Here is the situation: a friend of mine is planning to get breast implants, but during her initial ultrasound, the doctor spotted two cysts, both about 4mm in diameter. To be safe, a second doctor performed another ultrasound and followed it up with a mammogram just to rule out anything concerning. Fortunately, the mammogram came back completely clear. The radiologist essentially gave her the green light for the plastic surgery, stating there isn't an immediate risk, though they did schedule a follow-up scan in four months just to stay on top of things.

Has anyone here dealt with something similar? I am curious to know what you would do in this position. Would you proceed with the silicone implants now, or would you wait until after the follow-up appointment? She is quite anxious to move forward because she has already finalized all the arrangements with her surgeon.
She is 28 years old, by the way.
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I have a question, and I would truly appreciate some guidance from anyone who might be able to help.
I have been taking Diane 35 for about a year now, consistently at 10:00 PM every night. I am scheduled to travel to China in a few days, and there is a six-hour time difference compared to here in the States. How should I manage my dosage while traveling?
Tampons in Women's Health ·
I just wanted to share a little victory because, honestly, I had been struggling so much. I’d already wasted two tampons just trying to get them positioned right; every time I realized it wasn't seated correctly—usually because I could actually feel it—I’d get so frustrated that I’d just pull it right back out. So, I decided to try a different approach. I figured the best way was to sit on the toilet and apply pressure from underneath. I kept pushing until it finally slid all the way in and I couldn't feel it anymore. It was such an incredible relief to finally have it placed properly. I will admit, it felt a little awkward and even a bit uncomfortable while I was slowly maneuvering it, but once it was in, all that discomfort was completely forgotten. Fast forward to the next day, and I felt so confident that I actually wore white lace panties and a white sundress for a day out in the city. I was a tiny bit anxious about it, though, since we were sitting at a cafe, so I asked my boyfriend to take a discreet peek just to be sure. And nothing! Absolutely nothing. Even when I got home, there wasn't a single sign or worry, lol. It was like my period didn't even exist. Also, please don't be afraid of the removal process; it's actually quite easy.

So, here’s the thing
I finally decided to pick up some standard OB tampons because the heat is absolutely driving me crazy, and I really want to be able to wear dresses without feeling self-conscious.
The catch is that I haven't used them much outside of a few trips to the coast. My main issue is that I can't seem to get the tampon inserted deep enough. There’s always this tiny bit of the applicator or the top part sticking out; you can't see it when I'm standing up, but I can definitely feel it whenever I sit down or walk around. The packaging explicitly states that you shouldn't feel it at all, which implies it isn't placed correctly if you do. So, does the entire tampon—including that little flared part—need to be fully inside the vaginal canal for it to be considered properly inserted?
Also, a quick side question: do tampons actually have an expiration date? I have a box sitting around from a summer trip a couple of years ago.

One more thing... when I finally decided to take the tampon out because it was getting uncomfortable, I noticed the tip looked a bit frayed, almost as if the cotton fibers were starting to unravel into tiny little threads.
Bumps on my junk—is this normal? in Women's Health ·
You see, I experienced something very similar in my groin area a few months back. I ended up doing quite a bit of digging around myself trying to figure it out, and it lingered for a while before finally clearing up. Previously, I had noticed a similar change on my thigh, and at that time, my dermatologist explained it was likely just a lymph node reacting to some sort of minor infection.
I am truly grateful to everyone who reached out; knowing what you all have shared has put my mind at ease. It will pass, and honestly, I’ve always been a bit of a hypochondriac anyway😘. Thank you all so much.

Pimple on the genitals—for those who know what I mean

I’m wondering if it's possible to get a pimple on the inner labia caused by waxing as a reaction to the wax itself. About a month ago, I waxed my bikini area myself, getting quite close to that specific spot. After that, I tried using an epilator for the same area. While showering yesterday, I felt a small bump and checked it in the mirror; it was about 3mm. When I applied light pressure, a tiny bit of white pus came out. It has shrunk a little since then, but it still looks like an under-the-skin pimple. I can't squeeze anything else out of it now. It isn't painful, and the edges look normal rather than inflamed; the color matches the rest of the mucous membrane. I haven't had sexual intercourse, though I do masturbate occasionally through my clothes.
For the last three or four days, I've been showering twice a day. I should also mention that I wear thongs every single day and use daily liners. I recently switched my body wash, and I sometimes use scented toilet paper—once, I actually dealt with some itching because of scented toilet paper.
I have a boyfriend, and we will be becoming intimate very soon. I’m wondering if I should be worried about having something that I might accidentally pass on to him, even though we plan to use condoms.
Is there any reason to be concerned or to see a doctor? Or should I just wait a few days and see how the spot behaves?
Thanks in advance to everyone.
