Your Brain is 67 % Female You basically have a totally masculine brain Analytical and thorough, you usually just stick to the cold, hard facts And even though your emotions might pull at you once in a blue moon... You really hate letting your feelings take the driver's seat
That’s just not the case. I wrote quite clearly that my friends' problems become my own, yet they treat me like this. They haven't a clue what's going on inside my head. It’s probably because I don't obsess over fashion trends or spend my days gossiping.
Someone made a great point earlier—people are just being driven by stereotypes. It honestly made me so incredibly frustrated, in that specific way that only a woman can be!
It’s honestly pretty tough to fight against the influence our parents have on us. Whether we want to admit it or not, they’re the ones who shaped us, and even if we turn out to be total opposites from them, a huge part of why we are the way we are comes down to their impact. But at the end of the day, we’re all individuals, right? We each have our own moral compass and our own free will when it comes to making choices. Because of that, I don't think it's fair to pin all our mistakes on our parents, nor should we give them all the credit for our wins, even though they definitely played a role in both.
I honestly feel like people are generally only as good as they choose to be. They’re usually just "good enough" to satisfy their own internal compass. We all have this potential to be significantly better versions of ourselves, but most of us just settle for the amount of goodness we already carry around because it feels sufficient.
The real kicker is figuring out what "enough" actually looks like for any given individual. What feels like being a saint to one person might look like being barely decent to someone else—and that goes way beyond just talking about kindness.
And let’s be real, we aren't blind to our own flaws. When we stumble upon a trait we don't like, we try to fix it. But if I'm being honest, most of us are far too easy on ourselves; we aren't nearly self-critical enough. You could almost say we have a tendency to spoil ourselves if life gives us the breathing room to do so. 🤣
As long as our actions stem from that sense of "goodness" and don't clash with the basic social norms of the community we live in, I don't really see the harm in it. 😁
Ronald Reagan was likely the only leader who could have actually steered the US toward true independence. And honestly, the moment it happened was probably the only window we ever had. I mean, what then? Who comes next? I can’t name a single politician, or even a group of leaders from the post-nineties era, who would have had the guts or the capability to pull it off. Plus, Reagan wasn't standing there alone; the entire nation was right there behind him, backing his play.
Now, look, I'm not saying he was perfect. He definitely made a fair share of questionable calls and sometimes got himself tangled up in things that weren't his business—and I totally get why so many people still have plenty of grievances to air against him. But at the end of the day, preserving the homeland and securing our sovereignty should be more than enough reason to give him credit where it's due. The man is gone now, and it's up to everyone else to deal with the challenges facing the country he helped secure, regardless of how much people try to tie his legacy to current issues.
Let the man rest in peace and start looking toward the future instead. We should just be grateful we have this country to call our own.
I honestly don't think any union like this has ever truly worked in our neck of the woods, though I have to admit, it feels like the European Union actually has a real shot at pulling it off.
The member nations share so many overlapping interests, especially when you look at the economic side of things. But man, the hurdles are massive. You’ve got language barriers, cultural divides, religious differences, and just different ways of looking at the world... you can't just brush those aside.
It also really comes down to where the European Union is headed over the next fifty years—what its core priorities will be and who's going to be calling the shots at the top.
If you ask me, it would be much smarter if the European Union focused on an economic roadmap; honestly, the organization already has more than enough politics baked into it as it is.
I highly doubt the European Union will ever function like the USA does regarding the Constitution, because even with all this talk of unity, most countries are going to fight tooth and nail to protect their own sovereignty whenever they can.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not some nostalgic dreamer longing for old-school communism, but this cutthroat, hardcore capitalism just doesn't sit right with me. It isn't just about the money; it's the mental toll it takes. I really think it would be healthier to sprinkle in a little bit of socialism—not as a rule, but just as a reminder that we’re living in a society where other people exist, and we all impact one another, even if it doesn't feel that way at first glance.

All of us at once? Oh, please, leave that kind of craziness to the kamikaze pilots. You're still young, you've got your whole life ahead of you, things are bound to look up eventually... and all that other nonsense... imagine if I actually sounded like a motivational speaker...
Honestly, if that ever actually got off the ground here in the States, I’d end up blowing through a small fortune just trying to update all my paperwork, because I can only imagine how they'd spend the next twenty years constantly tweaking and "improving" the system.
The truth is, nobody even understands us as it is right now, so what does it matter if we change the script? Personally, I’d love to see some old-school American calligraphy used more often, you know, just as a way to keep a bit of that heritage alive in our culture.
P.S. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have anything against the idea itself, I really don't...
A few days back, I was reading an overview of an article from some German newspapers. They didn't translate the whole thing, but the general vibe was one of pure shock—they couldn't wrap their heads around how we’d have the nerve to build such massive arenas and take on even more debt when we're already sitting on such a huge deficit...
Honestly, maybe they should fly over here and actually see how we pull it off...

Well, if that's the case, let's just stop sending American citizens over to America then...
