Just apply some basic logic here—every single day, mm?! Even if we assume it’s only half a millimeter, or even ten millimeters.
By that math, he would have removed 3cm in a month at most. Honestly, saying that's possible isn't just unrealistic; it's laughable (as pathetic as the situation actually is).

Hehe, yeah, those designs were clearly stolen from the torture devices used on old frontier outlaws. If they're using tech like that in the Midwest, I shudder to think what they're doing over in Western Europe!

Mine doesn't support DX11. Besides that specific card, is there anything else in that price bracket? Maybe something from NVIDIA? Or are they always more expensive, if I recall correctly?

At the very least...

You could probably get an HD 4890 ~$150.

Is that AMD Radeon 1GB GDDR5 OC actually a significant step up from what I'm running now?

Will it handle all the latest titles without breaking a sweat? If I can offload my current card for $267 and pick this one up for $450—meaning I'm out an extra $350—is that actually a smart move? Is it worth the investment?

One of my arms is about two inches shorter than the other at the upper arm, and I’m fairly certain the forearm is also an inch or so shorter, though I haven't actually measured it. This stems from a shoulder injury I've had since childhood. A few months back, I went to see a specialist to get my shoulder checked out, but we only exchanged a few brief words regarding this specific issue. I asked him if there was any way to actually lengthen the bone. He mentioned that limb-lengthening surgeries do exist, but he wouldn't recommend them for me given my age; apparently, it's something that works better while you're still growing. We didn't really go any further with the conversation, so now I'm wondering if there is anything I can do through exercise. Is there even a specific workout for this? Honestly, if I could gain just another half-inch, I'd be thrilled. On a more layman note, if I were to grab onto something above my head and just hang there for an hour every day, would that actually do anything? Or is that impossible now that I'm 25? I did a bit of digging online and saw there's a doctor over in Europe who specializes in this. Apparently, you wear a device that extends the bone by maybe 0.02 inches a day...

Here is the situation: I am currently running an ATI Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 https://www.pcpartpicker.com/product/example . It’s been about five years now, so I think it is finally time to upgrade. Honestly, this card has served me incredibly well—never given me a single headache—but since I recently overhauled my other components, it feels like the right moment to address the GPU. I haven't really kept up with the graphics card market lately, so I've fallen a bit behind on what's actually out there. I have a few questions:

1. Roughly how much could I get for my current Sapphire card if I were to sell it?
2. How much should I expect to shell out for a replacement? I don't particularly care if it's NVIDIA or ATI, as long as the performance is a step up from what I'm using now.

Just to be clear, I am not looking for some high-end powerhouse designed to crank everything to Ultra settings. I am not a hardcore gamer; I just play a handful of titles a year, things like NBA, GTA 5 once it hits PC, or the newer Call of Duty releases. My overall system isn't anything special either.

To summarize,

1. PCI-E
2. Current specs:
a) Intel Pentium G3220 processor
b) ASUS H87-PRO motherboard
c) G.SKILL Ripjaws Series RAM, F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL, DDR3 1600MHZ, 2x2GB kit
d) Corsair HX 620W PSU
3. 24'' Monitor, 1920*1200 resolution
4. Budget... hmm, I'd prefer not to overspend. Maybe up to $233? Is it even possible to find something better than my current card for just $233?
5. Retailers? Where can I find the best deals online?
Motherboard: Which revision should I get? in Desktops ·
You missed the point of my question. I'm asking specifically which UEFI BIOS revision we're talking about here—is it 2.0, 2.1, or something else entirely? Obviously, my intention is to go with the latest version available, so that distinction is vital to me.
Motherboard: Which revision should I get? in Desktops ·
I have just one question, and frankly, it feels a bit silly to start an entirely new thread over it, but since I couldn't find a dedicated discussion topic regarding motherboards, I suppose I have no choice but to post here.

I am planning on picking up an ASUS H87-PRO motherboard, so I was wondering if anyone knows which is the most recent revision available? Furthermore, if anyone here actually owns one, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on its performance.
Look, I should mention that I’m also dealing with a contracture in my right elbow; it stays slightly bent, and I just can't seem to straighten it out. I'm wondering if there's any way to fix this issue—even if it's just enough to get some decent range of motion back in my arm. Given that I've had nerve damage since birth, I’m under no illusions about reaching the same level of mobility as my left arm, but honestly, even a marginal improvement would be a win in my book.
Around age 15, I used to go for regular checkups at the Mayo Clinic every single year. Eventually, I just stopped going because I didn't see the point—I figured I could just handle the hand exercises on my own, which I still try to do. But let’s be honest: I only ever did the easy ones. I completely neglected the difficult stuff, like extending my arm properly, and now I'm dealing with the consequences. If I had actually committed to those exercises ten years ago instead of slacking off, I wouldn't be in this mess right now. Back then at the hospital, they would perform annual mobility tests on my arm and everything, but I grew bored of the routine and quit. My doctor also prescribed some spinal exercises, which really should have been done while I was still growing to ensure proper physical development—and I am still technically in that growth phase. So, should I schedule an appointment with a physiatrist? I am genuinely wondering if, by performing the correct exercises, it is actually possible to regain almost identical mobility to my left arm?
Greetings. I am somewhat uncertain regarding the appropriate placement for this inquiry; I initially considered the physical therapy PDF or perhaps this specific sub-forum, but if this is misplaced, I kindly request that a moderator relocate it. To provide context, I have dealt with a nerve injury in my right shoulder since birth, which has resulted in limited mobility. Specifically, I cannot fully raise my arm, extend it completely, or perform standard push-ups. While I have remained active in sports and maintained a fitness regimen—making my physical limitation virtually unnoticeable in daily life—there are subtle differences. My right arm is slightly shorter than my left and has a smaller circumference, though it is truly negligible to an observer. Because the triceps are responsible for the movements I cannot currently execute, that muscle has suffered from atrophy. In the past, my training has focused almost exclusively on the biceps, neglecting the triceps, and this imbalance is finally becoming a concern. I have located some triceps exercises online (though they are marketed toward women, I am currently unable to handle heavy gym equipment) http://www.osijek031.com/osijek.php?topic_id=37253 and I am wondering if it is advisable to begin with these movements without any significant strain—essentially starting with stretching and eventually progressing to light weights of one or two pounds. Will such an effort yield visible results after a few months? Furthermore, aside from those listed, are there specific triceps exercises tailored to someone with my particular physiological constraints?

Take a look at the Cypriot league; today the bottom-dwellers (14th) are facing off against 12th place AlkiLarn-Ethnikos Achn. The odds for a home win are sitting at 9.00, while the visitors are favored at 1.25. It wouldn't be surprising if the away side were currently sitting at the top of the table, but they've managed only 4 points from 7 matches, and they've actually lost their last three games in a row. Granted, the home team has been losing everything lately too, but given the odds of 9 (1) or 3.25 for a double chance (1X), it might be worth throwing a small amount of money on
a little gamble.

Yes, the current lineup is top-tier. I am genuinely pleased to see that following such legendary geniuses in the original roster, this new generation—after the "passing of the torch"—is playing with just as much brilliance as they are now. Derek and Warren have an incredible synergy going. While Hittin The note is a solid record, I don't think it quite reaches the heights of their absolute best work. Does anyone happen to know if a new album is in the works? It’s about time they shared their talent with us fans again; it has already been ten years since the last release. I also find the acoustic live album Live Unplugged Los Angeles 6-11-92 to be excellent. On that particular record, the track "Come On In My Kitchen" 👍 shows that Gregg has a truly phenomenal voice...

A few months back, Skyd: The Duane Allman Retrospective was released—a massive 7-CD set featuring 129 tracks where the absolute king of slide guitar, Duane Allman, performs alongside an incredible array of musicians. I finally picked up my own copy today, so I’ll be diving into this over the next few days and weeks. There is plenty of material here that I had no idea he had even touched.

It’s been a while since I really sat down with the Allman brothers, so today was a much-needed reminder of how these guys absolutely crush it. Especially Duane; the way that man plays is just staggering. 🙏

I also didn't realize he played (and sang!) on this particular track, which is originally by Chuck Berry.

Maria Fisher46 said:Dear Frank White,

Based on what you provided, it is clear that your PSA levels dropped following the antibiotic treatment. However, the values remain somewhat elevated, and since the f/t PSA ratio has decreased slightly, you really ought to consult with your urologist regarding this.

Best regards. 🙂

Dear Elizabeth Cooper2,

As I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, some of the primary parameters for a semen analysis include:

volume ---------- normally above 2.0 ml
concentration ----- normally above 20 million/ml
motility ------ normally above 50%, with rapid motility above 25%
morphology ------- normally above 30% normal forms
vitality ------------ normally above 75%
leukocytes ----------- normally less than 1 million/ml

Regarding motility, the key factors are progressive motility (fast + slow-progressive >50%) and rapid progressive sperm (>25%); based on your math—even though you didn't specify the exact value—I suspect it should be within a good range.

You haven't listed the other significant parameters, but you can easily compare them against the guidelines provided above. From what you've read in your own results, they seem to be fine.

I believe the WHO recently introduced new (slightly more lenient) criteria for defining a normal semen analysis, but since I don't specialize in urology, I am not certain if those have been fully implemented in clinical practice yet.

Best regards. 🙂

Regarding motility, leukocytes, and morphology, everything seems to be in order. However, I am now wondering if there is an issue with my zinc being at the upper limit (3.5) and my citrate levels being significantly higher than normal (58.8), given that the standard range is 10.4–41.6?

Thanks!
Because I had a feeling something might be off with my sperm count, I went ahead and provided a sample for analysis. Now I'm wondering if anyone here actually knows how to interpret a semen analysis?
For the most part, everything looks fine, but there are a few specific details I don't quite grasp—specifically whether they are within a healthy range or not. For instance:
MOTILITY-SLOW PROGRESSIVE 10%
MOTILITY-NON-PROGRESSIVE 2%
MOTILITY-IMMOBILE 28%
ZINC 3.5 mmol/l (normal range 1.2-3.5)
CITRATE 58.8 H mmol/l (notes say normal is 10.4-41.6)
It also mentions at the end under ADDITIONAL TESTS something about young forms and spermatogenesis cells!

Just for context, I'm 21 years old!

Alright, let's get down to brass tacks. Between those two specific models, which one actually comes out on top? I really don't see the point in dropping $167 more on the Acer if it isn't providing a tangible upgrade, especially since it feels like

So, I'm planning on picking up this monitor, and I was wondering what your thoughts are on it.
My main focus would be watching HD movies and gaming.
I’d be willing to shell out a maximum of $833 for a new display, so I'm curious if there's anything superior to this model that I could grab within a $667 budget?

Why does Windows occasionally recognize my hard drive and then just completely ignore it? It’s happening more often than not lately—it shows up for a little while, disappears, and just keeps cycling through this loop for several days now...

I installed an RC build today and I've hit a bit of a snag. I'm running three hard drives—one PATA and two SATA—but one of the SATA drives isn't showing up properly. It shows up fine in the BIOS, but once I'm actually in Windows, it's nowhere to be found. Any advice on what to do here?
