So you're posting a clip of Kimi's flying lap from qualifying and then trying to compare it to the actual battle for position during the race? It’s apples and oranges... There is absolutely no connection between a car being alongside you and the racing line. If you want an ideal entry into that corner, you have to move as far left as possible, and if someone happens to be sitting right there, well, that's on them, I guess...

I honestly don't see Mercedes or Lewis Hamilton having any kind of shot at overtaking Ferrari on this track today. If Sebastian Vettel manages to pull this off, I really think he might just walk away with the championship at the end of it all...

What a massive drop-off we’re seeing from Force India, and man, Williams is looking even worse. I really hope Force India can find their way back to the front, but honestly? I don't feel too bad for Williams. Let those guys just keep playing around with "racing drivers" who basically just bought their seats in the team...

Even Sebastian Vettel had similar telemetry curves and still ended up behind Lewis Hamilton.
Right before that second restart, Vettel was staying right on Hamilton's tail, and honestly, that changes the whole dynamic. Everyone is dialed in and hunting down whoever is in front of them. In a situation like that, Lewis does exactly what he did. To me, it looks like a blatant attempt to force a collision. 👎
But then again, what Vettel did immediately after that was even worse 👎

I'll dig it up when I get home, but the real kicker in that graph is that "steady deceleration"—it’s the complete opposite of a brake test, which is what everyone keeps insisting happened.

Kimi is being exactly who you'd expect him to be... I honestly hope this is his final season. I think if Nico Hülkenberg or one of those younger drivers were in his seat right now, they’d absolutely crush it.

Look, as much as I love the guy and I'm hoping this is his last run too, watching him play second fiddle to Sebastian Vettel is just painful to witness.

Such a dull race. I missed the last ten laps or so, but honestly, I’m not feeling it. Right after the start, the field just spread out and settled into a steady 1 to 1.5 second gap. After all that hype about how difficult overtaking would be, we might just end up watching endless processions instead of actual racing...
It really looks like Ferrari is the heavy favorite for the title this season. Part of me would love that, but seeing Vettel as the clear frontrunner makes it feel a little repetitive already...

It feels like Mercedes isn't quite the untouchable force they used to be. I honestly think Ferrari is going to give them a serious run for their money this year, and judging by how qualifying went, they might already be closing the gap. The only real outlier might be Hamilton himself, since he's basically in a league of his own on the grid right now...
I was really hoping Kimi would show a lot more pace today, but he was a bit of a letdown out there. Hopefully, things turn around soon

Based on what we’ve seen from these first two practice sessions, one thing is becoming pretty clear: Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull are still playing in a completely different league than everyone else. They just seem to be miles ahead of the pack... I was really hoping this season we might see Williams finally step up and join that front-running group, or maybe see Force India keep that momentum going with some solid results and the occasional podium. And honestly, since McLaren seems to be hitting a bit of a wall, I'd love to see Renault actually make some real upward progress for once. But hey, we'll just have to wait and see how it all unfolds...
