Can someone give me a quick TL;DR of the original post? Just so people on Reddit who aren't exactly geniuses—like myself—can actually wrap their heads around it. 🙂

Can't you see the icon (trokutić sos uskLJičnik 😁) in the message? It's the exact same one you see in the bottom left corner of the post, right next to the eye doctor icon. 🙂

Can one of the admins take a look at this when there's a free second?
Thanks. 🙂

To cut to the chase, I’m the one who got fed up with the absolute nonsense in your post. I reacted the way I did because it was justified, which is why I "earned" a warning for insults, only to face a direct threat from you in your very next post. In case you weren't aware, site admins can still see deleted posts.
If any of the supermods or admins think my warning needs to be upgraded, go ahead and do it. As for my "reputation," 🤣🙏 as a user here, I don't stand for anyone, and honestly, I haven't noticed a single thing change in the last few days since I stopped posting there. No one—not even the mods—has put me on a blacklist, and nobody has even blinked or stopped messing around because of it.

Don't be difficult. Just log out and you can read whatever the hell you want.
Whining about needing a new account isn't exactly the smartest way to ask for help downloading a partition. You're asking for a favor here, so acting entitled isn't a great look.

Look, it doesn't say anywhere that you have to take my advice. If you don't like it, just pretend you didn't see it. 🙂

Same goes for any bank teller trying to shove some random survey down my throat...
Just curious what legal ground they'd even have to shut me down... they've been taking my money for decades without an issue...

They'll use the authority granted to them by the federal government. Your only move is to file a lawsuit for attempting to exploit legally protected private data for marketing purposes. The more people who step up and sue, the faster these banks will stop this arrogant, blatant bullshit.
Nosy banks in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Not even close...

Banks are obligated to clearly separate the actual questions we are legally entitled to an answer for from those just meant for marketing fluff. Until they fix this, NOBODY in the entire American financial sector is required to answer a single thing, and any attempt at these "surveys" is basically a legal violation.
Insults - Zuckerberg in Feedback & Suggestions ·
As I recall, some ladies over at Zuckerberg’s place were asking for a bit more leeway with personal expression and maybe even a little chick fight once in a while. Beyond that, we have the mod team to step in and enforce (not 😁randomly) the rules when things go too far.
Now, most of what’s being complained about should be scrapped immediately. It’s clearly just there to coddle the hypersensitive feelings of a handful of people who can't handle a bit of banter within the group and don't know how to take a joke.
So, what's the fix? Do we appoint some new moral authority—in which case, just for the hell of it, I’ll start demanding that every woman planning to post on this site provides official proof that she wears a hijab 😁? Or is the solution to actually adapt to the society you choose to live in, rather than demanding that society bends to your every whim? Alternatively, you could just find a community that thinks and acts in a way that respects the original intent of the topic. I'll leave that judgment call up to the OP.

goldenstag15 said:In other words, I just proved to you that only one out of a hundred families actually got hit with those charges, even though you were insisting otherwise. So go ahead and spin it however you want—you claimed they were hiking up costs for everyone, but that’s just plain false.

🤔 Do you seriously believe that living wall actually helped anyone?
😵 My bad. I realized too late that I was trying to have a rational conversation with a believer. Faith and facts don't always play nice together, and they certainly don't have to. 😵

A believer? What kind of believer are we even talking about here?
The fact is, the Dukić/Družinec family is still living in their apartment. And if that illegal RBA cooperative even tries to pull an eviction stunt again, the Living Wall will step up to defend them. Those are the facts. You can keep rambling on about "faith" or how they haven't helped anyone, but it doesn't change reality.

That still doesn't change the fact that those costs aren't going away. We both know they're eventually going to come due.
Let’s be real: there is no way in hell a bank is just going to wave a magic wand and waive those extra fees when someone tries to legally claim ownership of a property. They aren't running a charity here.

A believer? Give me a break. What kind of "believer" are we even talking about?

Does the word "zealot" sound familiar to anyone else? 😒
The fact is, the Dukić/Družinec family is still living in their apartment. Even if that illegal RBA cooperative tries to pull an eviction stunt again, Living Wall will be right there to defend them. Those are the facts. You can keep rambling on about religious beliefs or how they haven't helped anyone, but it doesn't change reality.

🤔 The only real nonsense I see on this board comes from those supporters of the living wall. It’s a rare misfortune, but every once in a while, I have to wade through a massive pile of stupidity that people actually try to pass off as facts.

Taylor Swift:
You've got it wrong... this isn't about me. It's about these self-appointed "saviors" who supposedly saved... who, exactly?!
And (as usual) you missed the point entirely. I wasn't throwing out solutions; I was suggesting a course of action so they might actually start looking like an organization that wants to help people instead of just feeding their own egos.
If you had been at even one eviction, you'd see it has nothing to do with self-promotion. At the last family eviction near the Holy Spirit church, I saw firsthand how happy those people were because people actually stood up for them. I overheard a conversation between Mr. John Doe and a friend of his where the guy said, "Look, we've got your back, we'll defend your home," and Mr. John Doe, looking hopeful, replied, "You think so? I really hope so..." Now, if you honestly believe that people getting to stay in their homes is just someone's way of seeking attention, or that defending them from an illegal housing cooperative is somehow wrong, then you're a total troll. I rest my case.

In other words, you won't mind if I hold you to your word once those next service fees hit your account, right? 🙂

Taylor Swift:
If you had actually been out on any of these evictions, you’d see this isn't about self-promotion. On the last one involving a family near the local cathedral, I saw firsthand how happy people were just because the community stepped up for them. I personally overheard John Doe talking to a friend who told him, "Look, we've got your back, we'll help you save your home," and John Doe, looking genuinely hopeful, just replied, "You really think so? I hope so..." If you honestly believe that helping people stay in their homes is just someone's PR stunt, or that defending them against some shady predatory lending scheme is wrong, then you're a complete troll. I rest my case.
🤔 Do you seriously believe that Living Wall has helped anyone?
😵 My bad. It took me a second to realize I was trying to have a rational debate with a true believer, and let's face it—faith and facts don't always play nice together. 😵

@Sophia Moore52, the only way to actually get results is for everyone trapped in these predatory loan cycles to band together, walk into the banks, hand them the keys, and say, "Here's the property, now you can deal with the debt yourselves."
Maybe I didn't use the most polite wording, (even though 😬) but I hope you caught my drift.
Living Wall (just like whoever happens to be in power) plays the populist game. The only thing they actually do to try and help is what I call "firefighting"—trying to assist those who have absolutely nowhere else to go. But since "that's what social services handle," they couldn't care less about the people who are actually struggling.
goldenstag15 said:Living Wall isn't a social services agency tasked with finding housing. That's what the Department of Social Services is for, right?
I actually signed up just to tell you you're lying. In four years of operation, there has been ONE SINGLE family that got billed the way you're claiming, while they've prevented way more evictions than that. So quit trolling and saying Living Wall is racking up costs for people, because it’s just plain false!

Exactly. That "Living Wall" group cares way more about their own PR than actually helping anyone. Providing real support? Never heard of them.
Taylor Swift:
I actually registered just to tell you that you're lying. In the four years this thing has been running, exactly ONE family has ever seen the bill you're talking about, and we've stopped way more deportations than that. So quit trolling and claiming the border wall is driving up costs for everyday people—it’s just flat-out false.
Am I lying?
You can probably prove that too, if you want. I'm waiting. 🙂
Don't make me laugh when you bring up those prevented deportations. Every single one of them is a joke. Delayed..

Sophia Moore52 said:That's not right... the living wall has its own way of helping, and it works. If you think you have a better idea for housing, then go ahead and organize that kind of support yourself instead of trying to dictate solutions that should be handled by others, or as you put it, just spinning your wheels...

You've got it wrong. This isn't about me. It's about these self-appointed "super-saviors" who claim they stepped up to save everyone. So, let's be real for a second—who exactly did they save?
Look, you clearly missed the point. As usual. I wasn't out here throwing random solutions at the wall just to see what sticks. I was laying out a roadmap—a way for them to actually start acting like a legitimate non-profit that cares about helping people, rather than just some self-serving outfit obsessed with their own PR.
Ryan Carter3 said:They didn't add anything to the burden. There was no eviction because a massive crowd of citizens stepped in to prevent it. If there is no eviction, there are no eviction costs. This family reached out to Living Wall for help because they have two small children—practically infants—and nowhere else to go this winter. They've exhausted every single option available to them. People traveled from all over the United States, organizing themselves and arriving by bus just to stand with them.

And once again, the riot police will show up.

And once again, the people will gather.

And once again, the riot police will show up.

And once again, the people will gather.

No matter how many times it takes.

But where will you go?
Where exactly are you going to hide from your own conscience?
There is nowhere to run!

Google, just so you know, sending the police on a call like that isn't free, and the bill will eventually be sent to the "rescued" family. If Living Wall actually wanted to help instead of just chasing clout, they would have tried (and likely already succeeded) to find actual housing for that family until they can get back on their feet.

Taylor Swift:
And the SWAT teams will just show up again.
And another bill handed to the "survivors."

Taylor Swift:
And the SWAT teams will just show up again.
And another bill handed to the "survivors."

Taylor Swift:
Whatever it takes.
Sure, because Living Wall isn't the one paying for it. It's easy to act tough when you're using someone else's resources.

Taylor Swift:
So where are you going to go?
Where are you going to hide from your own conscience?
You've got nowhere to go!
My conscience is clear; you should probably check yours. Supporting the push to drive an already impoverished family even deeper into debt slavery is inexcusable. If you don't know how to help, then stay out of it, least of all by being part of the crowd of assholes who are willing to step over anyone just to get some attention.
Ryan Carter3 said:This one was already conducted under police protection.
And yet, once again, the people will gather in the streets.

I have to wonder, just how much is your conscience worth?

Basically, the living wall just handed the "survivors" a little extra debt to deal with. 😒>
Fucking "helpers," my ass. 🙏🙏

How much is your conscience worth?

Clearly a lot more than the conscience of those hypocrites with their double standards. 🍿>
Ryan Carter3 said:What kind of evictions are we even talking about here? Are you referring to a failed attempt at an eviction? Because they gave up on that entirely. There is no eviction happening, so there certainly aren't any costs associated with one.

Why don't you go off somewhere else and try to find typos in the next sentence: How much is your conscience and humanity actually worth?

The next relocation is going to be under police escort. Is the local community actually going to foot the bill for this instead of the "rescued" family? Or is the government just going to ignore the costs like they always do?

Go ahead, try finding the typos in this sentence: How much does your conscience and humanity cost?

It’s pretty rich when someone starts lecturing me about conscience and humanity, especially when they can't even handle an actual argument. Instead of addressing my points, they just resort to cheap personal attacks. Real classy.
Ever heard the term "double standard"? Because it seems like everyone else in this country has forgotten what it means. 😒

edit: obviously I'm joking. Honestly, looking at the current mess, nobody could possibly be worse than what we have now, so he’s basically the most logical choice out there🥳

That’s what I’m talking about! 👍

Just how much is your conscience worth?

Either you’re lying through your teeth, or the Living Wall decided to foot the bill for those delayed evictions.
Which one is it?

How much does your conscience cost?

🤔 Since we're on the subject, how much is yours worth?
It's a pathetic attempt at an ad hominem attack because you clearly don't have a single actual argument left to make. 😒
Ryan Carter3 said:The family reached out for help themselves because they have absolutely no other options—they have nowhere else to go with their children.

Even if we ignore the fact that the eviction wasn't actually stopped, just delayed, I still haven't seen you answer my question about how much this "rescued" family actually cost taxpayers.
Are you trying to imply that the local government isn't being transparent about the spending here?
Ryan Carter3 said:Another eviction attempt successfully thwarted today!

Rot in hell, you haters!

Honestly, we should just build a dedicated asylum for people like you, so you can sit around endlessly debating Karl Marx, capitalism, and the endless spectrum of left versus right; we could just hang a sign over the door that says "Mental Institution" and call it a day.

So you're saying an eviction was "successfully blocked"?
How much is that "saved" family actually going to cost us?
If you're going to act like you're providing info, at least try to be thorough.
🤦 Look, Prangijo, that’s just a wish list. None of those idiots over at the Department of Transportation have the slightest clue how to actually make it happen.
Saying "I want it" doesn't mean squat.
Ryan Carter3 said:Just head over to the site and count the number of prevented layoffs for yourself if you're so skeptical.

And do they mention how those exact same people ended up getting screwed over later by the very people who "saved" them? 😒
