You have quite a few programs to choose from, so pick one that fits your needs...

"Recuva"
"R-Studio"

Angela Taylor39 said:I have already tried F1 and F2, but I haven't tried Delete yet. Thanks for the advice; I will let you know how it goes.

Are your F1 and F2 keys white or blue?

If they are blue, you will need to hold down the "Fn" key while pressing F1 or F2. 🤷

Try doing a quick Google search for previous questions on this topic before asking...

For example:

User A 1 2 3
User B 123
User C 1 4 6

User A 4 5 6
User B 2 5

The desired result would be:
User A 1 2 3 4 5 6
User B 123 2 5

Is there a specific function that handles this?

You should check this out here.

Laptop issues in IT Support ·
Laura Campbell63 said:The laptop stays on my desk most of the time, though I do spend quite a bit of time using it on the bed or in my lap.

I would suggest having someone professionally clean that machine. If you've been using it on a bed or in your lap for two years, there is bound to be dust buildup inside. If it continues to shut down after a cleaning, take it to a repair shop; since it’s under two years old, it should still be covered under warranty.

Just as a first step, have a technician blow out the dust and run some diagnostics.

Laura Campbell63 said:Thanks for the tips! Do you think this would fix my laptop's issue with sudden shutdowns?

It certainly could...

If you have someone nearby with a bit of technical know-how, the best move might be to take the laptop apart, clean it out properly, and perhaps replace the thermal paste...

It's hot outside right now, and laptops naturally run quite warm by design...

Where are you keeping the laptop? Make sure it isn't sitting on a bed or something similar.

Have you attempted to reinstall the drivers?

I suggest searching online for the complete driver and software package...

I'm not quite sure what the issue might be; it could be anything from worn-out rollers to a glitch in the electronics...
🤷

Didn't you get the software on the printer's disc that lets you check your remaining ink levels?

Are the drivers working properly? Is the USB cable plugged in securely? Does the computer recognize it?

In what specific way is it failing to respond?

Here’s a more budget-friendly option...
WIRELESS USB

As for why your phone or laptop won't connect at all while your desktop works fine, that really shouldn't be happening...

Benjamin King2 is right that having more users on one router can slow things down, but if you're just browsing, you shouldn't see a noticeable dip in speed on other devices...

Is it possible you have a torrent client running in the background that's hogging all your bandwidth?

I have a similar setup at my house: my PC is hardwired, while my brother uses his laptop via Wi-Fi and browses on his phone...

Everything runs smoothly for us. Even when I have a torrent active, my brother can still get online, though he definitely notices the speed drop immediately. Once the torrent is off, there are zero issues; the laptop, PC, and phone all work perfectly together without any lag...

I'd suggest checking your computer for any background programs that might be consuming all the network resources, which would prevent others from getting online while you stay connected...
Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
redowl32 said:Hello everyone!

I have a Dell Latitude laptop c660d-10l. Here are the specs:
Processor: Intel Core i3 single core
Memory: 2GB DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce Series (40 SM4.1 500MHz, 256MB 1GHz 32-BIT Integrated Graphics.

I am wondering if I can upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I should note that all the drivers for this laptop for Windows 7 64-bit are available on the Dell website. My main concern is the 2GB of RAM. Will the 64-bit version run smoothly?

I am not sure why it wouldn't work... it will work fine...

Besides, why are you pushing for 64-bit Windows?

Simply install Internet Download Manager, enable the advanced browser integration setting, and you can download as much as you want. 😁

Or, as it clearly states on their website:

Downloading movies is possible using a Chrome extension called Download Manager. This extension allows for a free movie download.
