They’ve got the winning spirit, but man, we can't afford even 5 minutes of being totally checked out and making silly mistakes, or they'll just absolutely wreck us on the court.

wish it was at least five

Maybe they'll go all out before the game, play super tough, and then just celebrate like crazy once it's over.

Man, those Spaniards sure have all the luck, don't they?

I mean, did this coach even have a plan? I guess he basically threw the game away if you ask me.

I honestly think they were just

That Spanish squad was absolutely nothing against an aggressive 5-1 defense. I mean, sure, our wing defense was a bit shaky, but if we can just get past Egypt, it’ll be the perfect matchup to shut down those lucky arrogant guys.

What the hell, they went on a full-on attack for a minute and a half straight, but those Brazilians just can't seem to stay tactically sound, I guess

Man, if anyone had ever told me I’d end up rooting for Brazil one day, I probably would've just laughed in their face.

I mean, I'm kind of worried Zlatko might actually be in NYC right now, so maybe he just sent Ivić instead.

What on earth are those Mexicans doing? I mean, they don't even have a goalie, plus their technical skills are just... meh, I guess.

Shallow Nile

I guess the games I'm actually looking forward to most are Norway-Mexico and Russia-Canada. Everything else seems kinda boring, honestly.

Maybe try hitting up some local clubs out in the Rockies for some advice

As for what we can do about your request, I guess we'll have to wait for the head admin to weigh in. I don't really recall us ever releasing temporary data slices just because someone asked. You'd rather take a two-month ban instead, right?

I'll just hang out and wait 😁
saw a pretty wild penalty 😬

Can someone maybe hit me with a ban on the PDF policy for a month or two? I guess I just need a break.🙂

Thanks,

There's zero proof in the States that this "Shy torry" thing is a permanent fixture. It pops up once in a while, like everywhere else (like in the UK where the term actually came from back in the '90s and then again in 2015), but other times? Nothing. People went nuts talking about it after the 2014 presidential elections when the results totally tanked every single poll from the week before. But during the 2015 Congressional elections, nothing really shifted.

Even if that factor is real, the more education people get, the more they lean Democratic and ditch the Republican Party.

Don't have the book on me right now, but I'll find that study on the Green Party once I dig through my stuff. 😉

You can't actually prove that educated voters lean toward the Democratic Party while others favor the Republicans. Voting is private, after all. Honestly, maybe the "educated" ones are the very people staying home—I personally know plenty who either skip the polls entirely or always vote for some third-party option. I don't buy the polls... The only way I'd believe those stats is if we could actually see exactly how every single person voted and had data built directly from that.

I mean, I trust polls to a certain point, sure, even with the margins of error, but I gotta hand it to them—they actually called the election results pretty well. 🙏
