Consider this me giving you a little pat on the head... Providence! Radiohead and Pearl Jam 🙂 It’s pretty obvious you don't really know how to listen to music... both of them have put out songs in their careers that are honestly mind-blowing (granted, they’ve done some stupid stuff along the way, specifically Pearl Jam 😉) ... but it seems like you formed some silly little prejudice against these bands after just one listen (or maybe you just find them ugly and repulsive)... so, I’d suggest you actually try listening to music without all those preconceived notions. 👋

That’s what I call a real man's movie... perfect for the guys hanging out at the local pub. 🙄 😁 So, we're talking about some lazy bum who gets accidentally beaten up by a few guys and ends up getting peed on his rug. 😁So he tries to shake down this wealthy guy for a new rug—a guy who, honestly, was the kind of person they really should have just laid out in an alleyway, especially since he shares the exact same name. That’s how the whole conversation kicks off. It’s easily one of the best movies from the 90s. Maybe you women won't really get where I'm coming from, but honestly, every guy I know would be absolutely losing it laughing at this.
trash <>> kitsch (as far as I can tell) but honestly, that touch of kitsch is what gives the movie its mystical vibe; if it weren't quite so over-the-top, it probably wouldn't have worked nearly as well as it did.
Casey Palmer5 said:It’s kind of sugary and kitschy. A little trashy, I guess.
Still, I don't hate it. I've always had a soft spot for wolves and redheads. 😁
Trashy???? How on earth can you call this movie trashy? For me, it was damn good; I’ve watched it two or three times now and it hits just as hard every single time. It’s easily one of the better recent American productions—solid effects, great acting, and a actually decent story. 👍
So, Linda Rodriguez6, are you actually going to send me those The Clash tracks? Please, just get on with it. And honestly, I could probably use a healthy dose of punk rock in my life too. 😉
Honestly, I could do without most of it, really—just give me fewer of everything, except for the flags. I’m sure there’s someone from Chicago around here somewhere, it just seems like nobody can be bothered to deal with my nonsense.
Kevin Chavez3 : Everything Green Day has put out since Dookie has been pretty smart
but they definitely aren't smarter than Weezer... those guys are actual nerds playing college rock, which basically means at least some of them probably spent time in a university library, plus there are more of them, they're vegetarians who love animals, they get along with Spike Jonze, and they probably know a few sumo wrestlers, so they could easily take down anyone in Green Day 👋
I honestly think the third one, The Green Album, is absolute garbage. How is it that people have been circling back to the fifth record for two years now, especially since Maladroit came out way back in 2002? 😕
you notice how the Green Day threads always blow up more... I bet if I claimed Weezer was breaking up or that the kid from the Island in The Sun da video had some major accident, people would just flock to the comments to call it "fake news" or "trash" or some other garbage Honestly, I think bands mostly fake a breakup just to spike their sales; Green Day hasn't really done anything particularly brilliant since Dookie, so they'll pretend to split, then two months later—surprise!—they aren't actually splitting, they're just dropping a new album or starting a side project yeah 🤔 it doesn't really matter anyway 😉
yesssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!no doubt Weezer is easily one of my favorite bands because they always manage to either lift my mood or just make me incredibly pissed off, 😁 which honestly isn't a bad way to spend time, 😉 I just put the Green/Blue album on—I actually have both on a single CD, you punks 😁 np my name is jonas
Noah Watson4 said:Honestly, they could have just set the whole plot in some random garbage dump. 😁 Picture this: Keanu Reeves is some eager young sanitation worker starting his first night shift, while Al Pacino is the grizzled veteran cleaning out septic tanks... 😁
And then Al Pacino tries to take over the world by clogging up the sewers, which triggers a massive monsoon season that causes catastrophic flooding, everyone dies except for his crew, and then Kevin Costner shows up with his Waterworld expertise to save the day, convincing Reeves to pivot careers so they can team up to save the planet and finally take down Pacino.🤔 😉
As far as Devil's Advocate goes, I honestly think the writers were just having a massive laugh at the expense of lawyers and their whole little world.😉

Honestly, I’d argue those guys were more like wrecking balls—they were the only true rockers from that whole era. It was just constant drinking, drugs, chaos, and pure rock'n'roll on a massive, institutional scale.
But clearly, we kids aren't qualified enough to have an opinion on anything, so I'm calling in the fossils to weigh in on this one. 🙂
