Protopic cream in Health ·
Hey everyone! I have an unopened 60g tube of Protopic 0.1% that was originally prescribed for me, but since this specific treatment didn't really work for my skin, I don't have any use for it. To make a long story short, because the packaging is completely intact, I’m looking to sell it to recoup some of the money I spent. If you're interested, please shoot me a private message with an offer; I'll definitely give you a better deal than what you'd find at a local pharmacy.
Thanks! 🙂

I'm honestly pretty thrown off right now; I was picturing a completely different lineup. At this point, I have no idea what to expect anymore. It’s going to be one massive, chaotic mess. 😂😂😂

The simple fact that they picked this black sludge out of 122 different bands from 16 different countries says everything you need to know about Mary and her crew's taste in music. 🙄🙄🙄
Charles Wells11 said:I don’t want to start anything here, but I’ve been sending emails for the last couple of years. No replies, none of my suggestions ever get used, and I haven't even received a polite "thanks, we'll look into it," let alone a blunt rejection.

I’ve come to terms with the fact that this is just a massive machine and nobody is forcing me to show up, but honestly, I’d pay double if it meant seeing Grinderman.

Exactly! Even through the official forums, you could file complaints or ask questions and get answers from other community members, but there was never any sign of life from the organizers themselves. It's interesting how they shut down the forum this year—makes you wonder why.🤔
I just saw some chatter on Twitter suggesting that The Killers and Smash Hits might be joining the lineup for Coachella. It follows the same pattern we saw previously with Brooklyn.
The guy from Smash Hits is actually the same person who was in Queens.
Michelle Diaz14 said:Fine, then why don't you just email the organizers and file an actual complaint instead of clogging up this thread with hateful posts for weeks on end?

I think you're having a bit of trouble distinguishing constructive criticism from pure hating, and honestly, you seem to be missing the point of what spam actually is. This is a free platform. If our comments bother you that much, feel free to ignore this forum entirely, or go ahead and report us to the admin if you truly believe our posts fall under any of those specific categories. It’s funny how some people claim to be these enlightened, tolerant types who accept everything, yet they get so worked up over a few written opinions from individuals expressing their dissatisfaction on a public board. Anyway, thanks and take care!
Jesse Sanchez60 said:The thing about booking those massive headliners is that it’s not even about whether you want to take the risk anymore. It’s more about what kind of vibe you want for the event. Do you want a festival that basically turns into one big concert for a single superstar with a handful of cheap filler acts? Or do you want a festival that actually feels like a cohesive, logical lineup where everything makes sense together...

Personally, I think the second option is much better and smarter for the long haul. Eventually, the landscape for American festivals will probably shift so much that seeing names commanding $500k becomes the norm, but for now, I think everyone should just be happy we have this opportunity. Like I said, we’re getting to see incredible bands for relatively little money...

If you look back five years, you would have had to pay way more for a ticket like this, not to mention the extra cash needed for travel and hotels in a major European city. So, we just need patience. Things will settle into place eventually. Honestly, things are already way, way better than they were five or ten years ago. 🙂

I agree again... personally, I lean more toward the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, though I’d happily catch Terraneo if I ever get the chance. And I absolutely agree that audiences have become spoiled over the last five years! There is something else about Inmusic that bugs me, though... their arrogance and the way they treat their customers. For instance, you, Jesse Sanchez60, are all over the place and you don't mind answering a thousand different questions from fans on various forums. When you say you'll announce an artist, you actually do it, and people really appreciate that kind of transparency. But these guys... first, they present every single act coming out of their "dream factory" as this bombastic, once-in-a-lifetime miracle that we are lucky to hear—which, let's be honest, isn't always the case. Second, they drip-feed announcements without any logic, often lagging behind all the other major US festivals. They'll say "ticket info coming soon," and then nothing happens. They'll say "tickets go on sale in three months," and then the tickets aren't available for the entire month. Then there's the vague info regarding discounts and so on. I could go on forever.
Jesse Sanchez60 said:I’ve been staying quiet for a while now, but I can’t take it anymore...

Look, folks, please stop trying to compare the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to Terra Luna. It just doesn't make sense...

Both festivals have their own unique identity. They are completely different when you look at the concepts and the lineups, which means they both cater to different tastes and interests...

I assume you don't mean it literally when you say one will "completely destroy" the other, but even so, it sounds pretty harsh and none of us really talk like that—it’s actually quite the opposite...

I honestly don't get where all this negativity toward Coachella is coming from. You get to see a massive lineup of incredible bands for a relatively small amount of money—bands where you'd easily pay at least $45 just to see them play a solo show anywhere else in the States. If you love Arcade Fire and Grinderman but can't stand Jamiroquai or Cypress Hill, then just skip those sets. I truly don't see what the big deal is. 🤷

It’s not even that they lack the funds; it’s more like they’re just incapable of actually landing the talent. It feels like they overthink the math so much that they end up tripping at the finish line. I don't know, the lineups always seem a bit odd to me, but I usually find those two or three big names worth the ticket price—assuming they don't completely botch the scheduling, which, let's be honest, has happened before.
I honestly can't wrap my head around why Savage wasn't booked for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. If they're willing to play at Aquarius, what was the hold-up for the main fest? My guess is they were already locked in for those dates, so maybe the organizers just didn't reach out early enough...
As for M. Chao, I get the logic there—the guy wanted to stick to the smaller venues—but this? Man, what a mess!
Larry Morales12 said:I honestly hope Target wipes them out next year, or maybe even this one.

But why? What’s wrong with America having two massive festivals—one on the coast and one in the capital?

It strikes me as funny how Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just can't seem to balance their headliners with the rest of the lineup. It’s always either heavy hitters followed by absolute filler, or vice versa.
Just wait until they start announcing the contest winners. Last year, there were more than ever. Who knows what we're in for this time around. 🙄

☕I've been looking things over, and here is my take... we're likely still waiting on announcements for two more acts on the Lollapalooza Stage (including one headliner), two more for the Multicultural Stage (another headliner, though I wouldn't hold my breath...), about 7 or 8 contest winners, 4 guest acts plus 4 local DJs/sound systems for INbass and the Absolut Party Stage, and I suppose it’s worth mentioning the Silent Disco DJs.

So, that's pretty much all there is to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. I don't expect any more big surprises unless they suddenly announce a third day that makes no sense without a top-tier headliner to anchor it.

Man, it’s honestly frustrating when I think back to them trying to pull in acts like Arctic Monkeys, Manu Chao, or Skunk Anansie... they clearly put in the work to organize everything, but just couldn't lock those bookings down for the festival. I don't know. It feels like these organizers have such massive egos; instead of just admitting, "Hey, Skunk is busy that weekend, let's just take that budget and hire a truly powerhouse band that actually fits the dates," they struggle.

(Don't get me wrong, this news hits me even harder than the rest of the festival lineup, and I am genuinely stoked they're coming. I'll definitely be there!)

It's even more obvious when you look at that huge gap they have around the 21st and 22nd. Epic fail.

Larry Morales12 said:It doesn't necessarily mean they're playing the first day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They might show up on the second day, especially since they aren't performing at the Glastonbury Festival until the very last day, the 26th. Honestly, we probably won't know his set time until the organizers finally decide to post it. They haven't been updating their website or MySpace in ages.

That’s just how it works. If the date isn't confirmed, they usually just list the first day of the festival, though some more updated sites might list it as "June 21–22." Still, if you look at things from a scheduling balance perspective, it’s pretty reasonable to assume he'll play on day one.
Jose White23 said:That’s how I saw it too, but since the status of TV on the Wall is currently up in the air (which, honestly, I hope it is), and considering Arcad is nearby, plus Grinderman was just playing shows over in Canada, there might be some more news coming down the pipeline.

Actually, TVOTR isn't really an issue here. They had already started planning the rest of the tour even before the bassist's diagnosis. They only called off about five shows right after he passed away, mostly because the band needed time to grieve and handle the practical stuff, like the memorial service and everything.
Larry Morales12 said:The Overflow lineup is coming. I think I mentioned once before that they might show up since they just dropped a new album. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Hella is there too, since if I remember correctly, they haven't played this festival yet.

They haven't. But I don't think they will, either. To be honest, I don't think they’re particularly interested in that kind of gig because they can pack a stadium on their own. For instance, I remember when they played at Fenway Park—they actually turned down other shows despite the decent pay just because they didn't want to deal with the promotion tied to those other dates. It was more about principle than money. Also, given where they stand in the American music scene, I doubt they'd agree to play at 6 PM as an opening act for some random international band. If you ask me, I'd give them a co-headline slot on the main stage.
Forgive me... I just couldn't help myself...
