GPU Buying Guide - (Read first post) in Desktops ·
That card is going to struggle big time with anything at 1080p, let alone pushing higher resolutions...☕
Which PSU should I buy? in Desktops ·

-Vettel is clearly loving life in a machine built by a genius like Newey, and you can't argue with that perfection... though I have to wonder how much of this success is actually due to his own skill...
-I used to really dislike Hamilton because he felt like a silver-spoon kid, but man, the talent he shows every single race is undeniable. He's incredibly aggressive, fiercely competitive, and completely obsessed with winning...
-No sugarcoating here, Alonso is my favorite when it comes to pure driving ability. His talent seems virtually limitless... just a flawless driver with extraordinary traits...
-Webber finally let me down. I truly believed he was more than just a supporting act at Red Bull, but despite what the bosses try to say, he's clearly stuck in second gear. He's just too soft and frankly, too slow...
-Button drove a stellar race today, making the most of that McLaren power to grab some solid points, but compared to a perfect Hamilton, he’s still just playing second fiddle...
-Massa is a disappointment, and he simply doesn't have what it takes to drive for Ferrari...
Just more proof that Alonso is pure class, even without a championship-winning car... a brilliant start, but you can only do so much when your machine just isn't there. Massive respect to Hamilton for fighting tooth and nail to catch a guy in an impossibly fast car, though that’s hardly his own doing...
Just more proof that Alonso is pure class, even without a top-tier car... a brilliant start, but you can only do so much when the machine just isn't there. Hats off to Hamilton, though; he’s fighting tooth and nail to catch a guy driving a rocket ship, but let's be real, that's not his doing...😕

It’s tough to pick out a solid keyboard without actually getting some hands-on time with it first. I’m currently using a Yahoo, and I definitely recommend it... though the low-profile keys might not be everyone's cup of tea.

It’s just because the entire series was problematic for our market. There were plenty of threads about it over on Tom's Hardware Forum...

That's how it is 👍
I just absolutely love the TwinFrozr design (even though I don't have one 😁) and I'd hate to pass it up if there's any way to get it....

No peripherals included, but I honestly think it's a great deal. You get a board with SATA 3 and USB 3.0 support, plus that GTX 560 Twin Frozr for maxed-out settings and overclocking... and you still get a 3-year warranty too...😁

And obviously, you pay upfront...😁

bluefalcon2 said:dustyskipper77 - I really dig this build, but if I recall correctly, I mentioned earlier in the thread that Best Buy only builds PCs if you buy the whole kit from them. You didn't include a CD drive. I actually just put together a custom rig at Best Buy myself, and they didn't even show me the sales tax until I hit the final checkout screen...

They'll assemble it for free, no sweat. Just swap out that stock cooler for this one from Boeing 👍
The total I listed includes sales tax. As for the CD drive, you suggested we leave it out at the start of the thread, so I didn't include it...

The first build uses an AMD processor that's incredibly overclockable—but it runs hot—so I went with the Corsair A70 just to be safe...
The second one features an even more powerful processor on socket 1155, though it lacks an extra cooler. If the OP plans on overclocking, they might want to look into a solid aftermarket cooler later on...$100(maybe a Scythe Mugen or something from Zalman).

Everything was assembled at MagazineRS, and they'll handle the assembly for free if you ask them...

Best monitor recommendations? in Computer Peripherals ·
Casey Long2 said:I can't say for certain if it’s the absolute best on the market—tech is always moving too fast for anyone to be sure—but I’ve personally never had a single issue with an Apple display. Looking at the specs, this monitor seems pretty solid for what it is. You're getting Full HD resolution, a 5ms response time, and a DVI input; honestly, when you're looking in this specific price bracket, you shouldn't really be hunting for anything more than that. 🙂

I don't know much about monitors, but generally, I avoid Apple because of some past experiences. Maybe I'm just being paranoid...😢
Personally, I'd go with Microsoft if I had the choice....
Brazil vs. USA - Nov 7, 2010 in Formula 1 ·
Fernando Alonso absolutely earned that title after that performance in the USA. That move passing the unnamed driver was pure genius, and he forced Lewis Hamilton into a mistake again 👍 Driving like that in a car that's clearly inferior to the Red Bull Racing machine—which should have clinched the championship already 😲
Mark Webber is struggling, but it’s such a tragedy that even though he has more points than Sebastian Vettel, he's still stuck as the second driver... he's practically barred from winning the title 🤣
Sebastian Vettel has blown so many opportunities that it would be a crime if a driver like that took the championship this year... nine top starting positions and only two wins if I recall correctly, all while driving the fastest car on the grid as the team's lead driver 😂
People are always blaming the fact that Felipe Massa let him slip away, yet nobody mentions how they're sidelining Mark Webber despite him outscoring Sebastian Vettel. Christian Horner has truly outdone himself here... 😕

The best thing for Red Bull Racing at the next race would be for Webber to win and take the title, finally proving he's just as good as Sebastian Vettel
Though I doubt Fernando Alonso would see it that way 😁
Is the Razer DeathAdder worth the money? in Computer Peripherals ·
Drew Brown10 said:So, what exactly makes the Razer imperator—which, let’s be real, is totally overrated and honestly gets crushed by the Logitech G500 nowadays—any better than the Roccat Kon?
Tell me, what does the Kon have under the hood that the G9x is missing.
The guy was just asking if it's worth grabbing because he said it feels great in his hand.
I mean, why wouldn't he just go for it when the mouse itself is top-tier and built like a tank?

You can read just about anything on this forum...😂
I'm not saying the G9X is bad, I'm just saying it's overpriced and you could find something better for that kind of cash...
