Against Morocco? You can bet anything we won't win by more than a 10-goal margin, whatever the handicap ends up being.🙂 Besides, it's basically a lottery anyway.🙂
The first round kicks off on the 20th, then the 21st, followed by the 22nd. The only exception is the opener between Germany 2007 and Brazil, which happens on the 19th.
This tournament isn't going to be any paradise for the bettors; we're looking at odds hovering right around 1.05 to 1.10.😁 Plus, the handicaps will be sky-high, making it feel like nothing more than a total lottery for us regular folks.🙂
Denmark vs. Canada stands out as the only heavy hitter in Round 1, though I suspect Russia vs. Korea might actually be a decent matchup too.
Neither I nor Caleb impressed me during the US Cup, and he's clearly out of shape... if he doesn't get back into game shape, our left wing is going to be a total disaster again.😢
But I’m genuinely curious to see how this turns out 🙂 the Dawn of the Dead remake was actually incredible, especially that DVD release featuring that goofy host 🤣
Good grief, even Anušić is at it—the guy missed easy shots in both games in Phoenix, and he’s going to drive us absolutely crazy during the tournament in Germany 😠 I'm betting Vuković ends up getting the start over Tonči Valčić 🤮
Word on the street is that Josip Valcic and Horvat are officially out, leaving us with 21 players. That means 16 traveling, 4 reserves, and one more guy stays home—likely Somic.
What happened to Davor?🙂
Look, we can manage without the rest of them, but without Davor (and maybe Vorija), they just aren't the true Hellraisers.🙂
Since both Spoljaric and Balic spent some time playing on the right wing during the tournament—and even Kaleb stepped in for an offensive play once 🤣—it really looks to me like Lino is seriously considering keeping Buntic at home.
frozentiger6 said:Well look, you're bringing up Korea and Czechia. Both those squads really just rely on two guys: Jan Filip and that powerhouse from the Bundesliga.
Norway, Canada—they're all just stepping stones for Poland.
But the Danes, Spaniards, and Russians are actually full squads... we've got four heavyweights in one group, while the other side of the bracket only has two. 🙂 Blah, whatever, it doesn't matter because we're going to beat them all anyway. 👍
