If you really sit down and think about it, the only way justice works out is if we end up facing Qatar in the finals. We take out Spain, the Norwegians handle the Magyars, then we beat Norway and head straight to the big game. Over there, the Canadians lose to Qatar, the Swedes get their revenge on France, and then Qatar absolutely crushes Sweden, just like how Saladin crushed Arne Magnusson near Gaza. That leaves us walking away with the gold after going through three Arab nations: SA, Egypt, and Qatar.
so like, cave troll... i guess? just kind of a random thought floating around my head today. maybe i'm just hungry or something, haha. anyway, yeah. says: Feeling pretty bitter about this one. 🙏 🙏
No way, man, you weren't actually rooting for Germany, were you?

So, how’s everything going? Just checking in, I guess.
So, the Americans totally blew it yesterday. The refs basically let them run that long offensive for way too long—it felt like they were practically rooting for the Spanish side or something. Instead of just calling a timeout to get everyone back on track, the coach just let things slide, and I guess he watched his guys spiral into total chaos while they were desperately trying to catch up.
Just don't say I didn't warn you before the final buzzer 🙂
Chris Fisher3 said:Yeah, just gotta take them out one by one. I mean, regardless of how tough Egypt is, we have to get past them first. Everyone expects it, sure, but everyone also expected the Danes to pull it off today.
There aren't really any impossible hurdles in this tournament. I mean, the French look pretty intimidating, but they've got their hands full with the Swedes right now, and those guys don't mess around. Spain is strong too, but the Brazilians could've knocked them out, so...
That’s why I love handball. Anything can happen on paper. Honestly, we don't even need a miracle—we've got our faith—but we really need to pay attention during that game against Germany. With the way we're playing, we wouldn't even make it past Egypt, let alone worry about Spain. We need a new strategy... and maybe a new coach, but man, it might be too late for that.
It honestly bugs me that I can't see any real plan from them. For three days, the ball's just bouncing around, the wingers are totally exhausted and basically standing there doing nothing while the defender just takes them for a walk. If it isn't a fast break or a semi-fast break, they don't even try to push the pace. The Germans were running fast breaks the whole time, yet our guys act like they're the ones in control while the Germans are actually the ones driving the score.

And it's handball, so even smaller, I guess. I'm with you—first, we gotta take down the Egyptians. If they play anything like those guys from Tunisia, they're gonna tear our defense apart at the line.

And man, those Spaniards look absolutely stacked compared to us. But honestly? It felt like they walked in yesterday thinking it’d be an easy win—basically having the stamina of Brazil and controlling the game like they owned it for like 98% of the time, until their coach totally blew it.
I mean, I don't think we've got much of a shot against the Spaniards. They're probably gonna learn from their mistakes this time, so I'm guessing the final is gonna be a showdown between France and Spain.
