Hehe, what can you do... we'll see. Let's go Portland under. Now you suggest a single play and we'll run it—on the condition that I get a say too, since you were the one who picked Portland.
We'll send the proof via DM.

Proof? What the hell do we need proof for?🤣 We just call it and play. I bet what I say—we aren't hiding anything here...
Portland, hmm, isn't my first choice. Last time they screwed me over on the under because they dropped about 15 threes on Sacramento. Personally, I’d take Washington +9.5/over 100.5 and Brooklyn Nets +8.5. I'll probably just hit 3 or 4 plays with a smaller stake.

Get any info yet?
Looks like Augustin is playing.

All these veterans are sitting out the final games, so predictions are basically guesswork right now.😁

What's actually playing tonight at the end of the day? 🙄
"The odds are bad," yet you guys pulled out enough options that I don't even know what to pick. 🤷

Obviously. I was just replying to my buddy about the x option.
Waiting on graniteotter6 to confirm our "hunches"—he'll probably chime in in about 20 minutes. If not, I'm dropping my first three picks.😁
What looks like a winner to you?

Mark Williams15 said:say you have 10 games and one should be an x—you put down maybe a hundred bucks per game and walk away with a decent profit if the odds hit 15
if there are fewer games that day, then you just play every game for a few days straight

🙂

Man, with a strategy like that, you'd struggle just to break even.🙂
Wouldn't it be better to just hit three bets at 1.85 every single day?😉
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Mark Williams15 said:The NBA should just be played against the favorites—because half the time you look back, some underdog pulled an upset, and those are the odds you want, like 3, 4, or 5
or betting on a tie with odds around 14 or 15.

Fine then—just bet the tie every single time and crank up the stake. When you've got 10+ games on the slate in a day, you'll eventually stumble onto a draw somewhere.😉

Everyone’s playing this "they have to act now, they have to act right now" logic game. Newsflash—they don't.😁

Do the Bobcats have to just go all-in on one big play?🤣
So, what are the two of us supposed to do now? You gonna filter this shit out or what?
The odds over at FanDuel are getting absolutely ridiculous—on Indy vs. Detroit, they just jumped to the Memphis handicap at 12.5?! Whatever. I have to get my bets in by noon anyway. I’ll probably just throw some cash down at South Station and see what happens.😁
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
The spread on Washington just dropped to 9.5🤷, while the Spurs jumped up to 13.5! Or was it already that high—was I looking at different US betting sites earlier?

James Taylor3 said:Yeah, maybe the Nets can sneak a win and finally say goodbye to that arena they hate (http://www.netsdaily.com/2012/1/21/2...dential-center). Philly definitely wants to dodge Miami, and I don't see Milwaukee sweeping all three games and ruining everyone's plans.

And even if they do win, they've got Detroit at home for the finale. But there's no way they win that—they're playing in Boston for their last away game instead.
They could probably cover the spread, even if they don't pull off the outright win. But those 4.60 odds? Too much juice...🤣

graniteotter6 said:And there it is—total blowout. You ended up with a glorified exhibition game. Who knows what happens next? Nothing. Honestly, I would’ve played the over instead of the under on that one.

Yeah, you're right, but that's just how most teams play toward the end of the season. It was the same deal with Detroit last night—they stayed under 150! In my opinion, Detroit isn't even capable of hitting 90 points in a game like this.

graniteotter6 said:Looks like we're gonna take a hit—we're thinking too much alike, and that's never good for us bettors because it always ends up working against us. 😁

Well, it's not good.🤣 But hey, we agreed on the Hornets yesterday and that was an easy win.😉
We have to take some risks sometimes, but I'm not talking about going all in on everything.😁 We need to filter through the noise once more info drops.😁

graniteotter6 said:Look, I'm fine with your take on the players—that part is okay—but you’re totally tripping up when it comes to the bolded section.
You have to play this RIGHT NOW. This is the window—take it. Bookies are making massive, fundamental mistakes right now—margins are off by at least 7 to 10 points. It’s a total gift.

I’m with you on this one. Honestly, even betting the under on individual players isn't a bad move—provided their teams have already locked in a playoff spot or if you're looking at the overs for guys on those bottom-tier squads. My only gripe is that there's zero action on players from the real basement dwellers. I remember last year toward the end of the season, you could actually put some real money on those types of props. Not seeing much of that now.

[User Profile: vodkamartini007] kaže:
Alright, after looking at the numbers—I’m sticking with the -13.5 handicap on Cleveland. Of course they crushed him down to 1.75. Typical.

I missed Washington over 100.5—how the hell did that slip past me?! The line for Charlotte was way too low, but I had them tucked away in my "worth a shot" pile. Look, the Wizards have been getting bullied at home by teams way better than them lately, and honestly? They’re usually much tougher, sharper, and more physical when they play on their own court.

The Grizzlies are still in the hunt for that 4th seed and they’ve got home-court advantage on their side—so honestly, I don't see them playing games with the lineup. They'll probably sit Randolph again to keep him fresh for the playoffs—his stamina is their biggest weapon—and if he's out, I doubt Gay is stepping up much either. Cleveland actually looked decent last night, given the circumstances in San Antonio—playing without Duncan and with Parker and Ginobili seeing limited minutes. But let's be real: we saw exactly what kind of team they are when they were getting blown out by Detroit by 50 points! Memphis is the type of squad that can absolutely dismantle a team like that in a single quarter—though, frankly, I’m worried today might not go according to plan. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to take... Staying under 190.5. I don't even know where to start with this. Just... nothing. Absolutely nothing. Gay, over 18.5.He’s looking sharp—in great shape, actually—plus Randolph is sitting this one out.
Regarding... Washington’s going over 100.5—period.Honestly, that looks like a better bet to me—especially when you consider who we're actually dealing with on the other side.🤣 And hey, like I said—the Wizards look a hell of a lot better at home. Booker’s back in the lineup too, even if Wall is still a total question mark. Personally? I'm seeing a massive spread for the home team here. Washington -10.5. Don't get cute with these spreads..

And for the rest:
Indiana-Detroit under 191.5 — simple enough. Let's see if they actually pull it off.
Indiana already locked up that 3rd seed, so I’m betting they’ll give some of their starters a breather today—which means their offensive rhythm might be a bit off. On the flip side, Detroit’s offense is pretty lackluster; we've seen them struggle to even hit the 70-point mark lately (they did it at home just yesterday). Honestly, this line feels way too high for me.
UPDATE: Granger, Hibbert, and Hill are out of the starting lineup!

Milwaukee-Toronto under 201.5.
The Bucks are basically out of the playoff hunt at this point. Meanwhile, Toronto—even without their main guys lately—has been playing surprisingly solid defense. If that keeps the Bucks capped around the 100-point mark, the under should be an easy play here.

And just like that—New Jersey to Philly. Done.
This one hits different—it’s the last time the Nets ever play in Newark after 35 years. Between all the trips down memory lane and honoring the club's legends, there’s going to be some serious emotional weight in that arena. Honestly? The Nets players won't need any extra coaching to find their motivation tonight—they'll be playing for something much bigger than just a win.
Philly has basically locked in their playoff spot—they’d need to lose all three while the Bucks win all three just to be out—and they’ve got both the Bucks and Pistons at home. Plus, let's be real, they want that 8th seed. It's almost a guarantee for them to face the Bulls, who are a much better matchup than Heat. They haven't exactly been playing lights-out lately, though.
New Jersey took two out of three from them this year (both on the road). Twice the Nets went over the 89.5 line, and in the one they lost at home, they put up 88.
In my book, that 1.20 price on Philly is total garbage.🤷 Sure, the Nets are without Williams, but the context of this game and the Sixers' situation in the East tells a different story. I don't see the Nets having any trouble covering the spread, and probably hitting the over too. So:
Nets +8.5 / Over 89.5 (even though the Nets +8.5 jumped to 2.00🤷)

What are we doing with our Bobcats under 90.5?😂
Doesn't look like they have it in them to go over.

Portland is missing Felton and Przybilla, maybe even Batum and Crawford too. And since the Spurs are likely going to rest their "old guys," I'm calling it now:Portland under 96.5. Honestly, probably also San Antonio -12.5. Remember when Portland was +40? The Spurs haven't forgotten...🙂

The board actually looks pretty solid today.😁😁
But something about these matchups is bugging me.🤣
Confirm one of these and let's cash!😁

Finally—something actually happened.🙏
Thanks for that pick, stormyseal9 and graniteotter6.👍

graniteotter6 said:I already said Golden State was worth looking into.☕

I was literally mid-flight when they were up by 15 in the first quarter—now I check the score and they’ve blown it. Unbelievable.😁
You smelled that one coming.👍 That whole thing went up in flames a long time ago.
I didn't expect Houston to fall apart that badly in the final stretch—but honestly, it's obvious they know their season is already dead in the water.

-----
It’s a damn shame ESPN didn't pick up the Nets game tonight. This is probably the last time the NBA actually gives a damn about Drazen...

lonedrifter68 said:The main under is looking solid—Charlotte at 95.5🤣

Like I said this morning—the second I saw this line, I just lost it laughing. 🤣

And then later, seeing they set the Kings at -4.5? Just ridiculous. 🤦

If the spread wasn't this massive, I might actually believe they couldn't cover, but with it being this wide? This is gonna be a bloodbath...

Detroit vs. Toronto was 29-34 at halftime!😂 🙏

EDIT: Miami barely scraped the under at the end 🤣—didn't look like it would go that way with 31 points in the final stretch.
And the Bobcats under? No question there. Plus, they dropped that 4.5 handicap on the Kings. 😂
This team is an absolute disgrace to the league. Honestly, someone needs to tell Jordan to stay far away from basketball—go shoot some clay pigeons or something. This is painful to watch...

Now just waiting on the New Orleans over...

There was. I saw it myself. Right there by the +18 line in Oklahoma.

As for the Heat, who knows—I probably would’ve called the under before this started...
And Miami isn't about to drop two straight at home...

Terrible start for Miami. Looks like they've already accepted second place in the East...

The Bobcats finally woke up—after dropping 13 points in 10 minutes, they just dropped 15 in 5.🙂
But man, their interior defense is non-existent.😂

If there were live betting on a Lakers win...🤣
At least 10 bucks. This is what happens when Harden plays OKC. They've been lucky all season because nobody’s ended up on the injury list...
Westbrick is a disaster—3/22!😂
And don't even get me started on this guy Hill!😁 The Lakers deserve an award for their trades. Bringing in Hill for some washed-up version of Fisher. And Sessions for those two measly minutes where he didn't even touch the court. I have no idea how they pulled that off...🤷

Eric Fox7 said:I was waiting on the over for Kobe and Durant—Durant was easy money, but Kobe barely scraped by, yet the over 😁

So you definitely had a massive stroke of luck tonight.

edit: and boom, here comes OT 😁

That's what you call pure luck!👍

Not happening for me.😁😁

EDIT: Actually, Kobe's got 18, not 21! Though he’ll probably still find a way to hit that over.

swiftcrane823 said:Are Wade and Bosh definitely out?? 98.5 for Miami feels way too high to me 🤷

Yeah. Houston's defense is a disaster—though I'm also leaning towards this game going under.

EDIT: Ended up taking the Miami under after all, even though I have a feeling it’s gonna be a shootout.😁

mellowhawk5 said:So I was catching the Rockets game on some random livestream last night.
But seriously—what’s the move? Rockets over 92.5 or just take the whole game over 190.5?

I'm riding with the Bobcatse, whatever happens.
As for the Heat, I'm stuck—honestly, I'd have said under before. This version of Miami isn't scoring much, and Houston is a mess after dropping 6 of their last 7. They aren't even looking at the playoffs anymore. Meanwhile, Miami can't afford another home loss back-to-back...
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Artest is a total joke!😠
If they’d just hand him a 10-game suspension now—maybe then we wouldn't have to deal with him in the first round of the playoffs...

EDIT: Bosh, Wade, and Chalmers are all out. On top of that, Lowry is done for the rest of the season.
Might actually pay off to take LeBron over someone else—and maybe Scolari too.🤷

Caught about three-quarters of it—Washington played well enough, even if Miami managed to stay within -2 by the end. Still, it was 🙂

Ha-ha, where were you watching this?! 🤣 I wasn't even watching the game—I just called it because the Heat's rotation outside of their "Big Three" is absolute garbage. Glad it worked out for you though! 👍 If Crawford had actually hit anything (he went 2/14) 🤣, it would've been over way sooner.

graniteotter6 said:one thing for the discussion:
Minnesota vs GSW over 206 should be a lock. It's a meaningless game with teams that just want to run. Also, the X2 on GSW looks massive to me. Is Love coming back?

I was checking one of those US sites that usually nails these things, and they're projecting a -10.5 handicap for the Wolves. So now I'm not so sure... 🤷 Obviously Love is playing, but the Warriors are likely still without Robinson, and their rotation is already thin as hell. I'd be careful with that one.

EDIT: Wright is also questionable, so GSW is basically in total chaos if that's the case.
As for Griffin and Paul, they're listed as "probable"—same as Gordon. Better wait on that.

They’re gonna show everyone that Miami is nothing without their big shooters—and even with one of them, they're toast.
I doubt they'll even crack 85...
