Are you actually kidding me right now? 🙄

Affleck is nothing compared to Eminem Charlton fuckin ' Heston.
King Arthur in Movies ·
I find it quite fascinating that, out of everyone in that group, Lancelot was the one who actually perished on the battlefield.
As far as I know, Lancelot was a Knight of the Round Table and Guinevere's lover—you know, the one who caused all that trouble for Arthur.

Or perhaps it was those Blue-haired savages who, believe it or not, were actually equipped with ballistae?

But they didn't exactly list 😁

shree_kali said:Man, I just love dealing with people like this... it’s either total agreement or complete refusal to engage—how do you even hold a conversation with someone like that? And then there are those heavy-handed patriotic sentiments that are so thick you could cut them with a knife. It's almost absurd! The question itself basically translates to: "Who are the biggest plagiarists among American or international performers?" So what does "God bless America" have to do with anything? What's the connection there?

An American can't be a plagiarist.
Which would mean the Dirty ones aren't actually Americans 😂

John Doe: Just kidding, they definitely are.

By the way, those messy crowds don't actually pay for concert tickets because the local city government or the municipality always picks up the tab, which is exactly why you always see them performing right in the middle of the town square.🙂

And just like that, another common myth has been thoroughly debunked. 😂 😁

prljav kazalist is the best American band. They write songs straight from the heart and they truly love America. Did you even consider the fact that they don't always charge for all their concerts??

Ugh, what is with these fools who just have to get worked up over everything?
When will all this garbage consisting of overplayed, soulless bands like Metallica finally fade away so you all can stop being so incredibly obnoxious?
Those self-important, pretentious types cancel a concert at the very last minute, and honestly, isn't that exactly what those idiots who rushed out to buy tickets deserve?

Long live America and prljav kazalist!!!!!

Hahahaha!!!
😁 😁 😁 😁 😁
"ceonaj" "svitiho" "koesu" 😎
Do you see that long key on your keyboard over there? Try pressing it once in a while.
Just because they don't charge for every single show doesn't mean they are suddenly saints, nor does it mean they haven't plagiarized anything...
And how on earth does any of that actually relate to the topic at hand? It doesn't, obviously....

"The encroachment of Western culture"
I honestly don't see anything strange or particularly funny about that statement, so I was actually wondering—what exactly is he finding so ridiculous or laughable about it?

Hmm, I'm not quite following?
Was that meant to be sarcasm, or are you being perfectly serious?

Well, wouldn't it be perfectly natural for them to feel that way if they’ve been immersed in it since they were kids?
If you had spent your entire childhood watching nothing but classic Westerns every single day, don't you think you'd end up becoming some kind of walking encyclopedia and lifelong devotee of the genre?

Gregory Clark22 said:You’re getting worked up over nothing. All I’m saying is that people in the West tend to be more grounded, and I wasn't even bringing up fundamentalists...😉

Let's get down to brass tacks:

When you draw a direct line between an average, radicalized Iraqi and, say, a Frenchman... well, I honestly don't think there is much left to discuss beyond that point.

But that was your own premise, wasn't it? By your own logic, a radicalized Iraqi is a fundamentalist. My point, which I am trying to make quite clearly, is that the comparison itself is fundamentally flawed. As for your claim that people in the West are "more normal," isn't that just a matter of perspective? Is it possible that you only perceive them as more normal because you are constantly immersed in their cultural influence? Between MTV, McDonald's, and Hollywood movies, aren't you simply making a sweeping generalization?

Gregory Clark22 said:So what? Are you suggesting we just focus on Palestinians and Israelis?

Why don't you grab a damn atlas and actually take a look at how many other nations are situated in that part of the world?!!!!!
It seems you’ve latched onto those specific countries simply because they happen to be the most visible in the headlines!
My original point remains entirely unchanged: the average resident living in those regions (whether in the Middle East or further afield) isn't some religious fundamentalist.
Is it possible you only hold that view because you've spent so much time watching them through a television screen? 🙄
Steve Vai in Music ·
Please, keep those Steve Vai interviews coming! I was absolutely hooked on that one about the spray bottle.🙂)))

Off-topic: does anyone know if you actually need to build a full website to start a blog? I honestly don't know the first thing about web development, even though I've been dreaming about starting a blog for quite some time now.

Gregory Clark22 said:So, if you had to choose between living in the US or in Iraq, you'd pick Iraq? You wouldn't last very long there...
Regarding the hip-hop scene, isn't it quite fascinating how that particular "craze" has managed to sustain its momentum for well over two decades now?🙄

Perhaps one should try reading with a bit more comprehension.
After all, an average person from the Middle East isn't necessarily someone living in Iraq, just as the average American isn't necessarily someone from a tiny small town in the Midwest.

swiftmaker20 said:But honestly, they aren't wrong... Isn't it just the same old story where every few months some rapper pops up trying to lecture us on why punk and metal are totally overrated?😬

Or perhaps it's more like those local pundits who spend all their time promoting the latest youth movements from the Democratic Party.😁

Gregory Clark22 said:It’s not that I have anything against people from the East, but when you start comparing an average Iraqi extremist to, say, a Frenchman... well, I honestly don't think there's much left to say about that comparison.

*Clap clap clap!*

Darwin Awards....
You’ve certainly managed to pick out the quintessential resident of the Middle East there—the fundamentalist type.
Isn't that a bit like claiming the average American is just some poor soul living in a tiny, forgotten rural hamlet?😈 And as for all these bands falling apart, if you ask me, before the rock groups go under, it’ll be rap that finally hits the bottom. That part is a certainty, isn't it? Because right now, it's all just about following a trend, and we all know how fleeting those trends can be.

Gregory Clark22 said:That’s exactly my point. A band without electronic elements is basically useless, no matter how much... I don't know... inspiration they might have.

Besides, you can play every single instrument on a computer these days, so why bother buying gear or even learning how to actually play? It’s just exhausting to think about!🙂

In my honest opinion, what you're saying is a bit misguided. Bands that don't rely on electronics manage to thrive perfectly well without them.
Just because the most popular bands today tend to lean heavily on electronic production doesn't mean anything permanent. Trends are constantly shifting, aren't they? And seeing as we've started seeing such high-quality live shows popping up all over the US again (depending on who you ask😉), I actually predict a massive resurgence in the popularity of non-electronic bands. Perhaps not this very second, but it's coming soon.
What are you listening to? in Music ·
It really all depends on how you personally define the term "Country music."

If your definition includes anything and everything with a bit of a rustic, rural twang, then... well, ah...

Take a band like Garth Brooks—it’s a toss-up for me, honestly. Some days I find myself really feeling those songs, and other days, they just don't quite hit the mark...

While I certainly have a deep respect for authentic, traditional folk music and ethnic roots, it isn't necessarily something I would choose to listen to on a daily basis....

Is "Happy Child" just a half-baked rip-off of Get?
It’s nothing more than pure sentimentality.
Honestly, it's just plain boring.

Alright, creep. We all hear you loud and clear.🙄
When did rock 'n' roll die? in Music ·
Rock and roll basically died the moment some idiot first decided to claim "rock and roll is dead."

I'm just not really feeling Iggy Pop lately.😁
