Are those spots looking a bit pale or whitish to you? If they are, it’s likely just a fungal thing. I actually ended up with them after using hotel towels while I was working and living at a resort. I finally cleared it all up by washing my back with my regular hair shampoo. In the US, Head & Shoulders works wonders, though I'm not sure what the best option is over there. It might be worth a shot—nothing to lose.

I haven't caught up on the posts past page one, but here’s my take: it definitely matters. Everyone's body reacts differently, and it’s possible you just overdid it and your kidneys are struggling to keep up. That "eight glasses a day" rule is pretty broad, too. Honestly, it might be worth getting your kidney function checked out. There's always a chance they aren't working at full capacity without you even realizing it.
I used to think about getting an ankle tattoo, but then my mother-in-law decided to go for permanent eyebrow makeup. It’s basically the same thing as a tattoo, so I wanted to see how the process actually played out before making a move myself. She went to two different women. The first one did it all by hand—no needles, no injections—and there was zero swelling, just a tiny bit of redness. The second woman used a machine and gave her numbing injections beforehand. Well, she ended up with swollen eyebrows, eyelids, and eyes for over a week... totally inflamed and red. I think I'll pass on the tattoo after all.
A group of us headed out last night to catch Matrix Revolutions. Honestly? We were all pretty let down. Don't get me wrong, the special effects in the Matrix series are incredible. That first movie blew me away, and the second kept me hooked enough to wonder how it would end, but the third was just a total miss for me. And I'll admit, I really expected Trinity to die.
One more thing. I don't think this is the end of the story, especially since the Oracle said, "We'll see, Neo..." I'm just crossing my fingers that the third Lord of the Rings movie doesn't turn out to be a dud. That's all from me.
Walter Cox5, you're spot on. I often hear friends say, "Ugh, I really don't want to go to the gynecologist..." but then, if something actually goes wrong, the story shifts to, "Oh man, why didn't I go sooner?" Ladies, just think about how many people they see every single day; one extra visit isn't going to matter at all.
I have to admit, my experiences with gynecologists have been pretty rough. It’s hard to say—they either seem incredibly rushed, moving like they're on a conveyor belt, or they act like they're the smartest people in the room. My first visit was to a clinic in New York, I think it was called Bates. The woman there worked like she was in a coal mine; the exam left me in so much pain, honestly. To top it off, she was completely tech-illiterate. She missed a single word while typing my report, and instead of just hitting backspace, she opened an entirely new document and started from scratch.
Then there was another one near San Francisco. I had CIN I, then II, and she made such a huge scene about it likely being cancer. I was absolutely terrified. When the results finally came back showing it wasn't cancer, she just brushed it off with a nonchalant, "Everything's fine, see you in a year." She didn't even care about the panic she caused me. I switched doctors immediately.
On a brighter note, I've had some good ones too. There's a specialist in Miami—I can't recall his name, but everyone knows him—his office is right by the station. He was phenomenal, and I've never had a more comfortable exam. Another great one was in SF, an Iranian doctor who is always experimenting; he’s actually patented several new procedures and pieces of equipment.
