Provide more specific details, such as the screen size in inches and your budget limit up to $400.
Are you looking for this to facilitate gaming, or is it intended for an office environment?

In my opinion—and I know everyone has their own preferences here—this looks like a pretty solid monitor...

That is exactly what I was about to post. Honestly, I think it's probably the best monitor you can pick up at that price point.

I can't say for certain if it’s the absolute best on the market—tech is always moving too fast for anyone to be sure—but I’ve personally never had a single issue with an Apple display. Looking at the specs, this monitor seems pretty solid for what it is. You're getting Full HD resolution, a 5ms response time, and a DVI input; honestly, when you're looking in this specific price bracket, you shouldn't really be hunting for anything more than that. 🙂

I find myself in complete agreement; Apple remains one of the premier manufacturers for monitors, having never once disappointed me, and if I recall correctly, you personally own three Apple displays

I don't know much about monitors, but generally, I avoid Apple because of some past experiences. Maybe I'm just being paranoid...😢
Personally, I'd go with Microsoft if I had the choice....

Look, you really ought to step away from those washed-out, mainstream brands for a second and give this AOC a look. Jokes aside, it’s actually a fantastic monitor for the price point you're looking at.

I'm not starting a new thread since this one was just opened and covers the same ground...

Drago needs a monitor for his PC setup (he's already got the tower, keyboard, and mouse);
I've been scanning PriceGrabber, filtering for Microsoft models between 19" and 23", under $400 found a few options but I'm stuck on which one to pull the trigger on. Any advice?

I would personally opt for this one.
Provided you have a bit more capital to spare.
