.. I think I follow.. and I'm inclined to agree quite a bit..
.. For me, the body is far more vital.. the brain is secondary, really.. (.. the brain just processes sensations and maps out responses.. and it seems to establish these definitive patterns pretty early on—just so it doesn't have to overthink everything constantly..)
.. Well.. I suspect older generations didn't use the word "mind" the way you do.. it was used more in this sense: thought, mind, consciousness.. (.. somewhat akin to how people in the East use "Om"..) .. And even regarding the body, it feels a bit more complex.. if we want to prioritize it, we need to imbue it with a bit more life..
.. But.. honestly.. I'm not against the spiritual component either—not if it’s proven to be such a clear part of the human experience.. I wonder, though.. could it become even clearer? But.. that's a different conversation entirely..
.. Regardless, yes.. the body is the foundation we need to build upon..
.. Dan... this looks pretty interesting.. does it lead to any specific conclusions.. regarding the future.. perhaps..? Or.. could we expand on this somehow.. just so I can get a better sense of it..?
.. yeah .. it might start to become pretty clear to you that free will is an illusion .. follow this line of thought ..
.. you aren't a thing .. you're a process ..
.. you're a process within this flow .. a state of equilibrium .. that’s constantly being disrupted .. that disruption triggers a need (.. people say .. you need water, love, companionship, money ..) .. that need sparks a desire .. and that desire drives action .. all in an attempt to restore balance (.. or as neighbors put it .. getting back to "normal") ..
.. it’s all just biology .. once the process is sufficiently ingrained .. you don't really have any choice in the matter .. whether it's "free" or not ..
.. when it isn't fully set in stone .. you can make choices .. sort of .. on a trivial level .. like picking out a shampoo, for instance ..
.. choosing a shampoo isn't freedom .. it isn't an expression of my will .. it's a conditioned reflex .. much like how your mouth waters at the sound of a bell .. Pavlov's dog style .. .. damn .. so .. dying for a cause is just part of the groove .. the human trajectory .. dying for your country is the same .. and picking a shampoo is too ..
.. so .. one thing is certain .. you don't have free will ..
.. I don't have any experience here—not really—but I’m definitely interested... .. do you have any specific parameters in mind... what exactly are you looking for? .. maybe a buddy and I could pick up something small... kind of like a hobbyist setup... though I'm not sure we have the capacity to actually get things running... .. if you can tell me where you're starting from—and what your goal is—we might be able to talk... I'll be honest, I'm a bit out of my depth. I've worked extensively with mechanical systems—I'm a machinist by trade—but electronics isn't exactly my forte. My friend is an electrician, which helps, but I'm not certain that's enough to bridge the gap...
.. neither fascist nor communist .. just .. Catholic and a drinker .. ? .. reminds me of the good old days .. (.. by the way .. I noticed a hint of genius in you right away too .. what can I say .. we're cut from the same cloth .. we recognize our own ..)
.. in my view .. if you were some nobody or just lacked polish back when you were picked as a moderator .. that history gets wiped clean .. .. think of it like a mayor .. once you hold the office - you are the authority - you have the stature - nothing else really matters anymore ..
.. and as for .. deleting the old stuff .. that would be for the best .. if it were up to me, I'd vote to wipe it all out .. .. I actually asked for that once before .. requesting they clear the slate .. but they wouldn't budge .. claiming it was for the "greater good" .. do you honestly think this falls under the greater good? .. what kind of nonsense is that .. god help us ..
.. there are no dice.. everything that happens has to be this way.. there simply isn't any other option.. .. and he was right about that..
.. but.. that kind of absolute determinism—it isn't entirely of this world.. and no physicist could ever admit to that space.. that exists outside our reality yet still acts upon it.. because if they did, they wouldn't be a physicist anymore.. .. it's impossible for Einstein to say.. it's possible to turn water into wine, and here’s how.. you transform yourself into Jesus.. Jesus turns the water into wine.. then you transform back from being Jesus into yourself.. and suddenly, you're standing there with wine that used to be water..
.. Einstein once said that God doesn't play dice .. as if .. as if God actually knows what He's doing .. and isn't just gambling on whatever happens ..
(.. in Genesis .. I think it says .. God created things .. and then .. looked at them and saw they were good .. almost as if He was a little surprised by the result ..)
.. but regarding Einstein.. .. I think he was both wrong and right .. at the exact same time ..
.. I believe his point was that there must be a causal link .. always .. .. it shouldn't be possible for something to just appear .. out of nowhere .. without a cause .. .. and that's where he missed the mark .. it is possible for something to come into existence in a way that leaves us completely clueless about its origin ..
.. yet at the same time, he was spot on .. whatever did come into being had very clear, definite causes .. they just weren't originating from within his own world .. .. I think anyone who catches a glimpse of the edge understands this .. everything is logical and follows set laws .. it's just that those laws belong to another realm ..
.. which means the real question is which world Einstein belongs to .. .. and since he's from Earth .. well .. he got it wrong ..
.. you don't know the half of it... don't go thinking you do... just assume you don't, then when you finally see it, it'll click... everything's burning at the peak now... but that doesn't really matter...
.. I get what a signature or a badge means... it's not true that I'm blind to things... damn... some details slip past me—I'll admit that—but I do know my fair share
.. the voices... obviously... don't waste my time with those trivial corrections
.. hell... the truth is I'm not much of an observer... I would've never noticed those three... sent my way by some jerk god... I'm only just seeing them now .. damn it... look at how they're positioned... one's standing out in the sun... all alone... the second one's a believer... and the third is completely off the grid
.. honestly .. just go screw yourselves .. you and your so-called "normal" world .. (.. did you actually show up to vote .. ? .. were you even able to pass anything at all .. ? ..)
.. stop looking .. seriously .. for some kind of hollow, bird-brained charisma .. the capacity for enlightenment separates you infinitely from this endless craving for a mission .. it's just concentric circles of stupidity and ignorance, like rings on a tree .. but hey, who’s singing that old tune .. > who the hell is playing that? .. you know the song, right?
.. have you actually read Stendhal’s *The Red and the Black*? .. well .. that isn't anarchy .. .. see .. it’s all about the sequence .. old priests followed by revolution .. that’s the order .. clergy then revolt .. .. it’s that kid who knew his Bible inside out .. that book .. and the essence of the book is that it .. created itself .. well .. it didn't create shit .. but you could argue it .. created .. which is .. quite the joke in itself .. .. if you start reading, watch out for the little details .. .. you can't really wrap your head around American elections unless you understand the small stuff ..
.. you aren't an anarchist? .. damn .. then why the hell are you acting .. important?
.. anarchy is the opposite .. .. it’s a sequence .. from red to black, practically .. darkness stained by blood .. didn't you know? .. and the letter .. do you even know the letter? .. you don't? .. well .. it can't be 'A' .. because 'A' is Allah and Elohim .. .. even though 'A' is also the howling of wolves .. so stay cautious .. .. anarchy is 'N' .. like night, like *nuit*, like a note, like nothing, like no hope .. you didn't know that either? .. most importantly, I haven't told you .. you can't hear it .. damn ..
.. you aren't an anarchist? .. I'm looking for people .. damn .. you don't even know them?
.. a long title .. regarding the mathematical philosophy that has brought the world to its knees .. right behind the ribs of some guy .. he managed to screw himself over .. leaving the world with so much empty space .. that it threatens to .. like some damn bomb .. collapse in on itself .. like a black hole .. or a short title .. about magic ..
(.. I have to play around a bit .. tweaking titles and topics .. making sure .. goddamn it .. they stay interesting .. because the feeling of .. whether I get deleted .. moved .. or praised .. needs to be as complete as possible .. that is .. as juicy as it gets .. filling my mouth and my gut .. hell take it .. as the song says ..)
.. I think our trust in science is absolute .. essentially limitless .. and that a nasty attack on that trust .. and on us as well .. would turn into a conviction .. that they hold all the cards ..
.. on the other .. hand .. all that religious ceremony and church bullshit .. makes me sick .. so much so that I can't even string two coherent sentences together .. immediately those things rising from my gut start choking me .. I can't even catch my breath
.. God forces himself into the world .. like he's forcing his way into a canyon .. into a hole .. in the sky .. and .. this bastard God has all the characteristics .. typical of a god .. which is quite interesting ..
.. Science looked for mechanical solutions .. .. the guy behind a certain state .. a certain scheme .. a certain flow .. accepted results with confidence .. it never occurred to him to philosophize .. they would say an atom .. great .. an electron .. great .. this goes here and that goes there .. and the guy just listened with his mouth wide open .. like a cartoon character .. great .. but .. in reality it was philosophy .. the study of things .. that needed to be pushed .. so they could move .. rotate .. grow and flourish .. or even think
.. nobody ever knew who was doing the pushing .. or what kind of force that was .. and nobody ever took me seriously when I spent forty years suggesting that all these bullshit energies should simply be called God ..
.. also .. damn it .. I think it is possible .. to slice through the sky like a knife .. creating a hole in it .. up there .. in the heavens .. just like the gaps between particles of dark matter ..
.. I still wonder .. if there is some son of a bitch out there who could prove to me that God doesn't exist .. because if God really doesn't exist .. then screw him .. we'll have to invent one
.. I think it's stupid to still be wasting time trying to break the world .. I think broken matter is a fact .. I think the essential thing is the breaking of the man .. of oneself .. and fuck it .. trying to walk .. on the edge of a knife
.. well .. damn .. what would be .. sufficient for now .. is this assumption .. democracy is a fragile system and it has to collapse .. dissipate .. crumble .. on its own .. it’s a neighborhood where internal order simply won't allow for a future ..
.. damn .. I wasn't sure if you felt the same way .. but .. purely from an anarchist perspective .. I'm trying to reach a standpoint where I just don't give a damn about having that opinion ..
.. anarchy is a world .. close to death .. an interesting situation .. .. and .. .. anarchy is a world .. with a different truth .. equally interesting ..
.. always .. damn .. keeping in mind that anarchy is a world .. of a solitary man .. facing the infinite ..
.. anarchy is a black world .. with traces of red .. a world of significant beauty ..
.. Biden is on the side of the old guard .. those old leaders used to crush dissent .. there's no way he didn't know that .. if he didn't, then he was an idiot .. .. the establishment elites .. they won't face justice anytime soon .. did their predecessors commit atrocities? .. they're waiting for better times .. waiting for a specific political shift .. so they can walk together .. even with the ghosts of the past .. they could all be united and fraternal .. even the old ways are fading these days .. provided the sky doesn't fall if all those giants abandon us .. .. imagine .. that .. this .. trio .. on vacation in Florida .. what a tourist season that would be .. .. swine flu in Mexico .. .. which of you would guarantee with your life that Americans haven't protested? .. Is that a conspiracy theory? .. You guarantee it so easily with your very lives .. because when it comes to the love of America and Motherland, you never doubt it ..
.. hey ... amigo .. you are a big man and you know everything of course .. but listen to me .. .. if you want to be a real gentleman .. just take it easy .. take it easy amigo .. and very slowly .. .. from the Rio Grande to Guadalajara ..
.. there’s this former mayor—I won’t bother naming him, though... not because of him specifically, but because everyone has names, and I just don't have the energy to go around throwing names around. I really don't. Even when things are going south—and they are—I just won't do it.
.. In my case, it's about my grandmother, which others have dealt with too. I'll just give some context, though I'll try to be thorough. .. She was part of that era—left the country back in '69, then things shifted again in the late '90s... or other times... like the old regime—good grief, how can I summarize all that madness in a few lines? .. Her son was a staunch Communist... yeah... that was the lineage I came from.
.. Damn it... those guys nationalized everything she owned, but her brother made sure to transfer everything from the kids over to his wife first—just so everyone knew who was actually in charge. .. Because if he hadn't... well, who cares.
.. Those Communist types were trying to sell the house—actually, more like hand it off to one of their own—but they couldn't at first. Not while the father was still alive, and even after, the mother wouldn't budge.
.. And so, our little local bureaucrats start the bidding process... trying to sell it to a buddy. They just announce it at the town hall in the next county over—nobody ever goes there, nobody knows anything. But... one guy happened to know. He says...
.. "I'm heading to the auction to buy that old lady's house—my own grandmother's place." .. It wasn't much to begin with. An old house. I bid twenty thousand dollars. This guy kept pushing, so I just walked away. To hell with it. I didn't need it anyway.
.. The terms were simple: whoever wins the bid has to show up within a certain timeframe and pay up, otherwise, the next person gets the right to buy it at that price.
.. So, I wait for the deadline. I go down there to check. People tell me he's going to take it—that he hasn't changed his mind. Did he pay? Yes. I can see for myself. Not today, though. Come back later and you'll see. .. I show up. Then I show up again. Nothing. No accountability whatsoever.
.. I go back, and suddenly—presto—here it is. He shows me proof that everything is settled. .. And the "proof" is just a piece of paper showing that the local brickyard approved a loan for this guy. Just a plain white sheet with several signatures on it. A commission approved it. .. The director of the brickyard, the chairman, and our local official—they're all friends. They all eat from the same plate. They all drink from the same glass. All part of the same inner circle.
.. Now, paying something off in fifteen days isn't the same as a fifteen-year mortgage, but I wanted proof that the municipality actually received the funds. That would mean the transaction was legitimate. .. And what stung the most was that the mayor was counting on me being an idiot.
.. I went to see a female attorney. I told her everything. I had the impression she understood perfectly—that we could fix this in fifteen minutes. .. Instead, she tells me that even if everything I said was true, a court might still rule that the house belongs to him. .. I quickly crunched the numbers to see what it would cost me—legal fees, my lawyer, his lawyer... .. I also got the feeling she would take the case, but wouldn't guarantee a thing. Honestly, it felt like she almost preferred that I just give up.
.. After that, I saw plenty of similar situations. So many people feeling exactly how I felt back then. .. I'd see articles in the papers about how federal prosecutors were building cases unfairly. .. But none of it really moved me anymore. .. Slowly, I was becoming an anarchist. I just didn't realize it yet.
.. I don't think anyone truly learns anything unless they feel it themselves. Millions of words don't mean a damn thing. .. Where it's been decided, it's been carved in stone. Like a knife cut.
.. Anarchy is a dark place, stained with blood. Damn it.
... yeah... I see how it looks to you... at least on that... first level... damn it... what I mean is that you—and it’s not just you—on that first level, you don't actually grasp reality... ... damn it... moving on... next... balance on that first level is death... nobody realizes that... just me...
... well, something else... but not quite that... something else... a third thing... heaven knows...
... I don't really watch TV much... but I always hear things that... well... I hear them... ... Berlusconi was talking earlier about founding... something like... a major party... and I heard him use this term... "folie déniée"... a kind of genius madness... ... it's crazy... I mean, do they not see what they're saying? ... he's a nationalist who drifted toward the center... like how a certain former leader here might have moved toward the middle... ... don't they realize that genius and madness is a classic pairing that has always defined dictators? People interpret "genius" as a man who sees more than the average person—someone who can organize the neighborhood better—while "madness" is seen as the sheer resolve, the strength and knowledge required to get things done... ... Benito and Adolf are... classics... the embodiment of that "folie déniée"... ... how can the pundits not see it...
... democracy... it's almost a perfect system... almost... damn it...
... people often think it's good to have two parties... left and right... like the Democrats and Republicans... they shadow and guard one another... like two snakes... slithering and crawling... one holds power, while the other watches closely... the moment the first one screws up, the other strikes... mark my words... ... though sometimes it's argued it's better if those two snakes aren't far apart... being center-right or center-left... because we are part of a neighborhood of a celestial proletariat... *gens una sumus*... ... that's how the Germans realized that in moments... when things are critical... historically recessionary or crisis-driven... and since Americans share a certain kinship, and governance should be... what was the word... coalitionist... or something like that... I don't know the German grammar well enough...
... listening to the pundits again... ... an old timer says it's not about the leader... he isn't some historical tyrant... ... the old man shows a picture of an empty balcony overlooking a plaza filled with crowds... I think it's a photo from back in the days of a certain populist era... like Times Square... ... the old man says... the neighborhood is waiting... someone will step out onto that balcony... because if the neighborhood wants someone, it will find them... someone always appears... they have to...
... at one point, the masses start thinking that having snakes on the left and right isn't the answer... they want a dragon... something to swallow it all up and set rules... clear and absolute... ... what I don't understand is this... in this America... wouldn't a little Adolf have plenty of things to clean up... to lie about... to bring into order?
... the old country used to be a brilliant place... there were various organizations... basic units of organized workers... some complex... some interest groups... self-managed... whatever you want to call them... ... our fiery dawns woke us from sleep... fiery mornings with smoke rising from chimneys... ... songs were sung in the collective farms... "I'm going there... where the girl lives... the girl named May... I love her..." ... and all of them were organizations like little snakes... or... damn it... like earthworms, if that's more your style...
... then this new... independent and sovereign... modern American state... which the old establishment managed to pull off... with my... well... help... against all odds... raised from the ashes... like a phoenix... ... that state... it has its charities and its churches ensuring no one goes hungry... distributing goods... bread and meat... and so on... it has everything... religious groups and secular organizations of all sizes... all for the good and prosperity of the American citizen... all following the "genius madness" of the Fatherland... ... I keep thinking about those symbols... and olive branches in cases... places like Cordoba... distant and lonely... though I know the roads, I'll never make it to Cordoba... I'm a poet... I recognize a certain dose of genius madness within myself... .. I wonder .. how much they actually pay those little church acolytes .. the ones working for the big donors and the local elites .. per year .. or however they structure it ..?
.. anyway .. let's get back to the main point ..
.. suppose the clients are all Masons or some fringe cultist youth group .. nothing but snakes in suits .. suppose the planners are just running their little "New Europe" schemes .. more snakes .. or any other breed of cold-blooded lizards .. even if the department heads .. the managers .. the priests and deacons .. are all just worms and slugs .. .. and let's assume our guy feels surrounded by this crawling mass .. feeling like one of them .. .. and that his only real sensations left are anxiety, dread, and pure fear ..
.. well .. now .. imagine there's no way for him to survive unless he makes friends with a snake ..
.. and I'll tell you what .. I'm thinking about it again .. because it occurred to me the other day .. that in all this writhing and slithering .. they aren't even real snakes .. they're just maggots and tiny little worms ..
.. you know that song .. the one that goes .. ready for dooooom! .. down at the spring of the creek .. brothers stood to defend our homes .. .. oh you volunteers .. we will find you wherever you hide .. .. you know that grim anthem .. about how you didn't make it then and won't make it now ..
.. I forgot the next verse .. but it starts like this .. .. dark nights and white roads .. calling to me from within .. drawing luck upon my palm .. which doesn't exist and never will .. hey .. it never will ..
.. my take is this .. friends .. it's all just chaos .. total anarchy ..
.. regarding Maya, everything is clear—there aren't really any issues there..
.. as for ideology, I’ve completely botched it.. I used a term I don't normally use—and frankly, I think I used it poorly.. .. eventually—once I can sort through my thoughts—it might actually be useful.. .. but right now, I’m lost on what the right approach is—so I'm dropping the term.. or rather.. admitting I don't truly grasp its meaning..
.. what I was trying to convey regarding the individual versus the system—versus the neighborhood—is this.. .. it's just like love.. precisely the same thing.. .. there exists a world of hatred, and then there is another world.. one that strives to balance out that hatred.. a world of love.. .. that second world is somewhat illusory—a dream of a different kind of existence.. the reason figures like Mother Teresa or Jesus Christ matter so much is simply because the world of hatred is so overwhelming--so pervasive..
.. the same applies to the individual within their community.. the individual has become such a non-entity that being told they have value is a matter of survival.. they need that sense of purpose—that illusion—like water.. mainly because deep down, they know they are nothing.. .. but that's exactly what paves the way for anarchy—because a person won't be able to endure that void.. that feeling of being nothing..
.. the same pattern will play out further down the line.. when it comes to truth..
.. my interest lies in reality.. as for what I would call "ideology".. I honestly don't know..
.. but more importantly.. where does a person stand when they find themselves alone against the system?.. what can they realistically expect?.. .. Maya did that—she's likely hoping for some kind of result.. .. whereas, well.. look at what I've done..
.. honestly, I don't think there’s a single soul out there who would actually be driven by that... individualistic ideology of yours. To me, it sounds like you're just describing some cartoonish fantasy—like something straight out of a Disney movie.. .. I have no idea what kind of ideology doesn't actually lead anyone anywhere, and frankly.. it's a bit strange to me that we're struggling to understand one another this much.. but.. I suppose it is what it is..
.. don't hold anything against him... he isn't to blame... he simply has nothing to offer...
.. about a month or two ago... there was this story in the papers... we live close enough to the area that I could check things out with people you might know... .. somewhere near a small town in the Midwest... there's this facility for people... well, those with mental health issues... .. a young woman arrived—a psychologist—and she was kicked out... basically because she wouldn't just play along...
.. during her short time there—maybe six months—she saw some irregularities... .. but... well, she actually saw them... .. it was in the news... a local paper covered it for two whole pages, plus a few smaller bits here and there... .. when the coverage was peaking, I read it. Afterward, everyone was talking about it. It felt like everyone knew what was going on—everyone except me, though I'm not exactly a news junkie... .. the director of the facility is tied to the Republican Party... she was key during the construction phase, and now she runs that place like her own private backyard. You don't touch a thing... .. probably because of how it was built. If she weren't backed by the GOP—if she didn't have those political connections—well, she'd probably think she's untouchable... .. as if some idealistic newcomer could actually take her down... .. it's just not happening... not even as a joke...
.. regarding the complaints against the director...
.. first... all these inconsistencies. Like how they only keep the elderly residents there, even though it's meant for the mentally ill... and cutting corners on medication and things like that... .. honestly... the guy who was involved in the construction project now has certain interests... he has an elderly relative who needs a home... and, well...
.. and then there's the workplace harassment... .. "harassment" is such a polite word. In a more blunt sense, it's psychological warfare—the kind of soul-crushing pressure that leaves a victim completely spent... .. there were some nurses who wanted to speak up, but even from their small accounts, it was pretty clear... .. one quit and is now unemployed... another moved far away for work... and she didn't do it because she thought it would be better there... .. one nurse said being around the director is like being with Mother Teresa, but once she leaves, you feel like you've just stepped out of a vampire's feast... .. after that, people were commenting on it, and the vibe really matched what was in the article. It also gave the impression that everyone knows the truth, yet nobody can do anything about it...
.. which puts that young woman who wrote the piece in a tough spot... .. she finished her schooling, she's an intellectual, she worked there for six months... she likely has some self-confidence and doesn't believe she messed up anything... .. she wants society to set rules and actually follow them... .. she found someone to write it up—some journalist—who probably just wants the fame. He's promising to expose everything to the world, hoping for his moment in the spotlight... .. the girl thinks she's going to move the state and the courts, while the journalist isn't risking a single thing...
.. but what can a young person like her actually achieve? .. only if someone else takes up her cause—say, a group like the Democrats... .. if everything she said turned out to be true, it would give them political points. They'd say, "Look, we won't allow this kind of thing in our state." For instance, a politician from Chicago might be quite vocal about it... .. why wouldn't they side with her? .. because they have other priorities. They can't afford to get bogged down in the details. Plus, for another reason... these political parties are like little fiefdoms. Each has its own institutions, each pays its own dues, and there's a balance between them that, frankly, shouldn't be disturbed... .. even when they do make noise, it's usually just about the spectacle—the shouting and the commotion—rather than any real attempt to fix anything...
.. the result of a story like this can be this... .. she can either find a way to align herself with a larger interest, or she'll end up on the street like some fool who tried to investigate whether a high-ranking official was embezzling funds... .. if anyone is willing to take her under their wing, she'll have to show her gratitude...
.. and... well... anarchy. How does one interpret anarchy? .. like this...
.. there is no social contract... no organized society... no rules or laws that actually apply to people, upon which a person like her could rely when she believes a process or an action needs to be regulated...
.. for instance .. Štef uses TV broadcasts to claim there was a theft at the truck depot .. he’s just hoping some local authority hears him and actually does something .. he's .. well .. the essence of absurdity .. on national television he's suggesting .. to the Department of Justice .. that regarding the murder of his buddy Pukanić .. they should interrogate his wife .. who is mentally unstable .. and who apparently called him privately .. so that he might call Pukanić privately .. asking if he'd be willing to give her some cash .. .. and Štef is the President of the United States .. so you can see where his head is at ..
.. basically .. a regular person can't count on the courts or the Constitution .. if they do .. they're going to get screwed ..
.. if she wants to survive .. she has to rely on some kind of street smarts ..
.. and another thing .. a person can't rely on .. the opinion of the average guy .. the reader, let's say .. because that man is totally broken .. stuck in a mouse hole .. barely managing to breathe .. and even then, he has to do it carefully .. .. those nurses who left .. they know this .. just as well as everyone else in the South .. it's impossible .. and you're just out of luck ..
.. the suggestion .. "fight for your rights" .. is a pretty damn terrible suggestion at first .. people lose their minds over it .. because they interpret it as just being told to go screw themselves .. .. I'm sure both Sanders and Jakovčić would give her that same advice ..
.. but .. that advice isn't entirely foolish .. at a different point in time .. when anarchy can be brought into play ..
.. I should also mention the man himself .. about the time I realized that only an idiot keeps walking that way .. it's not a path people rarely take .. it's a path people shouldn't take .. even though it's right there .. even though the priests and ministers advocate for it at every holiday gathering ..
.. individualist ideology... doesn't exist... .. that particular mindset is like some consumerist shampoo ad.. telling you that you have value.. when really, it just means a person has become painfully aware that they are nothing.. that they’re just trash.. so the system has to sell them a cure for it--some kind of repackaged nonsense.. .. human liberties are far more significant.. it's because of those liberties that Americans are willing to fight wars all over the globe.. they matter that much.. .. essentially.. it is perfectly clear to the individual.. to the American and everyone else.. that we've been reduced to dogs.. and the system has to struggle to find ways to fight against that.. and apparently, the best way to do that is by fighting in Iran..
.. and the shadow.. .. the shadow matters because of that whole thing.. being conscious or not..
.. let's look at how people connect.. in three distinct levels..
.. the first.. is straightforward.. a contractual association.. a group of individuals.. say.. working together on a job..
.. the second.. involves ideological.. logical.. mathematical.. or rational connections between individuals within society.. for instance.. a church is an institution meant to teach young folks to be moral.. or to believe in God.. a bank is an institution that provides loans and supports businesses and entrepreneurs.. then there's the Department of Education.. political parties.. news networks.. even secret societies like the Masons.. .. all these various organizations governed by some sort of logic or reason.. starting from schools and specific professions.. .. you can judge whether they are good or bad.. but they are practically subject to calculation.. their impact is ultimately measurable in dollars and cents..
.. the third level.. is emotional.. .. you belong somewhere.. and it isn't just about where you're from.. it's about who you *are*.. .. your emotional affiliation is the strongest hierarchy of all.. it dictates your thoughts.. your physical presence.. even your very existence.. your life itself.. .. it's the system of tribalism.. or old-school factionalism.. where you're among brothers.. .. it's like that regional mentality you see in places like Appalachia.. where someone says.. "I've got a guy from my hometown in Congress.. he'll walk in here and tell all these doctors what I think"..
.. that.. emotional.. person.. can reach different stages of.. their own reality.. .. at one point, they might achieve something.. akin to.. a shadow.. their own shadow.. .. we could perhaps talk more about that.. though I'm not sure if I've fully committed to that line of thought.. .. just this.. shadow.. which we can somehow.. move into.. seems to be like.. a collective.. neighborhood sense.. a feeling we manage to attract to ourselves.. to wrap around us.. and solidify..
.. for example.. when we shape a worker.. or define our profession.. we often act in opposition to it.. in those moments, we expand the individual.. through the idea of the community.. which expects a professor.. or an engineer.. to be a human being who also happens to know certain specialized things..
.. damn it.. the question remains.. why was Hitler bad.. if he was excellent on both the first and the third levels..
