Fine, 👍
you've got your blue print for this 😂
just one more thing before I head off-topic: you aren't a kid anymore, so how many times have you actually wished you could unlearn certain "little details"? 😬

Nah, and it definitely wasn't because of his incredible intellect... 😬

Ergo, Boljkovac isn't a war criminal, even if all those murders were indeed crimes and even if he is objectively responsible for them.

Fine, it wasn't a war, 😁but does anyone actually remember why this gentleman earned the nickname "The Shovel"?😬

Gary, if I ever run into you, you're buying the drinks.😂
The point is, this whole thing is just a pathetic attempt to make something out of nothing because you've got nothing better to do with your time.🙂

The fishing tournament sabotage over in Oprisavac 😁

😂If they’d tried that stunt in a small town in rural America, I bet there would have been three more worms floating in the water pretty damn quick. 😂😬
Ford in the USA? in Close to Politics ·
Richard Wilson4 said:Ford isn't exactly General Motors, but hey, $1000 it's a decent paycheck considering how bad unemployment is. The real issue is that most folks would rather just sit around on government handouts.

That's nonsense. $3,000 isn't a good wage for a skilled worker.
Why? Because it doesn't even cover basic survival.
I don't care how much neoliberal propaganda you've swallowed. ☕
Amanda Diaz said:Sure, it’s a great salary if you're a cashier at Walmart. But for a skilled worker who actually knows how to do something—someone willing to keep learning and has the brains to actually pick up new skills—that pay is insulting.

I’m hiring at least 20 more people at my company tomorrow. I'm looking for qualified workers for standard 8-hour shifts, and I'll be offering $667. How many people do you honestly think are going to show up?

Maybe they will, if you aren't just trying to spite them by sending them back to their hometowns. 😁

Then it’s definitely a forum issue.😬

@adatar, if you aren't willing to swap out your antivirus, then an update or a clean reinstall of AVG along with an adblocker and Ghostery should fix your problems.

I'm using Google Chrome, and I even tried switching over to Chrome or Internet Explorer, but nothing works—it's the same story everywhere. I thought about digging into my AVG settings, but honestly, I'm hesitant. What if I disable the protection and end up letting a virus right through my front door? 😕

I actually had my kids run some scans on it; neither McAfee nor Norton flagged anything suspicious... and even Avast didn't find a thing on my machine.
McAfee occasionally acts a bit weird when it comes to tracking cookies. You might want to try installing Ghostery. Or just run an update on your antivirus. 🙂

I'll head over there specifically to check it out.
The spots near me by the Mississippi River aren't even worth a dip. It's more like a swamp.

Word is Milton Berle will fix it up one of these days, assuming he doesn't go broke first. 🙂

Savica 😍 might be a fisherman's paradise, 🙂 but you can't swim there because they have to leave all that silt on the bottom to protect the food chain. Honestly, I’d probably jump in there myself if there was a public cold water hose within about 200 meters.
Even though they regularly dredge the bottom at Central Park, the water still gets murky whenever it's crowded. That hasn't been an issue much lately, but Washington, D.C. residents (who used to actually swim in the Mississippi River back in the day) are now terrified of anything that isn't practically sterile. 😵
It's not like it's a huge deal to just hop under a shower after swimming or splashing around to wash off those "deadly" amounts (maybe 2-3 micrograms😉) of silt from your skin.
Plus, it’s great (at least for us guys) for catching some attention. 😍
I remember once while showering, I caught some envious looks from women in their 30s—they were staring straight at my chest. 🙂
They couldn't figure out how mine hadn't sagged yet, especially since I'm almost twenty years older than them. :facanakvadrat: 😎
Maria Booth96 said:It’s always summer, pretty much around the same time every single year.
I don't know, I think we could wrap this up way faster.
Look, I don't get it. If the outer lanes are backed up like a freeway during rush hour, why wouldn't they just open up the inner lanes too? It makes zero sense.
Simple and straightforward.🤷

Rivers, man-made lakes, even those little gravel pits—they’re easily the most dangerous spots if you're looking to go for a swim.
I'm an American, which is exactly why I've got their backs. 186 miles The beaches here aren't exactly filled with Olympic swimmers. Most people just paddle around in the shallows for a bit, splash around, and then head back to shore. You see plenty of women over 40 who can't really swim anything besides a basic breaststroke. Honestly, even the younger crowd struggles with it more often than you'd think.
The swimming area in that small town in the Midwest finally got fixed up, but it’s tiny and the mosquitoes are absolutely brutal. Honestly, the water quality just isn't there. It’s like trying to swim in a puddle when you're used to a real river; even a decent swimmer is going to struggle with this one.
Some people are probably gonna jump in and say we have no clue what else is floating around in that pool.😬)
I'll give you this one—you might actually be right.🤷

I’m a little embarrassed to admit it, but I never actually went skinny dipping in Central Park during my twenties in Washington, D.C.🙈🙈I guess you could say I'm training for swimming. I hit the local pool every other day.
One more time.🙈

Is it actually clean enough?

I remember swimming at Central Park back when it was nothing more than a literal dirt patch. 🙂
Man, he almost sliced himself wide open from his chest down to his groin on that metal sheet while jumping into the water. Almost lost everything right there. 😂
That was a lifetime ago...

How clean it is? You’ll have to judge that for yourself—after all, it's the water you're drinking.
Look, the environment can only be kept so clean. The people working out there aren't magicians, and let's be honest—Washington, D.C. residents haven't exactly set the gold standard when it comes to actually taking care of the surroundings they enjoy. 😳
Donna James5 said:Last summer, I spent some time at the waterfront in Columbus, and despite my inherent skepticism toward freshwater—a common affliction for someone raised by the ocean—I found nothing to complain about. The river there is remarkably clean, and the recreational area is quite well-maintained. If I resided there, I certainly wouldn't feel the need to resort to a swimming pool.
As for the river, it is what it is; it will never rival the pristine quality of the Mrežnica or the Dobra, yet in my estimation, it remains a far superior choice to any pool.
During my time in Washington, D.C., I visited a public pool once, and I can assure you it won't be happening again. Central Park, while perhaps not perfect, is incomparably better than a pool.

Especially if you show up around 6:00 AM. At that hour, you basically own the whole park. 🙂
I’ve never been much for sitting out in the blistering sun grilling food, so I usually head down early to find a spot in the shade or hit up a local pub for a beer or a soda.
That’s one of the reasons I never manage to get a decent summer tan. 😁

If we’re using actual ICBM terminology, you’re basically at the level of ranting about 😬nothing

On top of that, the warhead can maneuver to dodge and confuse defense systems.

Linda Roberts2 said:The whole doctrine surrounding nuclear warfare really shifted once the Cold War wrapped up. Originally, the strategy was all about targeting major hubs like Moscow or London, but that idea was pretty much scrapped because the casualties on both sides would have been catastrophic. Plus, you’ve only got about a ten-minute window to find cover. Because of that, the focus has shifted toward hitting NATO allies and Russian territory—specifically targeting military bases within those countries. Beyond just the bases, having a solid missile defense shield is a huge factor in how that conflict might actually play out.

I see someone graduated summa cum laude from the peyote academy. 🙏
The second any ICBM is launched, it’s detected almost instantly. Response protocols include everything from interceptor missiles to immediate retaliatory strikes.
By the way,

most ICBMs follow a pretty similar flight pattern.

>Launch phase - takes between 3 to 5 minutes (faster for solid fuel, slower for liquid); by the end of this stage, the missile hits an altitude of 150 to 249 miles and reaches speeds of roughly 7,000 m/s.
>Flight phase - lasts about 25 minutes, during which the missile follows a suborbital elliptical trajectory. The apogee sits at roughly 1,200 km, with the major axis of the ellipse ranging between 3,186 and 4.0 miles. This allows the missile to intersect its target point on Earth. During this stage, the projectile can deploy multiple warheads, decoys, radar jammers, or other countermeasures.
>Re-entry phase - the final stage lasting about 2 minutes. Here, the warhead slams down onto its target at speeds of approximately 2.5 miles/s (early ICBMs were much slower, under 1 km/s). During this descent, the warhead can actually maneuver to dodge and confuse defense systems.

Obviously, I won't mention how America is simply not worth the effort for these kinds of missiles, nor will I mention that the Americans would probably just laugh in our faces if we tried to flex like that.

Harold Harris5 said:If things ever get messy, the safest bet would be heading deep into the hills of Northern California...

🙂 absolutely not...
Based on the military doctrine the OP was trying to explain, those would actually be some of the most dangerous places in the entire country.
If we accept the fact that Russia genuinely wants to hit Americans by attacking countries where both sides are trading missile fire, then following that same logic, an attack on America would target sparsely populated areas that lack any significant military or police presence to offer even basic resistance.
By that same logic, Chicago would probably be the safest place in the country. 🙂

It makes sense, if you've spent your time studying military strategy at the Peyote Academy. 😍
