The reality is, the Dodgers are the heartbeat of Miami. When things go south with the team, everybody feels it, from the kids to the old-timers. You can't deny the Dodgers have massive support from the local community. Unfortunately, you guys don't seem to have that anymore, right? Or maybe you did once? God, Thomas, we're really digging through the archives today...🙂

If the Dodgers were truly the most important thing in Miami, we’d have at least 15,000 people packed into our stadium every single game. Sure, the team matters during a big celebration, but look at the actual numbers—check the stock sales or the season ticket counts.
So, we're looking at maybe 5,000 die-hard fans for whom the Dodgers are everything!

Rest In Peace.
I honestly hope that one day, someone will be able to live life to the fullest just like they did with these things they've built.

First photo is top tier!! Even if someone tries to come at us, we aren't some stuck-up city dwellers.🙄

Just write down the kind of letter you’d want to hand to the guy at the stadium fence🙂,

2011 - 9,500 members in the organization

2012 - after electing a new president, membership drops to 2,500

2013 forecast - 200 members.

Now, why do you think that’s going to happen?

I've always wondered: why does an Ultras group even need a secretary and a president?
Honestly, I don't think membership numbers mean anything when it comes to the actual strength of a group. Why waste energy on such nonsense?

George Castillo142 said:Man, this is exactly what I mean... do you really think this crew is going to keep traveling for away games? We need our NFL Ultras behind us, period. Look where their attitude has gotten them...

If they won't travel because of this, then why bother? Besides, the North Stand shouldn't be some place where high school kids feel like they're at a Taylor Swift concert! Our NFL Ultras should be striving to make sure the general public actually loves us.

Keith Brown80 said:If these girls are actually here because they love the team and want to cheer, rather than just trying to show off or pick up guys, then I’m totally fine with it.

Good for them, I guess, but I’m just not a fan of seeing women at the stadium, let alone in the supporter section.☕ We all know where women belong, right?😁

If we're going for originality, why not just slap up a picture of Andrew Simica and two torches? Let's make sure those people without a lick of history realize exactly who our club owes its name to—the Yankees!

Screw the Greeks, the Romans, the Nazis, the skinheads... all of them. Why are we erasing our own heroes and our own history??🙂

👍👍 Now that is a brilliant idea!!

What is this guy Nikša talking about in the article? When they ask him about the Black Knights, that’s it. Everything. I knew this stuff by heart for years. "Young fans, kamikazes, throwing themselves into the fray, falling down, getting back up," and so on. Honestly, "mystic old school hooligans" is the perfect title for this thread. Back then, there weren't many photos or anything—just stories and memories you can practically feel. I was just over ten when this happened, and the Black Knights were my only heroes. They were the reason I started showing up to games a year or two later. At my first game, I was up in the North stands with my crew, and man, what a show. Olympique de Marseille! To some, they were local legends; to others, they were Superman, or legendary bikers, or a father figure, or an older brother, or famous soccer players. For me, it was the rivalry and the Black Knights. All these articles about the Black Knights from that Marseille match should be the cover story for every single one of our pages. Just that, and nothing else. If you weren't part of that, you aren't a real fan. Unfortunately, later generations became fans just for the party, the circus, the folk festivities, the "I'm from the coast" vibe. I could never wrap my head around that, let alone accept it. How does a hardcore group like the original Black Knights turn into 30-meter banners carried by every small town in the country? How does the number one hooligan and Ultra group in all of Europe become a synonym for a celebration, a carnival, or some random drunkard in a jersey shouting at a fairground? From being the kamikazes the media tried to smear—the ones whose presence made mothers hide their kids from the White Knights, while the press lynched them and the club feared them, yet every other fan deeply respected and admired them—to becoming this traveling circus of cheap props and media-friendly clichés... it's a massive shift. And even today, as things are finally moving back toward the right track, we are still outnumbered. There are way too many of these "other" types. Why? For how long? If you weren't there for the big matches against Marseille, you weren't part of the true Black Knights!

Copy from the forum, hopefully someone gets what this guy is trying to say🙂

The cheapest flight I could find out of Miami was $382.🙂
A flight from Miami to New York City is about $264, then you can just grab a train for about four hours up to Chicago for $59 one way.
