Sheryl Sandberg posted on Facebook this past Saturday that she sent this response over to the folks at Sold.

The jerk from the "Sell America" crowd started the witch hunt first, using old Mar Tanjug as a pawn to suit his own agenda. It wasn't until four days later that Sheryl Sandberg finally released a response explaining everything. 🙏

A new bottom for the Sale... 🤦 What is Hanza even thinking? Those people are out of their minds. That woman hit the nail on the head with her post.

Since our famous writer Nick Saban decided to single me out again in his latest piece based on nothing but falsehoods, I felt compelled to set the record straight. Just to be clear, I actually reached out to Mr. Saban and offered to sit down for a meeting so we could clear up any confusion with the actual evidence and documentation in hand. As of today, he hasn't bothered to get back to me.
I can't quite wrap my head around why Nick Saban is pushing so hard for these two blatant cases of favoritism. It’s a complete disregard for contractual obligations, and it’s all being done at the expense of our most vulnerable citizens—the people who have been patiently waiting their turn for housing assistance.
The era of cutting deals through backroom connections and "knowing a guy" is finally coming to an end. Everyone is now being held strictly accountable for their obligations to the City, and honestly, a little bit of media scrutiny is exactly the motivation we need to keep things honest.
Update: At 2:22 PM, I sent an official denial to the SD editorial board. It’s pretty clear they are attempting to systematically spread misinformation to the public. Let's hope they publish a correction soon.

They wouldn't even take a free copy if it meant getting out of a jam.
It’s got nothing to do with actual journalism anymore.
Nobody in my office even touches that garbage.
It's basically turned into a tabloid rag.

Central Park Conservancy exposes five illegal greenhouse sites and calls out the inspectors: They've occupied 2,000 square feet

These greenhouses cover over 2,000 square feet—totally wrecking the land for unauthorized use—and they're sitting right in an area where greenhouses are strictly banned.

So, why isn't the building inspectorate actually following through on the removal order? It’s been legally binding for over six years now after the appeals process ended.

Don't sweat it—the inspectors aren't gonna show up for this one.
They just set up those greenhouses and nobody's doing a damn thing.
Is that inspection crew actually scared? Looks like they just want to take down Eric Adams.
You thugs.

Man, if the Republican Party put half this much energy into actually fixing things instead of just trying to stop him from making progress, we'd be set.
I haven't seen people go after decent guys like this in a long time.
It’s messy—totally out of line—but I guess you just have to get used to it if you want to live in a sane world.
The era of staying quiet is over.

The system's broken every single time
Those guys who were out there stealing and acting shady—now they’re acting like saints
Ed Lee is killing it and needs to keep that same energy
Finally, someone actually follows through on what they say
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
These guys are acting out
They basically gave in on nine out of ten demands, yet they’re still planning to screw over the public once the busy season hits
Man, I am so sick of these Republican Party crooks

unnamed US person:
WASTE MANAGEMENT STRIKE: Management was ready to accept nine out of ten demands, but apparently it wasn't enough

A group of Waste Management workers is starting a strike this Wednesday—even though we're hearing they actually met nine out of ten of their demands. The one sticking point where things fell apart was that "inflation adjustment"—basically just adjusting the base gross pay to match the annual consumer price index in the USA based on the latest U.S. Census Bureau data. The union was pushing for a permanent salary bump of $333 gross.
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
The Republican Party is becoming a joke at this point
Seriously, they’re such a mess

none
Marijana Puljak: We’re stuck in a nightmare with no way out—the Republican Party is out to get us

"So far, he's been hit with $68 fines, and there's the threat of $80 more, plus potentially $100 on top of that—not to mention even more could be coming. We're caught in this total catch-22 where we don't know what to do—should the City even function or just shut down? Two different solutions are clashing. Either way, the fines keep coming," says Marijana Puljak.
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
Waste Management workers have been on strike since Wednesday—union reps are stepping up to talk to the press tomorrow
maybe our local guys will join in for a massive walkout too
paying them the same crap
man, you'll be swimming in trash if they actually pull it off

PARTNERS ABANDON THEM: Quorum collapsed at the Assembly

PARTNERS TURN THEIR BACKS: Majority shifts in County Assembly, Sanders (Republican Party): "Nothing surprising here—obviously Bulj is leading the opposition"

but the Republicans are losing the county
looks like Puljak's wealthy crew just sabotaged themselves--classic
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
The Republican Party claims they care about the poor,
they say they look out for seniors and kids,
but really it's just those jerks looking out for themselves,
so it’s great that Ed Garvey finally called them out on their crap.

Anthony Bennett6 said:If they backed down on evicting those guys, they’d lose every ounce of credibility they have left...

Honestly, he's just doing the dirty work nobody else in San Francisco had the guts to touch.
It's about time people started talking about this—especially considering how much taxpayer money is being flushed down the drain.
She’s already made her move.
Now it's just gonna be endless court battles and other nonsense—you can't just kick an old lady out on the street like that.
She's used to the high life, living easy.
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
Those losers over at the local news outlet have zero shame
Defending people like that is basically asking to throw up
That unnamed US person completely dismantled the unnamed US politician and his cronies
Major props to her
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
Man, when is this city finally gonna stop getting robbed
Old news in the papers
She pulled it all off through her connections with the Mayor
I’m out here raising kids in my 60s while she’s living solo at 75
Got money for cigarettes but won't pay the rent
Get her out of there

Zachary Anderson20 said:Muktases? Please, explain yourself. I honestly don't get how people actually doing their jobs are "Muktases." You might hate what they write, fine, but I'm genuinely curious—why are the reporter and the photographer Muktases? And let me add this—I am completely against this nonsense about giving apartments to "deserving citizens." Most of these people are perfectly capable of working. Give them a plaque, say thanks, whatever—but stop making things up. Apartments? Why? Especially now when real estate prices are insane and there are families actually struggling. Because you know what? To me, the real Muktas is Nikola Ivosevic, some mediocre actor who didn't even finish Academy—and I say that because Malac is losing it over the other uneducated people in the theater. Nikola Ivosevic is using a city apartment like he's some "deserving citizen" of San Francisco. What a joke.

But don't you see they're just protecting anyone who's "muktas" and wants everything
whether it was that lady from the antique shop or this old woman from the diner
man, they're just selling a load of crap to the public while only looking out for their own
you think I care about Bojan Ivošević's dad? If he isn't paying for that apartment, kick him out
who cares if it's Ed Lee's dad or whoever else

🤣

Honestly, that journalist-turned-politician Prvan is a complete idiot.

About her. I can't see an image attached here. If you were trying to share a photo, please upload it so I can take a look! Sitting there over coffee and a cigarette, acting like life is just one long struggle—claiming they’re sick, complaining about how hard social services are to navigate. And wouldn't you know it? They aren't exactly hiding the cigarette pack, either. $10I bet there's a new iPhone in that pocket, too. 🙏

She learned to adapt to every regime, thinking that was the only way to survive forever.

Besraman Prvan, Mary Higgins Clark. 🤮
That’s not journalism, that’s just Prkic being "smart"
writing right under the pic
The crew's doing great—living the good life thanks to Muktas
Bojan was right—all you Muktas can go to hell
Keep pushing it and give it back to the poor folks

velvetmason14 said:I’d say the Republicans are actually doing his marketing for him on a national scale. 😉
If Jerry Sanders plays his cards right here, he could actually pull some serious political capital from all this public scrutiny. He’s quickly becoming the go-to face for anyone looking to push back against the Republican Party.

Look at the fight being waged by the people who sold out the City of San Diego and that Prvan-anarchist, who just wanders around looking for excuses and sympathy for anyone causing damage to our city. 🤦
Now the "We Can!" and "Smart" parties are acting surprised that they flopped in San Diego. Honestly, when you run candidates like Prvan, failure isn't just likely—it's inevitable.
The City of San Diego is essentially forcing a former journalist out onto the streets. Her situation is heartbreaking: she’s already lost her home to a fire, and now she’s saying they won't be able to kick her out of this apartment unless she's dead.

Here’s how a psycho-official from the Administration comments on the Mayor he works for on Facebook:
"Quote:"
Dalibor Lovrić
He was all about restructuring the system when he was in charge, but now that they’re turning that same scrutiny on him, he’s suddenly sweating bullets. People like him need a full legal audit—something invasive, strictly by the book, and completely unavoidable.
The bottom feeders are fighting back hard... Milina 🙂

velvetmason14 said:Wait, isn't this the same daycare owner from Newport who tried to pressure the Republican Party into lowering the rent she set herself? 🤔

She tried to blackmail Bulj, but he just shut her down completely.

Markey can't let people like this hold him or the city hostage.

Honestly, this woman has a whole system for squeezing parents and kids all over the county. 🤦 It’s funny how that happens whenever the Republican Party isn't in charge...

THE MAGIC PIANO IS CLOSING: Mayor Bulj is calling for a new branch of the 'Bili cvitak' daycare center

Markey needs to absolutely wreck this lady and send the inspectors after her
The places keeping our kids is no joke
She’s running a business off kids and draining money from San Diego
Screw people like that

So, is Waste Management heading for a strike now?
Everyone wants a job at Waste Management, apparently.

The Director of San Diego's Waste Management isn't surprised: You won't believe who's applying for the trash collector roles... And a strike is looming...

Is the high demand for positions at Waste Management just because the pay is so good? How many people actually show up when they post a job opening? — we asked the director.

- Every time we put out a job posting, we get flooded. You’ve got people showing up with full college degrees just to pull bins and dump them onto the hydraulics.

The party's over

everything's being overhauled
THEY BYPASSED THE RULES: Here’s why an Olympian, an opera star, a professor, and a retired journalist are losing their city housing

Ed Garvey's administration isn't handing out new apartments—instead, Đerek just audited the 20 units that were already assigned.

She confirmed to us that the lease terminations have been sent to Olympian Igor Boraska, San Diego Loyal SC opera star Ivica Čikeš, piano professor jelen Marasović Hornyanszky, and retired media pro Marija Erceg.

Right now, there are 70 families or individuals stuck on the waiting list—including folks with big families, people with disabilities, and veterans who are currently struggling through some pretty rough social conditions.

- The City of San Diego won't let city assets be used in a way that hurts our most vulnerable citizens - the department head concluded.
