I’m dealing with shipping a pair of sneakers for the first time, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get them sent off without breaking the bank.
Is it actually okay if I just use the original shoe box they came in, seal it up tight with some heavy-duty tape so it doesn't pop open, and then just stick a label with the recipient's info on the outside?
Or am I strictly required to use one of those official HP boxes?

I picked mine up today—used my ID and everything—and I noticed there isn't any indication on the receipt at all. It doesn't specify that it was purchased at a discount, which is interesting, because it wasn't noted like that in previous years either.
