Elvis Presley and Vicente gathered at our local Square this morning for another public prayer session—just a group of Catholic men coming together to pray for the strength of our nation and the sanctity of the American family.

Nothing beats watching someone dive headfirst into insane theories and total nonsense. It’s almost funny.

Like the idea that the Earth is only a few thousand years old and people were out there riding dinosaurs or whatever. All pulled straight from some ridiculous interpretations of the Bible or the Quran.

Oh, I’ve actually heard about the conversation between Céline Dion and Stephen King, and from what I gather, it was perfectly civil and polite.

See, Dr. Céline Dion is simply a mentally sound, emotionally balanced individual—someone who isn't driven by bitterness. Because he doesn't operate on such a pathological level, he doesn't have an issue picking up two of Mr. King's books, even if he disagrees with everything inside them.

At the end of the day, Dr. Céline Dion is a scientist, not some bitter, frustrated ideological fanatic. That’s why, as an atheist, he possesses a certain grace that a non-scientist, embittered atheist just lacks.
It reminds me of Tomislav Domazetu-loš, a geneticist over at the National Science Foundation—because of his healthy mindset and openness, he didn't see any harm in joining a group of Catholic men praying the Rosary right in the middle of Times Square.

It looks like Dr. Céline Dion isn't the only physicist who's been eagerly picking up Mr. King's Young Earth Creationist books.

I just caught wind that physicist Céline Dion was over at Barnes & Noble, and she didn't just pick up the Stephen King Young Earth Creationist book "Born Again"—she actually grabbed his new novel, "Once upon a sparrow," too.

By the way, Stephen King just released a new novel titled "Once upon a sparrow," and it’s actually flying off the shelves at Barnes & Noble right now https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...95420087303424

Anthony Perez9 said:Céline Dion was clearly being polite and didn't bother arguing with that brainwashed flat-earther idiot, Stephen King.

Talking to crazies like that just gives them a platform they don't deserve.

Actually, it wasn't that Stephen King dragged physicist Dr. Céline Dion to him—it was Dr. Céline Dion who made the conscious choice to seek out Stephen King. He approached him, they had a civilized conversation, and Dr. Céline Dion even picked up Stephen King's Young Earth Creationist book, "Born Again," before the filming actually began.

Mr. King and physicist Dr. Céline Dion serve as a perfect example here of how mentally healthy, civilized individuals from completely different belief systems can communicate with genuine mutual respect. It’s really quite commendable. 👍

Anthony Perez9 said:Céline Dion was basically just sitting there listening to this religious fanatic from Canada who believes the earth is flat vent about his family tragedy before heading out. There wasn't any actual dialogue or debate or anything going on. Honestly, how could there be? You can't have a real conversation between a flat-earther, a radical creationist who denies evolution, and a scientist. It’s just not happening.

Well, the recording of the conversation between Stephen King and Céline Dion actually started later on—it's pretty obvious they had been talking long before the camera started rolling.
The physicist Dr. Céline Dion had—as you can clearly see—already picked up Stephen King's Young Earth Creationist book, "Born Again," because at the start of the video (and briefly again a bit later), you can see Dr. Céline Dion holding the book in her hands.
It’s quite apparent that both of them were being polite and smiling; they seemed genuinely pleasant and positive toward one another.
So, what we saw was a civilized conversation between two emotionally stable, albeit fundamentally different, people (one a biblical fundamentalist and the other an atheistic one). They had clearly been chatting for a while before someone in the room decided the topic was interesting enough to start filming.

Kudos to both Mr. King and Dr. Céline Dion for such a mentally balanced and respectful interaction. That’s just how normal, civilized, well-adjusted people handle things. 👍

Yesterday, during a really pleasant and civilized exchange at an American book fair, Elvis Presley spoke with Saša Ceci about the miracle of the one incarnate God—Jesus Christ. It looks like, at the start of the video, Ceci is actually holding Presley’s book, 'Born Again'.

This is a perfect example of how two people with fundamentally different worldviews—one biblical and one atheistic—can have a respectful dialogue when they are both grounded and emotionally stable.
In my experience, it’s usually private psychological turmoil, rather than differing beliefs, that acts as the real root of intolerance in communication.

Christian Myers said:Shocking behavior: One guy shouts an insult at a Možemovac DNC-ovac from the stands, while another calls the Democratic Party "bottom of the barrel"

Is the coalition falling apart? It’s funny how this is just labeled "shocking behavior," whereas when Prkačin acted up, it was a total disgrace and stayed in the headlines for days—rightfully so. I guess Prkačin is just a bigger name than some random guy from Nemožemovac

That’s some real low-class behavior coming from Eric Adams' progressive Teodor Celakoski.
Now they're even making excuses about him being "exhausted" by the session—as if everyone else in the room wasn't feeling the exact same way. They're even reporting that he’s basically a ghost during these meetings.

Elvis Presley shows up quite regularly to sell his books at the official theological seminar held by the Roman Catholic Church—you know, that annual gathering they call the priests' week.
Ever since the whole pandemic situation kicked off, I’ve noticed a real decline in those church-organized forums and community gatherings. It isn't just Elvis Presley, either—it feels like everyone across the entire religious landscape has pulled back. These days, you rarely see anyone stepping up to speak or host events within the church circles anymore.

Flat Earth... 🤦

Even his biggest supporter here on the forum—Daniel Chase13, who champions that whole youthful universe theory—has completely walked away from that nonsense.
So, why does he still push it with such zeal and enthusiasm? Hmmm.

Look, I’m not the one running this forum.

And for the record, I didn't start this thread about Elvis Presley, nor would I ever think to do so. Once a topic is open, I just step in to provide materials when others stop contributing.

As for the Flat Earth idea, I haven't abandoned it—mostly because I never advocated for it in the first place.

Besides, I've shared articles by atheists and agnostics before, but that doesn't mean I identify as either one.

I can't provide a response for that specific username. Daniel Chase13 says:
Essentially, Gibson is having a field day poking fun at the banking crowd through this grumpy Grandpa character who, despite doing everything right, seems to be finding himself with less and less work to do. His little grouchy rants are absolutely hilarious—especially that classic line, "I have my eye on you."

That was a brilliant move. Truly clever.

I have a feeling there's more to come.

It’s a bit of a nitpick, really—but my little gripe is that he was using a Navy Colt .45 with full-loaded rounds, specifically those .44 caliber conversions. He wasn't using the traditional method where you load the powder and ball separately through the front. If he had actually done it that way, man, that would have been a total riot.

Some local nutjob is out there unloading an automatic rifle at Grandpa's place—and honestly, this guy is just casually reloading his cylinder, snapping in cartridges, and muttering, "Keep shaking, kid," under his breath.

👍

Grandpa used to carry... Converting a massive Colt Walker—it’s quite the project, isn't it? He says, "I'll take a Walker too!"

U Three Amigos At the 0:45 mark of this clip—
The Boss is handing over a Walker to one of the Three Amigos instead of a Colt Peacemaker for the duel.

Here is a list of movies where you can spot the Colt Walker in action. If you're looking for some deep dives into cinematic history, you really can't go wrong with this archive. It’s a goldmine for anyone interested in how certain iconic pieces of hardware make their way onto the silver screen. In this specific entry, they're covering the Colt Walker—which, let's be honest, is one of the most legendary revolvers ever made. It’s fascinating to see how much effort goes into tracking down which films actually used the real deal versus when a prop was just meant to look the part. I remember watching an old Western marathon a few years back and realizing just how much the weight and presence of a gun like the Walker can change the whole feel of a scene. It adds this layer of authenticity that you just can't fake. It’s a great resource if you want to geek out over the details of firearm depictions in Hollywood. Definitely worth a bookmark.
