I’m really not one to go around labeling someone the greatest driver on the planet 😉, but let’s be real: right now, he’s outperforming Vettel, Raikkonen, and Bottas, all while driving essentially identical machinery—or rather, a car that’s just a hair behind the best one on the grid...
Sebastian Vettel needs to shut his mouth and stop making these claims about not leaving any room... He’s the only one to blame for how today went down. If Ferrari had actually put their cars in first and third after that opening lap, one of them would have walked away with the win for sure. As it stands, Lewis Hamilton was just plain faster than Kimi Räikkönen today.
I caught the start and maybe two or three laps, and honestly, as someone who currently finds myself pulling for Ferrari way more than Mercedes... I don't think Vettel deserves to be champion. If he’d made a mistake back in Germany, fine, but a mature, seasoned driver shouldn't be making blunders like this.
He isn't driving with his head anymore; he's just driving on pure instinct, like he's some rookie in his first or second season. Hamilton had a rough start to the year, but in this second half, he's clearly become a much better, more complete driver than Vettel... No matter how incredible Vettel's performance was last season, it's obvious he's hitting a psychological wall, and you don't win championships driving like this. During the race, I fully expected Hamilton to overtake Raikkonen, since Kimi always struggles to match the pace of Hamilton or Vettel, though I still feel for Kimi since he couldn't even snag a single win.
I'm really hoping Leclerc joins Ferrari next year.
Look, no offense intended, but I’ve gone ahead and nuked a few posts because they were drifting completely off-topic. I was really hoping we wouldn't descend into the same kind of toxic fighting we saw during the Belgian Grand Prix.
It’s just not right to be using polls to vote on whether someone should be kicked off the forum, even if I agree that the debate following the Belgian Grand Prix crossed a line. I’ll be sitting down with WayOut to hash that out.
I’m calling it now: we’re looking at a dead heat between Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz, regardless of how much of an edge Ferrari grabbed at Spa-Francorchamps. Last year at this very spot, Mercedes-Benz absolutely tore into Ferrari.
Ferrari is definitely feeling the heat to deliver a win here...

I don't get it. 🙂
Gary Palmer8 said:the poll is just asking by how many seconds Ferrari will win. 5 - 10 - 20
I was actually hoping for a poll that covered more teams than just those two...
