New York Dolls — unrecognizable. They didn't even give me 25% of what they brought last year when I first saw them. The stage sound was an absolute disaster—they just looked pathetic, exhausted, and totally checked out 😢
Sonic Youth — the whole reason I showed up. Left feeling incredibly happy—easily in my top 3 concerts of all time 🙏
Banco de Gaia — felt like a total fish out of water. Spent about 6 minutes pretending to be an interested partygoer before I realized 🙂

The cooperative was absolute chaos and totally in sync, though a bit loud because their sound setup was acting up—but honestly, after being away from live music for so long, it was totally worth it 👍

I was totally broke—seriously, down to my last few bucks—but I couldn't just sit there while my buddy was starving. So, I bit the bullet and bought him a ticket: :rokfeler:
