I was out there last year with my crew. We spent four days camping, and honestly? The campsite felt more packed and high-energy than the actual festival grounds.
Man, we get so defensive the second someone mentions they're from Washington, D.C.... I was just pointing out that they offer this incredible experience in the campgrounds that's free for everyone, whether you're staying in a tent or not. It’s like, if you aren't from the big city, they should roll out a tiny violin just for you since you have to deal with the camping life—but hey, if you're hanging with your buddies and having a blast, it's hard to complain anyway.
I honestly think it’s fantastic that campers will have access to swimming, sports, live music, and local sightseeing all within a single six-day trip. And the best part? It's all for just... wait for it...
$50
I’m actually feeling a little bit envious over here; since I don't camp, I won't get to experience any of those perks firsthand. 😂😂😂
It’s a bit of an uphill battle, honestly. Most people are going to give you that slightly condescending look—you know the one, like they're looking down their noses at you—once you actually mention the name of that group.🙄
Good grief... pure delusion... this caught me COMPLETELY off guard, especially since the last time I saw them, they were practically jumping out of the canned meat, yogurt, margarine, and every single corner of my pantry... honestly, I’m in total shock.🙄
1 LIKE = 1 VOTE FOR DAY ZERO! Hit Like if you want a Day Zero festival, which can only happen with the support of the City of Washington, D.C. How many of us are there?
p.s. where are the insiders, any new info out there? 😁
As if that matters at all. You can't seriously think the city gives a damn about my Facebook like.😢

It’s not like the length of the fest determines whether we see interesting acts or not—that's a ticket price issue. They could add three more days, but what's the point if they just fill them with mediocre performers (probably local acts, ugh!). Even looking at these two days, I already see a lot of filler (gentleman, The DØ, Biafra, Cypress Hill), so why dilute everything even further?
If I recall correctly, they booked Alice in Chains for Day Zero last year because it was the only date that worked. And honestly, I wouldn't exactly call AIC "mediocre" names.😍 In my opinion, they probably have a decent shot at booking someone good for that slot, but I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
btw calling C. Hill filler... that's quite the bold statement. 🤣
Larry Cooper40 said:That’s a pretty weird way to split them up... honestly, I couldn't tell you which band would be closing out the main stage on any given night. Before seeing this, I was dead certain it would be Arcade Fire on day one and Jamiroquai on day two...
Just a heads up, this isn't the official schedule yet. My gut feeling? I expect Arcade Fire to close the first night and Cypress Hill to take the second. Looking back at how they've handled things in previous years, I'd say we probably have maybe four or five more international acts left to be announced, and most likely just for the smaller stages.

Is she even touring right now?
I heard she might be in New York City...
Or maybe I shouldn't even hold my breath....😢
Honestly, I'd settle for seeing Moby again if he's playing anything nearby. Though, thinking back to how many glowsticks were thrown at him during his last set, I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to skip an American tour entirely.
What does "allegedly" actually mean here? I’d love it if someone could provide a source that isn't some old lady reading tea leaves or staring into a crystal ball. Or maybe just a friend who thinks they have psychic powers. 😉

And one of his newer ones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-Nyk...ist=QL&index=3
Honestly, he was better off sticking to the old stuff. Does anyone remember this one?

I really went into this thinking it was going to be a massive festival this year, maybe even making up for how last year turned out. What a letdown.
Yeah, but think about the absurdity of it all... you have all these reggae, dub, and dancehall artists from Jamaica or those British-Jamaican acts playing for peanuts just to satisfy some random guy's whims, but hey, I suppose that’s still a step up from listening to Xavier Naidoo and his group of political activists.
