How exactly is someone from this forum supposed to help you solve the issue physically?

You check in 'once a week' (at best, once a day), and even then, you fail to provide direct answers to the suggestions or follow-up questions already posted:

post #6 - You can set the tablet to connect as a media device or just for charging; charging might be the default setting.

post #7 - It's simple enough to check (verify what was said in post #6). Connect the cable from the PC to the tablet or phone. If the laptop recognizes the phone and asks you to confirm/allow data transfer, then the laptop and cable are fine. At that point, look at the options/settings on the tablet itself.

post #8 - Can other devices see the tablet's Bluetooth? There is an invisible mode. Usually, the code is 6868 to make it "visible"... at least that used to be the case for factory-set devices

post #9 - Try AnyDesk.

post #15 - Use the easiest solution: an SD card
(meaning you pull the SD card out of the tablet and put it into the laptop slot—or use a cheap USB-SD adapter to connect it to the laptop)

Have you tried uploading an image like a '.gif', '.jpg', '.png', '.bmp', or '.webp' to Google Drive?

Or perhaps a video file like '.avi', '.mov', '.webm', or a standard '.mp4' (not something using H.264/... or other complex MP4 compressions)?

Did you test other file types—for instance, '.pdf', '.txt', '.rtf', '.doc', '.rar', or '.zip'
? rar' or '.zip' file appears on Google Drive on both devices, that should resolve the issue quite effectively.))

Have you attempted to upload or download video files using other free hosting sites similar to 'mediafire.com' (the only one I am actually familiar with)?

Second,

If it’s only PDFs lacking icons, then you clearly know exactly what any iconless file is... obviously. It's a PDF. 🤷

Try setting a default application for those PDFs:
- right-click on a '.pdf' file
- under " Open with" options, select "Choose another app"
- check the box for "Always use this app to open .pdf files"
- select the program you want to use for '.pdf' files

If that isn't the issue (meaning you already set a default program)
try deleting the 'IconCache.db' file located in the '.../your user account/AppData/Local/' folder, then restart 'Task Manager' and refresh 'Windows File Explorer'
