MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2
in Soccer ·
The Super Cup is basically just a friendly pre-season match—it’s got all this fake weight attached to it like it's actually some big trophy or something.

Honestly, I’m starting to get a bad feeling. After three straight losses, I’m worried that whole inspiring quarterfinal run is about to be snuffed out entirely.
By the way, playing two matches for a cup final feels like a total waste—it almost devalues the whole tournament.

https://web.facebook.com/bojan.ivose...st&_rdc=1&_rdrYesterday, Mr. Igor Boraska visited City Hall, ostensibly to visit the Department of Economic Affairs.
Instead, he headed over to the Department of City Property—specifically to Maja Đerek’s office—where he launched a verbal attack against her. This all stems from an audit regarding the use of city-owned housing, which determined that his lease for a staff apartment needs to be terminated because he and his household members already own two other properties.
Mr. Boraska, next time you feel the urge to vent at city employees for simply doing their jobs, I suggest you come to my office instead. You won't have to climb as many stairs, and you certainly won't find a woman to take your frustrations out on; you'll be facing someone who can actually hold their own in a conversation.
Maja Đerek
It’s all about facts, evidence, and regulations. It is quite clear that the city apartment is being used at a preferential rate while he holds ownership of two other residences. Because of this, he can't claim to be negotiating on equal footing. Perhaps some people are used to coming in here and demanding illegal favors, but those days are over.
The audacity of it all. He’s living in an apartment illegally and then complains when they try to take it away. But hey, I guess since he's an Olympian, we're all supposed to just look the other way.

Seriously, if you've actually spent even ten percent of the time in the hardcore fan scene that you claim to have, how on earth are you acting shocked by some lady at a stadium shouting nonsense because she saw things from her own little perspective? Or about some random guy in a crowd of 1,500 people trying to provoke a player on the pitch? It's unbelievable, right, how could something like that even happen?! I can totally spot someone who’s never stepped foot in an American stadium before, but you? You claim to be part of the crew, man, come on... Isn't it just a running joke that everyone at these stadiums thinks they’re a PhD holder or some kind of absolute genius? And let me tell you, our local stadium is famous for exactly that kind of nonsense 🙏
I am getting so incredibly bored with this whole argument, seriously! What's next, are all the citizens of our city going to gather tomorrow just to issue a formal apology on behalf of one bald guy? Yeah, we might just do that too, just so you guys can stop being so incredibly dramatic about everything 👍
Jonathan Smith12 said:There is absolutely no way that was the full crowd at the stadium today... if those numbers are even remotely accurate, we could easily squeeze in another 15,000 people, and honestly, I haven't the slightest clue where on earth we would put them all. It just feels fundamentally off, almost surreal, you know?

| says: Think about how much the U.S. Coast Guard—or even local volunteer rescue squads—has saved hikers lost in the woods wearing flip-flops, or all those people wandering off trails, or even during flood rescues and stuff like that. That’s why the whole situation with the national agency is just stupid. They basically earned it. The search and rescue teams are volunteers. |

Dana Martin95 said:So, local news just put out a segment on this.
This is pretty bad. This kind of stuff is exactly why people used to call out the Republicans for being shady and non-transparent, and now it looks like the new leadership is doing the exact same thing.🤦
