I caught this at the San Diego festival and, honestly, I’m still a bit stunned—it actually worked for me. There’s just this certain quality to it that leaves you feeling completely floored by the end. At least, that was my experience.

The settings in this one are actually quite fascinating.
To be honest, if I were expecting more from an Oscar nominee, I certainly was.
That said—it’s easily one of the better films I've sat through lately.

I’d definitely recommend giving it a watch.

Douglas Flores5,

You have received an infraction on Reddit.

Reason: Violation of forum rules (sub-forum etiquette)

Look, I’m being completely objective here—mostly because I’m just acting as an assistant—but if the rules state that commenting on moderation isn't allowed on these threads, then it simply isn't allowed.
Consider this a formal warning.

being a moderator means staying impartial and not letting your own biases run the show... if you want to vent your personal opinions by locking threads and deleting posts, then you should just go build your own website and host your own forum to do all that—not here. Let's be clear about that.
All the best,
Reddit

OH, GREAT—and it's sent to me by some big-shot socialite, Lady Gaga at that!
And all within the "Attention, attention!!! — LATEST NEWS, FRESH MODERATORS!!" thread.

AND NOW THEY GO AND DELETE MY POST TOO... UNBELIEVABLE.
Moulin Rouge! by Baz Luhrmann in Movies ·
I have to admit, I found it quite enjoyable to watch... the cinematography—the narrative structure—the acting... everything was executed with such genuine skill. It was truly well-crafted.
Moulin Rouge! by Baz Luhrmann in Movies ·
I honestly feel like way too many scenes were shot in a studio—it gives the whole movie this unrealistically staged vibe... though I can't exactly say I disliked it... far from it, actually... I think it’s a solid piece of work.
Dangerous fungi to watch out for in Health ·
Olivia Sanders83 said:During the winter months, I generally stick to boxers or briefs—but once summer rolls around, I prefer switching to thongs. I deal with frequent infections, though honestly, my symptoms haven't changed one bit since I made the switch to thongs.
Most of mine are perfectly comfortable, but I truly cannot fathom why women insist on buying thongs that are far too small—you know, the kind that actually dig into your skin!

I have to agree—there are certainly times when a thong is practically a necessity, even if I don't opt for them on a daily basis.

Medical professionals are issuing a formal advisory to women, suggesting they ditch the thongs in favor of standard briefs to protect their long-term health. This warning comes on the heels of an alarming spike in patients reporting genital inflammation.

Gynecologists argue that thongs can cause significant irritation to the delicate skin in the pelvic region—especially when they are undersized or crafted from low-quality synthetic fabrics. The primary culprit, according to experts, is the rear strip—the so-called "string."

Thomas Gent, a member of a prominent gynecological association in New York City who participated in the study, explained how these micro-abrasions can facilitate the spread of bacteria, potentially leading to fungal infections.

Statistically speaking, roughly every second woman under the age of 50 opts for a thong as her daily choice of attire.
