I'm not really feeling the "ignore" option... in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I honestly feel like you just stumble upon their posts by accident whenever you're reading a thread where someone else has quoted them, so I don't think it's actually a glitch with the forum itself, since the server seems to be ignoring their specific posts while still letting their quotes through just fine 😁

I guess🙂
Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting? in Betting Forum ·
I honestly don't think they can even collect taxes on this because there’s just no way to track the money. Back here in the States, everything is tied directly to your Social Security number, so you're always on the radar, but how on earth are they going to track what you're doing at some random sportsbook in the Cayman Islands? 😁 From what I gather, a ton of these operations are tucked away in exotic locations specifically so the owners can dodge taxes and keep their margins high.

I suppose there might be some penalties set for the bookmakers themselves, though people on this forum have been saying that betting through foreign sites is basically a gray area; technically it's against the rules, but let's be real, nobody is actually out there policing it.
I can't catch the live broadcast right now, so I figured I'd just ask you guys here:

Are Alonso, Rosberg, and Massa sitting comfortably in the top 8? I managed to track Button far enough to see he's currently in first, which I guess means he's safely within that top 8 bracket, right?

Also, does anyone know who has already dropped out or retired from the race so far?
Nancy Scott5 said:Kovalainen

I mean, whatever, he's always been a personal favorite of mine... but honestly, if you look at Button and Alonso finishing within eight spots of him while Kobayashi, Sutil, Webber, Heidfeld, and Buemi all just drop out of the race, then this is pretty much where things should realistically settle down.😬

Yeah, this is what a soft midsection looks like... I know the photo quality isn't great, but I don't really have a way to get a better shot.

I'm curious to hear what you guys think—how much can running actually fix this situation? Right now, I'm hitting the pavement a few times a week, and I feel like I'm seeing some progress, though maybe that's just being subjective (it's not a huge visual change yet, but my core feels tighter and the fat seems a bit thinner, I guess)

I already have a plan for my chest, but that depends a lot on willpower (I won't start right this second, I'll do it later🤣). When I was running more last year, say, I used to eat sandwiches with like 9 ounces of bread, but now I'm mostly just drinking fluids, so the results are probably partly due to that. Honestly, after a run, I just can't bring myself to eat; some days I literally have to force myself to eat lunch around 2 PM (even though I've been up since 6 AM), but by then I've downed about 3 liters of liquid (just enough to replace what I burned while running)

In case it helps, I'm 5'11" and about 188 lbs.

Okay, I don't know how to edit photos, so excuse the weirdness...

After doing some work, running twice a week, and hitting the gym for a month, maybe 2-3 times a week

I don't know if it's just in my head, but I definitely see progress 😉

Yeah, so that’s what a total soft physique looks like... I know the photo quality is pretty crappy, but I just don't have the setup to take a better one right now.

I'm really curious to hear what you guys think—how much can I actually turn this around just by running? I've been hitting the pavement a few times a week lately, and I feel like I might be making some progress, though maybe I'm just being subjective about it (I mean, I don't see a massive visual change yet, but my core feels tighter and my midsection looks a bit leaner, I guess)

As for my chest, I have an idea of how to fix that, but honestly, it mostly comes down to willpower (which isn't exactly my strong suit right now, so I'll deal with that later🤣). Regarding my diet while I'm running, last year I'd be crushing a massive sandwich with like 9 ounces of bread, but now I'm basically just sticking to fluids, so I suppose the results are partly due to that. It's just that after a run, I seriously struggle to eat anything; some days I literally have to force myself to sit down for a meal at 2 PM (even though I've been up since 6 AM), but by then I've usually knocked back about 3 liters of water, which probably just replaces whatever I burned during the run

Is there actually any realistic shot of Button grabbing a win at some point this season? I’m mostly asking because I’ve got some bets riding on it 😬
What exactly is "homophobia"? in Psychology ·
Most people tend to label anyone with homophobic views as a radical extremist... but I don't really see it that way... sure, the guys who are out there looking to jump someone over a perceived slight are definitely homophobes, but I guess you could also argue that people who just say, "Look, stay on your side of the fence and leave me alone," fall into that category too. Honestly, someone else's sexual orientation doesn't affect me at all, at least not until I'm actually looking to start a relationship WITH THEM. If someone were to come out to me in private—hypothetically speaking, since that's not really happening—my reaction would be pretty complicated... I think in that moment, I’d feel potentially vulnerable, because there’s always this nagging chance they aren't just "opening their heart," but have some underlying motive. But then again, I suppose a girl feels that same sense of being unsettled when a guy friend confesses he's crushing on her, or even worse, tells her he's slept with her (okay, maybe that’s a bit more intense, but my situation wouldn't be much less awkward)

I honestly don't get how you can be sitting there with over five hundred posts and still not grasp this 😕

on some sites, they actually track your post count, which basically means more posts equals more of those little green icons ), 😁acting like some kind of reputation rating or something. If I'm remembering correctly

Look, I haven't really spent much time obsessing over that stuff; most of my time and all my posts have been focused on Jeeps and US domestic models...

But now that I've finally drifted over to this Reddit community, I see there are similar topics being discussed... so I figured I'd just ask..

Regarding the points, I hit ten of them a long time ago but they expired... what are they even for? Or maybe I should just ask what the site rules are so I can go find that myself🙈
How do I use Multi-Quote? in Forum Help! ·
Brian Mitchell44 said:@redhawk76

So, here is how you handle quoting text:

HTML Code:

Now, sure, you could sit there and type out the code manually if you really enjoy wasting your time, but why bother? It’s much simpler to just highlight the entire block of text and click this little icon shown in the image. It’ll generate the code for you automatically. Isn't life easier when you don't have to do everything by hand?

image

🙂

And look, I guess you could just type out the whole code manually if you really wanted to, but it’s honestly way easier to just highlight everything you want to include and then click on that little icon shown in the picture, and then the code will just pop up automatically like that:

🙂

test 2😁

I mean, I'm starting to realize that I probably should just delete the other second and last quotes... but honestly, it feels like it might actually be faster just to copy and paste instead.

redhawk76 said:No, that wouldn't quite work the way you're thinking...
Where am I missing the mark? If you could provide some more specific guidance, I’d appreciate it.

My current process is a bit of a cumbersome workaround—I tend to hit Quote, copy the entire block, strip out the parts I don't need, write my response, then paste the whole thing back in just to prune it again, and repeat the cycle indefinitely.

Just testing this out—I’ve been doing everything by hand lately, just manually copying and pasting everything between the tags.

Kate Bishop76 said:There aren't any actual perks tied to how many posts you make. And honestly, what does a -10 penalty even have to do with anything right now? Look, either start actually making sense when you write about whatever is bothering you, or don't expect anyone to waste their time trying to decode what you're even talking about.

Wait, aren't those points just post counts?! I guess I might have been wrong about that all this time...

Does the total post count even mean anything, or is it just a counter for how much stuff has been typed out? And if negative points don't represent the number of posts being deleted, then what on earth are they actually for?

Also, I know some people were saying that because of certain "rule violations," their post count would suddenly drop by a specific amount—like 100, 200, or 500 depending on the case—so if the post count itself doesn't serve any real purpose, I guess I just don't get why it exists at all.🙂

So, what exactly counts as an attachment here?
Post count in Forum Help! ·
I'm kind of wondering what the actual point of this is?

Like, are there any actual perks attached to it—opportunities or something else entirely? I get the obvious stuff, you know, like how getting a red flag might come with a -10 penalty or whatever, but I don't really grasp the deeper purpose... I mean, sure, it’s easy to tell if someone is a total newbie because they only have three posts, or if someone is basically living on Reddit 24/7 because their count is sitting at 45k, but beyond just being a number, what's the deal?🤷

What's your max push-up count? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Right now I’m hitting about 50 reps, usually doing 5 sets on my lifting days—though I honestly feel like I could push myself even harder than that, if I'm being real. I try to stick to these 5 consistent sets because I guess I'm just trying to make sure I'm actually making some steady progress instead of just spinning my wheels... my personal best is sitting at 130 right now.
Oral sex safety: What are your thoughts? in Health ·
Wait, wasn't it mentioned back in that HPV thread that about 70% of sexually active people end up catching it? And I think herpes is probably hovering around that same ballpark too... if I’m remembering correctly, one version of herpes shows up as those little sores around the mouth, what most people just call cold sores.

I mean, you could definitely be looking at things like herpes or HPV, just to be safe.

Honestly, I feel like half the people you run into these days probably have herpes or HPV anyway, so maybe it isn't even worth stressing over too much... plus, if I recall correctly, both of those are pretty much incurable, right?
