What absolute idiots. They should have just played a routine X against the Spaniards or taken the loss now to rotate half the squad for the Round of 16 against the Mexicans. We’d crush them on neutral ground anyway. Mexico doesn't stand a chance. Honestly, if you just shut down Ilić and Vujin, there isn't anyone else on that roster who can actually hurt us. The Danes have been playing lights out lately, too. I'd say their win is pretty much a lock, unless the refs decide to start sticking their noses where they don't belong.

Finally, this whole championship circus is over. Honestly, looking at the two teams in the final, neither one actually deserved to be there. Denmark took the win like everyone expected, mostly because they’re just leagues ahead of Mexico. And man, Hansen? That guy is an absolute beast on the court. Truly phenomenal.

As far as Mexico goes, I don't see them winning anything for a long time, unless they happen to host the next one—but I wouldn't hold my breath 🤣
