Looks like Bottas is starting to sink.

Hemoš and Adrian Sutil headed out too, probably starving. 😂
Grosjean, right behind Pic 🤦

He seems to have forgotten that he slammed into Adrian Sutil at almost the exact same spot, driving in like a total amateur...😬

Back then, Kimi lost his car right after coming out of the tunnel; he wasn't even trying to overtake Sutil.

Comparing that to what happened today is just stupid. The situations are completely different.

Dammit, that director totally missed the mark on showing Kimi's breakthrough.

Nah, Rosberg and Hemoš both pitted back-to-back. Neither one went in twice.

Did they seriously run more laps in this qualifying session than any other one we've seen so far?
The stewards pointed out some mitigating factors, basically saying there was a full minute gap between the yellow flags popping up and the official notice that DRS was actually deactivated.

When those yellow flags or lights go up, the "DRS DISABLED" alert hits the screens. Drivers aren't supposed to touch the DRS in either zone until they see the message "DRS
ENABLED"
.

The rulebook explains exactly what went down here.
The "DRS disabled" alert lagged, so everyone kept using it like usual until the message finally showed up. That’s why nobody got slapped with a penalty.

If necessary, I can handle the translation.

☕

I already told you what went down during the last race regarding this stuff.
What happened in Austin was just a bad call by the refs. It’d be pretty stupid to penalize anyone for it.

but honestly, I'm betting they just get slapped with a 25-second penalty instead of a grid drop.😍

I totally missed them checking out Perez during the race.🤷
Jason Campbell70 said:They are, provided the automatic headlight system actually works.

Look at the details.

So how did they even know the system was busted?

And here's another thing for you:
Stewards said there were mitigating circumstances, stating there had been a one-minute delay between the displaying of yellow flags until the notification that DRS had been de-activated.
