Mirko is the GOAT, but... in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
Man, besides the fact that he was constantly whining about how much blue bruising he had even though he wasn't showing any actual symptoms 😬.

By the way, Barnett himself admitted right after the fight that he took a finger to the eye.
At the end of the day, he's probably the only one who actually knows what really went down.😉

Kudos to Barnett. That report he dropped was absolutely brutal. Honestly, though, it didn't even surprise me that much.
Regarding that finger to the eye incident... Barnett stated—and if you actually watch the footage closely, you’ll see it—that he went to grab Mike by his right leg, and that's exactly when Mike swung his hand. Mike had pulled back slightly just as he threw the punch. If Barnett hadn't been positioned right there, Mike would've landed a massive blow. Luckily, that finger was right in the way 😬 .

It makes perfect sense why he was touching up there afterward. When someone jams a finger into your eye, you have no clue if you've actually sustained a serious injury or not. You instinctively start poking at your eye because of the pain, trying to protect it. Then, in that exact moment, some lunatic 😁 who had been pummeling him the whole time starts swinging at his head again. A guy just loses the will to keep fighting when he realizes he can't even defend himself properly 🙂 .

Yeah, he’s some kind of elite special forces type from the East.

Kharitonov is a seriously dangerous fighter, and if Mirko ends up in the cage with him, he's going to have a hell of a time...

She looks pretty damn happy about re-breaking her finger again in this photo 🙂 .

Mirko Cro Cop vs. Mark Coleman in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
wanderingridge said:Man, then everything just goes straight to hell. Unknown isn't going to do it, and honestly, my gut tells me Mirko Cro Cop is walking away with the win, even though the guy is getting way too old for this.

Fedora actually had some serious struggles against him, and Mark Coleman didn't look particularly intimidated either.

I’m just hoping things turn out alright because the guy has an insane amount of experience under his belt, plus he’s a former UFC champion.

But regardless, I’m calling it now: Mirko Cro Cop takes it...

So how much did that print set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

I just hope you aren't about to become my buddy's future wife 😁 .

That label basically means it’s an authentic piece and isn't just some basic original template.
It could even be a piece where the artist went back in later to touch up the graphics by hand.
Those tend to run a bit higher in price, but nothing crazy.
If I've got any of this wrong, don't kill me, because at the end of the day, I'm just a layman when it comes to art.🙂
The print itself wasn't huge, so including the frame, it cost me about $167 right under my arm, which really means I scored it from a close friend.
That was why I was being skeptical—I honestly wasn't sure if we were talking about a true original here.
But after hitting up a few galleries, I've concluded that the graphic is solid.

Bought 🙂 .

And yeah, everything I just laid out is more than enough to make the point.

I just really hope my buddy ends up happy with how it turned out.

Cheers 🙂 .

Let’s make this the master thread for everything related to appraisals—antiques, paintings, photos, you name it. I’m hoping you all can provide the answers people are looking for here.🙂

Since I don't know the first thing about this kind of stuff, I'm asking for some help.

I decided to buy a print from Lackovic as a wedding gift for a friend, so now I'm trying to wrap my head around all these different markings you find on artwork.

Specifically, this piece has an "EA" mark—which people told me refers to the edition number—there's a watermark claiming it's authentic, and then there's some purple stamp on the edge.
Is that enough to prove it's the real deal?

On top of that, the artist's signature looks a little weird to me, though I did a quick search online and saw that it seems legitimate.
It looks like it says "Latkovic" instead of "Lackovic."
Is it actually common practice for artists to misspell their own names, or is this just a weird fluke with this specific guy?

So yeah, please help me out and hurry up because the wedding is this Saturday!😁 .

So, I just saw this popping up on the news feeds:

I was reading through the Wall Street Journal and Sports Illustrated yesterday, and they're saying that on April 4th, over at the arena...
The high schools over in the suburbs are finally stepping up and hosting an Ultimate Fight tournament, and honestly, it’s about damn time. I'm telling you right now, this is going to be massive.
The fighters from Mexico and Mexico are coming, but on our side, we’ve got three heavy hitters representing the COP Team.
Pokrajac, Kolakušić, and some other guy whose name I can't even remember! Apparently, Pokrajac would...
He should’ve been stepping into the cage against the top Mexican fighter... and honestly, he really ought to have been too.
We just wrapped up three matches between the US and Canada—it was basically one giant ultimate showdown...

If that's all there is to it, then fine. That's it.

It better be.

And who on earth knows?🙂

It’s honestly baffling to me that nobody has even brought up "The Green Mile" yet.

I want to thank everyone who signed up because I’m going to use this list to pick out the movies I haven't seen, which will help me finally filter through all the absolute garbage those local video rental shops try to push on us.

Because, let’s be real, there are certain films that you simply have to see at least once in your life.

If any of you have anything else stuck in your heads, just spit it out and write it down.
Cheers.
Richard Howard2 said:1. All the Star Wars movies
2. Blade Runner
3. 2001: A Space Odyssey
4. Alien 1, 2, 3, and 4
5. Abyss

I've got more...

6. Terminator 1 and 2 (By the way, does anyone actually know when they're finally dropping on Blu-ray)
7. Indiana Jones 1, 2, and 3
8. Back To the Future 1, 2, and 3

Man, how did I totally blank on the good old Terminator.
Especially the second one.
Back when it first hit theaters, those special effects were unlike anything anyone had ever seen before, especially that liquid metal scene where he reforms himself.
Absolutely killer.👍

How on earth did you not pick "Ali G in Parliament"?
lonescout2 said:Joseph Barnes53, man, you didn't list five movies, you listed eight 😛, so I'm going to play by those same rules.

🙂

Look, if I'm actually being consistent with point number five, I'll just leave Alien 2 on the list and scrap everything else. 🙂 😉.

If I really start sitting here and overthinking this, there's plenty more stuff I could throw into the mix.
Give me five movies that absolutely have to be part of any home collection (in your opinion).

Here’s my list (and yeah, I actually own them):

1.Gladiator
2.Braveheart
3.Home Alone
4.The Matrix
5.The Alien series (1, 2, 3, and 4)

I could easily throw Lord of the Rings or Star Wars into this mix too, but I'll leave the rest of the picks up to you guys.
