I know they’ve probably been asked a million times already, but this thread is absolutely massive and I honestly don't have the bandwidth to scroll through everything right now 😁, so I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me out 🙂 I'm 20 years old, and let's just say my current fitness level is... non-existent (:P). I'm standing just under 6'5" and I'm sitting at over 260 lbs right now 👎 My goal is to drop the extra weight, pack on some muscle, and pick up boxing—mostly just for fun, but also for a bit of self-defense. I'm wondering how much weight I should lose or how much shape I need to get into before I actually step into a boxing gym? Because right now, I'm basically useless—I can probably do exactly zero pushups 🙂
Just work out at home a bit jump around, run in place
Come hit a Krav Maga class at the local convention center if you're in the area you'll definitely drop a few pounds in the first month there

I’m looking for some recommendations on a reliable, trustworthy website to use. Also, for those who have bought gear online, how long did you end up waiting for the shipment to arrive? And what was the deal with customs and sales tax? Thanks.

Look, if you're thinking about starting BJJ, it's definitely not too late to compete...

you're thinking about guys way too much
swing by the Convention Center at Pavilion 25 (up the stairs) -- that's where they do the Krav Maga training
but watch out, there are plenty of guys there too... and sweaty ones at that

Now everyone blames Hamilton because he tried to dive inside with late braking... But Hamilton was shadowing Kimi just like he was in the chicane when they were side-by-side... He was faster... If he’d just let Kimi go right after that chicane, he would've been right on his tail again...
You're digging your own grave here
He should've made the move immediately. Doesn't matter if he would've overtaken him later or not
The whole issue is that he didn't let him through right then
Saw a few examples like that today. In every case, the guy cutting in missed whoever was right in front of him... doesn't Hamilton have to do that too?
