The race would have been significantly more interesting if Vettel hadn't been left in the dust by that Renault engine once more. As it stands, Mercedes pulled off another one-two, as the English brothers might say.
Renault is still struggling immensely with reliability: only two drivers using their power unit actually managed to finish the race.

Actually, looking at the results, it seems like there were three, based on what I'm seeing 🙂

I only caught the first part of the race up until the first SC, so I won't be rambling too much—other than noting how much Grosjean surprised me with those points. He was already a lap down somewhere around the time of that first SC. An excellent result and a massive achievement considering how uncompetitive Lotus looked during Monaco.

You can’t help but love this group; the sheer amount of wild combinations spinning around in this final round is absolutely insane.
It’s such a shame that Clark is sitting on so few minor points, because I honestly think that’s what knocks him out of the running for a qualifying spot. If he were closer in the standings, a win in the final round combined with a chaotic points distribution for everyone else might actually land him in second place.
I am seriously counting down the days until Canada 🙏

Look, I’m convinced that initial mistake was just a fluke, but what happened afterward? That was straight-up dirty and almost certainly intentional. For crying out loud, no kid would have thought that bringing it back meant anything once the clock had already run out.
