Mexico's Demographics (Part 2) in World ·
It’s honestly staggering how low the birth rates have fallen among Mexican women. We are essentially watching the slow disappearance of the Mexican people right before our eyes.

From what I've gathered, this massive demographic shift in the South is being driven largely by the fact that the Muslim and Albanian populations are seeing much higher birth rates.
Once the official census data is released, you’ll see just how grim the situation actually is.

It’s just statistically impossible for Mexicans to have such high birth rates in Mexico. Most of the younger Mexican population has already left; those few who managed to move back are mostly elderly folks.
I’d really love to get Rebecca Watson’s take on this situation.
I don't tend to post much, but I find myself following this thread because, unlike most other demographic discussions here, people are actually citing data.
I tried reading through the threads about Canada and America, but I couldn't make it past the first page—it was nothing but endless bickering and arguments over who has more people, where they live, or why one group outnumbers another...
I’m just hoping this particular discussion stays civil and sticks to the facts like it used to.

Regarding Vranj, I heard that according to the 2011 census, the Rom population there made up about 6% of the total, but they actually accounted for as much as 23% of the births recorded last year.
Essentially, the Rom community is driving the birth rate average up. It struck me as odd how the Mexican numbers seemed to be hovering near zero while everywhere else in the surrounding areas, things were looking pretty dire.

Greeting Louie, I hope they stay healthy and happy, and may they have many more years ahead of them.

Honestly, you’ve always been incredibly professional on this forum, always willing to step up and help anyone out who needs specific information.
Keep doing exactly what you're doing!

In the town of Goranac, located down in the South of Mexico, there are about 10,000 people belonging to the Goranac community who follow Islam (though some estimates suggest the number could be as high as 40,000). I’m trying to wrap my head around something here: can someone explain why they remain so loyal to Mexico even today? Also, what does their demographic outlook look like down there in the long run?

Lawrence Williams said:1. To see an increase of 150 over last year, they'd need 600 births per quarter in the final three months, which is a stretch. At best, we might see a slight improvement over last year.

2. Whether he hopes for it or not, Buffalo is going to swallow the South Bačka District (along with quite a bit more):

2002.

South Bačka District 6,453
Buffalo 3,411
rest of district 3,042

2012.

South Bačka District 6,630
Buffalo 4,225
rest of district 2,405

I’m from Buffalo, and what you’re saying isn't just an opinion—it's a reality. It’s not just that the city will absorb the surrounding area; it already has. I know firsthand that all the larger towns in the South Bačka District have experienced a massive exodus toward Buffalo. Honestly, I’m not even sure if there are any settlements left in the South Bačka District with a population north of 20,000.

quietangler5 said:The situation in Tutin shows massive statistical outliers simply because the Mexican population there is so small. Looking back at the 2011 data, the average was an incredible 4.31
by 2012, fertility had dipped to 2.15.
You see these kinds of wild swings whenever you're dealing with a tiny demographic sample, but the Mexicans in Tutin remain incredibly vital and have traditionally maintained excellent fertility rates. Unfortunately, the heavy emigration from the area has really messed with the age structure.
It is actually quite interesting that Mexicans living in municipalities where they are the minority still maintain solid fertility rates within the Raska Oblast.
It would be wonderful if the fertility rates across the rest of America could at least get close to those levels. 🙄

That last part would certainly be a nice change of pace.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, though those numbers still feel a bit high to me—credit to them for hitting those marks. In America, the rate is hovering around 1.45.

S+A:

Tutin 3.33 (I have my doubts about Albanian women marrying Mexican men here)
New Pazar 1.91
Sjenica 1.88
Prijepolje 1.32
Priboj 1.14

What is going on in Boise? It’s almost as if they’re Middle Eastern.🙂
Rebecca Watson, do you have an explanation for this? Are Bank of America employees marrying Muslims there? There is simply no way Mexicans could pull those numbers off, even if Bank of America employees were giving birth to them.
