I don't know about that... it's not like you can just wake up and decide, "Alright, I'm gonna make a masterpiece today!"😁

Lately, though, the visuals have been stunning, even if the stories were pretty mediocre (think *The Revenant* or *Lone Survivor*). But *Amelia*? That one actually holds its own... and it does it beautifully.

Man, I finally sat down and watched it today 😳 and it’s actually great... weird, offbeat, and just fun. Honestly, those Frenchmen have been killing it with their cinematography lately; their films look way more striking than most Hollywood stuff.

Take a guess what I'm talking about. 🙂

That scene with the forcefields while Duel of the Fates plays in the background is killer, but honestly, who’s actually going to enjoy it given how much the rest of the movie falls apart...

Anyway, it just hit me—we haven't even mentioned Panic Room in the best cinematography category.

Oh yeah, that whole "best lesbian scene" category... 👍 😁

Just thought of another top-tier villain—Max von Sydow in Minority Report. He was incredible... but then you've got Pantoliano... "My mother calls me Teddy, my name is John Edward Gammel!"

Yoda vs Count Dooku

Look, I always thought action scenes weren't supposed to be funny. 🙂 Seriously, when I watched that, half the theater was staring in stunned silence while the other half was losing it laughing.

But that scene right before it, where the lights go out and the lightsaber duel starts... that's Dobro.

BTW slyrider16, solid pick... but if we're talking about the ultimate bad guy, I'd probably go with Guy Pearce himself... 😉

😁 😁 😁 😉

Nice... proves Christopher Nolan isn't just some one-hit wonder.

It’s great.

The only thing is, IMO the ending feels a bit rushed. I wouldn't have minded if it dragged on for another three hours. 🙂

Insomnia should be playing pretty soon... though I think they ran it during that last specialty screening alongside xXx and Sum of All Fears.

Does anyone know when this hits theaters here in the States?
Yep.

It’s like those zombies from From Dusk Till Dawn got a sudden boost in agility or something.

lonescout2 said:Maybe use Memento as a reminder—if you haven't seen it since last year—or maybe Minority Report.

My bad, I'm losing it. Memento actually came out back in 2000. 😉

Anyway, worst one? It’s not a complete disaster, but it's pure brainless filler... Men in Black 2.

How do you guys watch movies? in Movies ·
I try catching it at the movie theater, but if I miss it, I just end up hunting it down on Blu-ray or streaming.
Just watched Bond... man, what a riot. It’s absolutely ridiculous, but hey, I don't think I've laughed that hard in a theater since Austin Powers.
