Listen here, you little wannabe hipster... for me, denim jeans simply DO NOT EXIST! It’s a hard no. Or rather, until I actually stepped into Miss Selfridge—then I was hooked. 😍
Miss Selfridge cuts their waistlines way too low. I absolutely hate that for winter because my lower back ends up totally exposed, and then I deal with a massive chill. 🙄 I went through a massive hunt for the perfect pair of jeans myself. Big Star, Levi's, Mustang, GAS... everything was a disaster. Either the fits were bizarre or the fabric felt incredibly cheap and thin. Eventually, I tracked some down at Lee Cooper. The cut was solid, but I really wanted something in a brighter wash. But damn, those were the only ones available, and I didn't have the time to trek all the way out to Chicago or Los Angeles. My sister always manages to find the best pairs. Luckily we wear the same size, so we end up swapping them constantly.
Well, I finally watched it! But honestly, I had to leave my common sense and logic at the door😁 just so I could fully surrender to the big screen. And let me tell you, the movie was fantastic! The visuals were stunning, the music was incredible—everything was top-notch. Plus, Eric Bana is incredibly hot! 🙏 And Brad is pretty easy on the eyes too. Like someone else already pointed out—if I actually want to think or use my brain, I’ll just pick up a book.
When I can't even manage to get a tan. Honestly, it’s more embarrassing to spend the whole summer looking this pale. I need to sit back and think about whether things are just going to keep breaking like this. I wish they'd just release the update already so we could be done with it.
Peter Taylor63 said:Exactly. We're talking about tanning beds specifically. It doesn't matter how little time you spend under them; the whole concept is inherently harmful. But hey, if someone wants to risk it, that's their business...😁
Ever since I read that, I haven't been able to relax in a tanning salon. I went this morning, but honestly? I couldn't stop thinking about skin cancer.
Even just getting a heavy dose of sunlight during an outdoor event can be pretty damaging. I honestly don't think anything is worth overdoing, and that goes for tanning beds too. Anyway, maybe I'll be regretting this decision in a few years...

One woman actually got burned inside one of the beds.😲 😱 Most people barely managed to scramble out naked before the whole damn place went up in flames. 😢
For the next six months, I was obsessively checking if the plastic casing on my equipment was sturdy enough, and honestly? I started packing my gym clothes in a way where I could just grab them and bolt if things went south.😁
I had a dream last night that the exact tanning bed I was using caught fire, and we barely managed to pull a friend out of there before she was cooked.😲
Nicole Lopez26 said:I assume the color lasts about as long as a natural tan. I think it all comes down to your skin type. I know one girl who went maybe fifteen times and you could barely even tell she had a tan, whereas another girl went just once and looked perfectly bronzed right away... 🙂
Unfortunately for me, I’m going to have to rely on a spray tan just to look alive. I don't tan at all in the sun—I either stay pale or just end up with a nasty sunburn.
I didn't have much to show for my shower. 😁 Honestly, I feel like this whole process is going to drag on forever until I finally manage to grab a decent shade. That said, I’m not planning on overdoing it—I’m thinking maybe twice a week for about three weeks. But the real question is, how long does that color actually stick?
So, I decided to try out a tanning salon for the very first time today. I only stayed in for about 10 minutes. Since I have naturally fair skin and don't tan easily, I didn't want to overdo it right out of the gate. The setup itself was decent enough, but they failed to provide me with eye protection—which is honestly pretty sketchy. On the plus side, the AC was pumping, so it wasn't sweltering inside. One thing though: I hopped in the shower about half an hour after I finished. Is that actually a bad idea?
He’s a charming guy, I'll give him that. But as far as acting goes? He feels more like a character actor suited for smaller roles. In The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean, Depp completely stole the show from him.
I always find myself wondering the same thing—why on earth don't they just pull out a gun? 😕 But let’s be honest, you have to admit there’s something much more magnetic and cinematic about watching a woman handle herself in hand-to-hand combat. I didn't catch the very beginning of the series, though, so can someone catch me up? How exactly did she end up becoming an agent?

Aha. And let's be honest, he's sexy. I've always preferred guys with that edge over those "pretty boy" types. His earlier work wasn't really my thing, but ever since he started playing the bad guy, he's become way more attractive.
