I have this nagging memory of reading it somewhere, and since the race is next weekend, it would be pretty wild to see them competing on the same side of the garage. 😁

Now, the big question is how they’re going to penalize Prost. There’s already talk about a one-race ban, which—if you ask me—is total overkill. Sure, he messed up, but a ten-place penalty or making him start from the back should be plenty.

Regardless, no matter how "ugly" that finish was, it’s basically served as a massive spotlight. Everyone and their mother is going to be talking about how this race ended for weeks.

On another note, what a waste of a perfect race by Prost. He drove like a complete professor, absolutely flawless, and then he goes and pulls a stunt like that... such a senseless mistake.
Though, if you look at it from a certain angle, this might just breed even more tension and rivalry moving forward.

And let’s talk about that first weekend: a total disaster for e-dams. ABT has carved out a nice little lead over them now, so things are definitely going to get interesting.

Setting aside the fact that he overshot the turn in the first lap and lost his spot to Rosberg.
And then there's the question of how Daniel Ricciardo managed to overtake Vettel and where exactly that happened.
Vettel made a mistake.
Why was Vettel struggling through the entire second sector—you know, the one with the corners where he's supposed to be a master?
Why was it so obvious on the broadcast multiple times that his car was sliding terribly on corner exits? Just to point out, Ricciardo didn't have that issue at all.
Vettel didn't drive an "excellent" race by any stretch of the imagination, let alone a top-three performance. Fighting for fifth was fine, but he was on softer, newer, faster tires; frankly, he shouldn't have been fighting for fifth at all—he should have been on the podium if he'd truly driven a great race.

If Vettel was right behind Rosberg with a broken wing, in my opinion, it was basically an open invitation for someone else to win. He messed up and lost his position to Ricciardo.

Look, I've already said it: I'm not a fan of Alonso, nor am I a fan of Vettel. But your constant bashing of the winner and your claims that he can't handle corners—while Vettel makes mistakes in the turns two races in a row—along with the idea that Ferrari is the fastest car simply because they have the highest top speed... all of that is really grating.

You completely dodged my question. I was strictly referring to that last quote, but you managed to dump an absolute mountain of nonsense on me earlier, so I’m just going to ask again, nice and simple.
Where exactly did Ricciardo outshine Vettel, and by what means?

As for Magnussen’s penalty, I’m not even going to bother. The stewards made their call, and it’s the same story we saw at the start. Anyone actually following modern Formula 1—if they take a second to look at how decisions are being handed out lately—can form their own damn opinion.

I can't say for certain, but if my memory serves, the last time they slapped a penalty on that specific strategy was when they were running Ferrari, though Kimi Räikkönen was the one stuck in the middle of that mess...
