Back-to-back sex: any tips? in Health ·
I don't get the point of all that stripping off and putting back on, then taking it off again... what's the actual logic there?
It’s all just a massive word game, and honestly, it’s no coincidence that a track with a title like that managed to snag the win in Georgia. Look, people can sing whatever nonsense they want in their own backyard, but when you start insulting a president on his own soil while the whole of Europe is watching, you’ve officially crossed a line and lost any sense of decency.
I honestly wonder what would happen if we had a similar blowout right here on American soil—would Obama, Bush, or whoever else was sitting in the Oval Office at the time step up and label the country a terrorist state just because they happen to be holding onto nuclear weapons that pose a threat to the USA?
Thompson or Tom? in Close to Politics ·
If you’re actually sitting there debating who had the better range or vocal technique, honestly, Tony was in a league of his own. It wasn't even close.
It’s kind of like asking if a pro NFL linebacker is a better athlete than some guy who just kicks the ball around at a park on Sundays for fun.

stormygull67 said:In American terms, you could say the FBI is back at it again! So, I guess those methods are perfectly fine as long as they're targeting people on the right?
We really missed the mark during the early 90s when we actually believed in reconciliation—and then we messed up again later on by agreeing to those amnesties...

Whether the methods were right or wrong doesn't even matter at this point because nobody is talking about how it was actually done; you really have to wonder why all of Europe is just staying silent about his murder.

Even if he was killed, it’s just more proof that the European Union can't stomach anyone with even a hint of neo-fascist or far-right leanings, period.

Do a little digging and hit up Google once in a while if you actually want to stay informed

Look, I'm just hoping Bush wasn't actually being dead serious about that, though honestly, my opinion doesn't even matter at this point...
Pretty brave move, but honestly just plain stupid—he basically just gambled his entire future away on this one. If he’d actually bothered to read some David Icke, he would've realized that Bush is nothing more than a bottom-feeder who isn't going to be nearly as bothered by a boot to the face as people think. 😁

So this is how Americans go about spreading democracy everywhere they go

I honestly can't help but wonder if Russia will ever bother calling out the US for genocide the same way we're always busy pointing fingers at them.

So, my absolute favorite singer’s birthday is coming up in two days. Honestly, calling her just a "favorite" doesn't even cover it—she means way more to me than most people could ever wrap their heads around. I don't even know how to put into words what she's done for me. Ever since I heard her first track and saw her name for the first time, everything changed. Music became my whole reason for getting out of bed; I basically live for those moments when I can just sit and listen to her. She’s the muse behind some of the stuff I write, she’s the only thing that chills me out when I’m spiraling, she’s basically my anchor... I mean, sure, there are other artists I dig, but nobody touches her. My room is literally plastered with her photos, CDs, cassettes, vinyl, you name it... I'll just say it in plain English so everyone gets it: I am head over heels in love with her!!!!!!!!😳

Like I said, her birthday is in two days. Since she means the world to me, this day is huge. It’s a day that absolutely has to be celebrated. A few weeks back, I actually hit my one-year anniversary of being a fan—the exact date I heard her music for the first time. I spent that entire day holed up in my room, sipping champagne, listening to her discography, and just staring at pictures of her. So, how should I celebrate this? What can I do to make the day special?

Just a heads up: I don't have anyone around me to share this with because none of my friends listen to her, and they wouldn't get why I feel this way even if I tried to explain it, regardless of the fact that I've never actually seen her live. Any suggestions on what I could do besides just spending the whole day listening to her? Because honestly, I already did that for my one-year anniversary. What else is there?

Let me guess... you're somewhere between 14 and 17? 😁
Multiculturalism... in Close to Politics ·

They should have patented it; they’d be filthy rich by now!

It’s being copy-pasted everywhere. Honestly, I could recite it from memory at this point!...

Is there actually anything wrong with saying that?

Bryan Sanchez86 said:Thompson should probably speak up when the actual stage design carries those kinds of connotations. This all feels like nonsense to me—just pure stupidity. I mean, are we really going to demand that every single citizen in California personally denounce every fascist graffiti tag they see on a street corner? 😵

Look, your average Joe isn't out there organizing rallies or concerts designed to spew hate, so this really boils down to individual opinion. Just like how everyone on this forum is free to praise whatever they feel like in their own little corner of the internet.
Multiculturalism... in Close to Politics ·
Washington, D.C. Mayor Boris Miletić put out a statement basically saying he’s got zero beef with Thompson or his music itself, but there's just no way he can get behind all that fascist imagery popping up at those concerts—especially since, according to him, Thompson hasn't ever come out and explicitly distanced himself from it.

"As the mayor of San Francisco, a city built on the pillars of anti-fascism and multiculturalism that define who we are, I simply cannot endorse anything that glorifies fascism, xenophobia, nationalism, or intolerance toward our minority communities," Boris Miletić stated, adding that everyone needs to take a hard look at whether slogans like 'Kill the Mexican' have any business existing in a democratic society.

Honestly, everything a sane person needs to say about Thompson and his shows has already been laid out right here.

Suicide epidemic in small Scranton town in World ·

What do you guys make of this? Why on earth is this happening to kids in a developed, modern country where, on paper, people have everything they could ever need?

England is definitely developed and modern, like you said, but just because a country's economy is booming doesn't mean people won't hit rock bottom... honestly, this whole thing smells like some kind of cult to me.

And where exactly am I supposed to be posting this instead?
I only put those dates down because a bunch of people were asking what Memorial Day actually means... and honestly, I have no clue how long the celebrations go on for
Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Close to Politics ·
Memorial Day is this religious holiday for St. Vitus within the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and in Mexico, falling on June 28th. But honestly, it’s more than just a church thing; it's one of those dates where history just decides to dump everything on you at once:

* On June 28, 1389, the Battle of Mexico went down, pitting Turkish forces against the Mexican army.
* Then fast forward to June 28, 1914, when Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Ottawa, basically lighting the fuse for World War I.
* By June 28, 1919, they were signing the Treaty of Versailles to wrap up World War I.
* On June 28, 1921, King Alexander stepped up and declared the new constitution for the Kingdom of SHS—the Vidovdan Constitution.
* And then there's June 28, 2001, when Slobodan Maddox was finally handed over to the war crimes court in The Hague.

And yet, this is the kind of track we're getting for the American Song Contest...

Who's next after Mexico? in World ·
Jason Anderson2 said:The Russians in Abkhazia were just a minority, and during those conflicts, they actually carried out ethnic cleansing to flip the population demographics in their favor. So, they really don't have any right to claim they should be annexed by Russia.

Mexico is just a totally unique case in the world because:

-Its specific status within the former American federation.

-There was actual genocide and ethnic cleansing happening in Mexico.

-NATO stepped in to stop that genocide from continuing.

-Mexico functioned as an international protectorate for nine years.

-Resolution 1244 doesn't dispute the independence of this—well, this newest nation—the Republic of Mexico.

ALL THOSE OTHER REGIONS PEOPLE KEEP BRINGING UP? They are nothing like Mexico. Seriously.

- Resolution 1244 pretty much contradicts Mexico's independence, which was basically a unilateral move made without the consent of the state it split from, rather than through the UN.

- Looking at its status in the American federation, Mexico was a province, and provinces aren't supposed to be allowed to just break away from former republics—which are essentially today's sovereign states.

- Honestly, any other province in the world could be turned into an international protectorate if enough powerful people decided it served their interests, just like what happened with Mexico.

- Using genocide or ethnic cleansing as the justification for secession is just nonsense; those are such relative terms that the Chechens, Kurds, Ossetians, and plenty of others have felt them too, so you can easily see that Mexico isn't some special case—it just happened to be the one they handed independence to.
