They’ve got everything under the sun—lemonade, coffee, you name it, they’ve got it all.

The name doesn't really matter; it's the substance that counts.
Besides, in a real American tavern, there's always room for everyone.
Whether it's joy or sorrow, depression or the bright sunshine, the moon, or the stars... there's space for it all.

I mean, he’s got plenty of that stuff lying around if you care to look.
But personally? Those classics from the eighties just have a special place in my heart.
Haha, man, he’s just the goat.
I mean, honestly, everything he puts out is top-tier.
Every single track of his seems to tell some kind of deep story.
I basically grew up listening to those classic hits from back in the eighties.
Like, those old school anthems...
Those soulful ballads...
Or even those tracks where you feel like someone's watching from above.
The stuff you'd hear blasting in a dive bar...
The moody, atmospheric ones...
Then later on, you had those more upbeat, rhythmic numbers coming through.
Which I guess is why some of the younger kids today
Are now getting into this newer wave of songs they play.
You know, all those high-energy tracks and danceable beats.
😍
Good grief, I think I just baked a total monster on this baking sheet.
Just so you guys can imagine the scent... it’s all organic farm eggs. It is absolutely heavenly.
Seriously, it's unreal.
Larry Perez69, you honestly reminded me so much of my late mother.
Back when I was growing up, we actually lived in a school building, and our very first neighbors were this elderly woman and her daughter, who was a widow struggling to raise five kids.
I mean, they were truly, deeply impoverished—just scraping by on nothing.
I remember my mother would often let out this heavy sigh and say, "Oh, those poor souls, they really have a hard road ahead of them before they meet God."
That just isn't him. Back then, everyone was rocking a beard, you know?
Maybe try finding a different photo. This one feels like they've fabricated a bit of a persona here.
Evliya Çelebi was this famous Ottoman traveler who spent his life wandering all over the place back in the seventeenth century.
Around here, we kind of use his name as a bit of a label for someone who just can't seem to stay in one spot and is constantly on the move.
I mean, honestly, my neighbor back in St. Louis would probably let you name your kid after Elvis Presley if you asked her nicely enough.
I honestly had no idea they did that in Germany too.
It turns out they can be just as naive as anyone else.
It’s wild. My mother-in-law was telling me about this one day trip she took once.
They were promised they'd spend the whole day swimming at some nearby spa resort.
But in the end, there was zero swimming. They just wandered around the grounds and had lunch. All that, though, because they were forced to sit through three hours
of lectures on how supposedly amazing some miracle cream was :rolleyess: And, of course, they ended up being pressured into buying the stuff at astronomical prices.
It was one of those "buy two, get one free" deals, where the first two cost more than a luxury steak dinner in Manhattan.🤦
loneridge6 isn't really making a big deal out of anything. At least they didn't lose a fortune, right? Besides, listening to those lectures is actually somewhat educational, I suppose.
It reminds me of how things used to be back home in the States. My grandparents would take us on these little excursions, and they’d somehow charm us into buying stuff that was probably worth maybe twenty bucks, yet they’d happily drop two or three hundred dollars on it. We're talking things like basic coffee grinders or just standard mattresses. That whole business model absolutely exploded across the country for about a decade.
Alright, here is one from Turkey

That’s exactly how it feels. My neighbor, who shares a backyard with me, basically treats my cats like they're her own children—she knows every single detail about their lives.
I usually just sit there nodding along while she gives me this exhaustive lecture on exactly how to fix some random feline ailment.

Anyway, I've got some rain and a little bit of wind over here today. Quick question though—is it okay to post pictures of my coffee in this thread, or is that considered way too much?
Man, I swear, even with high-quality Napa, some of these accounts just know how to stink up the joint. It’s honestly gross.
Well, let's just say it's a white coffee. I suppose if you spend your younger years draining liters of black coffee every single day, you eventually end up sipping on a white coffee in your old age. It's almost poetic, really.😍
Well, I suppose you're still young enough to actually enjoy black coffee without needing to drown it in sugar and cream.
Just like our old friend Ducek 😍 right, Ducek?
Look, there are definitely some of us out here who still prefer our coffee with milk.😍
I suppose we aren't exactly the spring chickens we used to be—we're getting older, I guess. We’re starting to lean toward those softer, milder notes. Drew Lee9, you’ve still got that youthful energy, so I suppose black coffee still treats you well enough.
Drew Lee9, milk foam.
Who's down for a coffee?
I woke up this morning to such a beautiful, crisp morning.
It was raining lightly during the night—honestly, kind of a vibe.

Drew Lee9, sorry, but which neighborhood are you hanging out in? Black coffee, no sugar... hmm, let me think...🤔
I can see you're trying to channel Đolet, but honestly, that guy had a massive sweet tooth.😍
