The Ukrainians picked up 2,650 Matador-RGW 90s from Germany, and they’ve already arrived.
On top of that, here's what else just showed up from Germany:
German rockets and machine guns arrived in Ukraine; more weapons from Germany have arrived in the war zone of Ukraine
More weaponry from Germany has reached the war zone in Ukraine. As the news agency DPA learned from Ukrainian government circles, the shipment includes 1,500 Strela type air defense missiles and 100 MG3 machine guns. They also sent over eight million rounds of ammunition for small arms.
According to reports, besides the weapons, additional aid supplies for the Ukrainian armed forces have arrived from Germany. This includes 350,000 food packs, along with 50 vehicles for medical transport and material for medical supply.
The only thing that actually works is garlic, and you have to use a ton of it ☕ Once that scent kicks in, everyone starts giving me a wide berth 😁 Plus, it’s a pretty solid defense against vampires 👍
Daniel Green98 said:It really depends, honestly. What kind of B12 are we even talking about here? There are basically two versions out there on the market. One actually gets absorbed by your body, and the other... well, it's pretty much useless. WATCH OUT: The human body can't even process certain types of cobalamin! Since there's such a massive risk of running low on B12 if you're following a strict vegetarian diet, vegans really ought to be taking supplements. But here's the kicker—some of those vegan supplements use these edible blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) that mostly just contain pseudo-B12, which doesn't do anything for humans. You have to be super careful and make sure whatever supplement you grab uses an active form, like cyanocobalamin, hydroxocobalamin, methylcobalamin, or 5-deoxyadenosylcobalamin.
Both actually get absorbed.
Cyanocobalamin is the synthetic version of B12. It’s cheaper, but the absorption isn't quite as efficient. That's the stuff I usually take in my daily multivitamins.
Hydroxocobalamin is more natural and supposedly absorbs much better.
You can also find methylcobalamin on the market; it's natural too, though its absorption rate is a bit lower.
Still, a good doctor should be the one to decide what works best for you personally.🤔

So what's the catch...
Most vitamins, supplements, and drug bases are manufactured in India, with a smaller portion coming from China. When you break it down per pill, the total cost is basically pennies. Every company just handles its own formula, mixing, dosing, packaging, and ads... Everyone still makes a massive profit, no matter how low the price tag seems.
Nicholas Mendoza60 said:So, I think I read somewhere that your liver actually stores up Vitamin B12 if I’m remembering correctly... Apparently, you don't even start seeing the deficiency kick in until about three years later. I’m just totally lost on how my levels could drop from 450 down to 202... Especially since I'm already taking supplements and I eat meat and stuff...
That's right, B12 stores in the liver, and depending on your levels, it can last for two years or more. An adult typically needs about 3-4µg a day. An internist should be able to tell you why your B12 is dropping or if you aren't absorbing it properly.
Nicholas Mendoza60 said:How much time has passed since you took your last pill and had your blood drawn?
I haven't checked my B12 levels since December, but I'm planning to start back on a lower dose after a two-month break. I had more frequent blood work before and after my surgery, but we didn't really worry about B12 because everything else looked fine.
Nicholas Mendoza60 said:How long did it take for your vitamin levels to stabilize?
I'm not really sure. I haven't checked lately, but when I had my last blood work back in December, I noticed they were high. It was at 808 pg/ml, while the normal range is 191 - 663. I used to just take all three pills at once because it was easier.😁
Then I read somewhere that you can really only overdose if you're getting them via injection, 🤔 and apparently only people who can't absorb vitamins naturally get the shots...
Nicole James said:Yay, that's how my doctor describes it—just a little "zapping" ☕ I remember spending the entire following day throwing up because of the anesthesia...
I was only lightly sedated (around 40mg of propofol, I think) and was up and walking right away without any issues.
I just went back and checked my old prescriptions, which explains how I ended up with a slight B12 overdose. Neurobion Forte—each capsule has: 100mg B1 200mg B6 200µg B12 Supposedly, this combo is the best way to ensure absorption and effectiveness. The problem was, I was taking three capsules every single day.😁 Once I start again, I'll definitely scale back to just two. I rarely eat meat, though—maybe two or three meals a week at most.
Right before I was supposed to be discharged from the hospital, I suddenly went into atrial fibrillation. Usually, when it happens to me—which is a few times a year—it just resolves on its own within a couple of hours, or sometimes takes a week. This time, the doctors wanted to get it under control immediately. They started with meds: magnesium infusions, Rythmol, and heavy doses of beta-blockers. Based on my past experiences, I had a feeling they wouldn't work, and sure enough, they didn't. So, on the second day, they moved to cardioversion (electrical shock). It went pretty smoothly; the whole thing probably took about 10 to 15 minutes. Next time, I'm not going to sit around waiting for the fibrillation to clear up on its own.
I think magnesium oxide is actually better since once you build up your levels—usually takes about 20 days—it stays steady. Plus, the price is pretty much the same. Taking too much Vitamin B isn't really an issue for me; I’ve taken high doses because absorption just isn't what it used to be as you get older.
There are basically two types of magnesium you should look at: magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide. Citrate works fast and burns through quickly, which is great if you're an athlete. Oxide is more of a long-term play; once your levels are topped off, it stays steady—just one capsule handles about 300-400mg daily. If your diet is on point, you really only need to worry about Vitamin D during the winter months. Everything else pretty much depends on whatever medical issues you might be dealing with. I personally take Vitamin D and a B-complex since my cardiologist put me on them through my insurance. I actually overdid it on the B vitamins once 😁 and now I'm paying the price.
The recent election cycle across four key states—think places like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and similar regions—is officially wrapped up. This gives the administration some breathing room to tackle those unpopular reforms since the next big elections aren't until late 2019. In the meantime, a coalition of all nine states and various chambers has teamed up to push back against the government and its planned changes. It looks like the President doesn't quite have his own party under control, so if things stay this way, those reforms might end up being pretty watered down.
Charles Brown9 said:From what I can see, Sebastian Kurz gave Heinz-Christian Strache everything he was looking for. Had he handed over more control of the budget, the Republican Party could have easily governed on its own.
Yeah, the FPÖ got way more than they actually needed. Kurz is basically a pragmatic opportunist; he knew he couldn't become Chancellor without them, and he wanted that job more than anything. He spent all Friday trying to cook up a new Secretary of the Treasury—some total unknown guy—just because his own party members were getting fired left and right. Then he suggested Josef Moser, which drove his own people crazy, especially the governors in places like Oregon, Colorado, and Ohio. Now he’s tapped Moser for Attorney General, which has only made things worse. 😁 Every news outlet is reporting that he's playing a really dangerous game with his own party.
Richard Wilson4 said:DJ, how much is the media going to cry now just because we're on good terms with the Višegrad group? Is the whining gonna continue if we fix things with Austria too? 😁
Honestly, nobody's crying, and frankly, nobody cares.
8 Republicans - 6 from the far-right party + one state secretary, and everyone except the leader is brand new! http://derstandard.at/2000069820863/...ichen-Minister
Austria hasn't seen a government this radical since the late 40s. All 17 of those lawmakers belong to these old-school nationalist student groups that only fly the German flag on their emblems. The President made it clear ahead of time that he wouldn't touch Harald Vilimsky or Johann Gudenus with a ten-foot pole—even though Vilimsky was originally lined up for Homeland Security. But Strache pushed through two hardliners instead: Kickl for Homeland Security and Kunasek for Defense. Now we've got the far-right running all the intelligence agencies in the country, which honestly feels pretty sketchy.
