Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
You probably shouldn't have taken that second pill... but since you were throwing up this morning, I guess your hormone levels from the meds are actually fine!

I feel like there was way too much time between you taking that pill at 8 and throwing up at 2 for it to actually kick in 🤷 If I were you, I totally wouldn't take that morning pill again

As far as I know, both Chase and Bank of America offer a Spotify-style installment plan for debit cards, so you can basically buy things on credit through them!
Your doctor will be the one to tell you, but honestly, I think hunting for a specific brand is just kind of silly 🤷
They’ll probably have you go get some blood work done, and once those results are in and you’ve had a good chat, you’ll figure it all out together
Honestly, hanging out with Triquilar didn't make me gain any weight or give me more cellulite at all! 🤷
I guess it just depends on the person, everyone reacts differently to stuff like that.
So glad to hear that! 🙂
They told me I should just wait until my next period before starting again after taking a break...
Honestly, he used to be totally chill about doing any kind of checkups except for his doctor visits. 😢
Back when we were together, he was always so sweet. When I mentioned some health stuff going on in my family, he didn't even blink—just went ahead with the ultrasound, blood work, everything by the book... but now? It’s like I’m dealing with a complete stranger.

But hey, to be fair, regarding the actual exams, he isn't being rude or anything...
So, I just got back from seeing my GP. After two whole years, this guy won't even give me an ultrasound or a blood panel. He just did some basic paperwork and a quick check-up.
I actually asked him if I should get my blood drawn, and he was just like, "Nah." 😠 Like, excuse me? Does he realize how much can change in the body in two years? We’re talking hormones here, not candy! And honestly, when I first came in two years ago, he was actually pretty thorough. 😢

Whatever, I'm just gonna head to a private clinic now. I'll tell them I want a full exam and blood work—somewhere that definitely has an on-site lab—and I'll explain exactly why I need it...

Hey, let me know (or just shoot me a DM!) how the OB-GYN is feeling—is he being stingy with the tests and stuff? I have to head in next week too, just gotta figure out my work schedule first.

Did he send you to get bloodwork done? I've been on pills for two years now, and the last time I did full bloodwork and an ultrasound was back then. Nothing else lately, just a Pap smear.🙄
Sex is fine, but my OBGYN says no?! in Women's Health ·
Honestly, going to the dentist is way more traumatic for me than anything else! 😬

I honestly don't get moms who try to stop their daughters from seeing the gynecologist 😢

When I was 17, I just told my mom I wanted to start taking birth control (it was mostly because my periods were brutal, but she definitely knew I had a boyfriend at the time 😁), and she didn't even blink. She wasn't exactly thrilled, you could tell, but she never tried to forbid it. She just said it's my body and I probably know what I'm doing. I actually went to that first appointment with a friend.
Now, she’s actually the one encouraging me to go for regular checkups, which is hilarious since she’s one of those people who won't see a doctor unless something is seriously wrong! We’ve always been super open with each other, and I’m honestly so grateful we have such a healthy relationship.
So, it isn't just about where you grow up (and even though I live in a small town where everyone gossips 😁), it really comes down to the individual. (Seriously, I still have no clue where my mom picked up this level of tolerance and openness, considering she grew up in an even more rural area than I did 😁)

If he doesn't bring it up, I’m probably gonna head to a private clinic anyway just to get an "honest" checkup, so I'll definitely mention it to him.

Hmm, I guess he could, but I doubt he’d actually want to. Ask him though! Fingers crossed it works out 🙂

I'm lowkey wondering if they're gonna make me go in for blood work, since I've been on these meds for like 2 years now...

If your prescription was over a year old, they’d probably make you come in for a checkup and some bloodwork.
If it hasn't been that long, then (at least in my case) there's no big deal, I just get a new script sent over!

Honestly, I’m over Jessica too... they're fine if I just need something for overnight, but they definitely don't blow me away!

Is that http://www.ekorpa.com/img/images/ori...1/49192-1.jpg?

I might just have to go for it! It's been way too long since I've done anything adventurous 😁

Once I switched to Nature, there was no going back to Always 😱

I even gave Carefree a shot a while back—totally grabbed the wrong thing at the drugstore instead of my usual Nature stuff 😬—but even though the surface feels fine, they just feel way too bulky compared to what I'm used to 🤷

I also use wipes when I'm on the go and can't wash up, and I've never had any issues. Right now, I'm using Nivea

I've been sticking strictly to Nature Valley for the last year. They're super thin but absorb everything like a dream, plus they're so soft! My only tiny gripe is that I wish they didn't have that added scent, but honestly, it's not a huge deal.
I ended up getting a little bit too much too, so I started drinking. My logic was basically—any bleeding at all = a heavy flow😁.

Is it actually possible to make a payment without using that specific code when calling the number?

I was just trying to settle a bill using my banking app, and before, I used to start it with 02, but now whenever I try, it tells me the number is invalid. On that little side menu, there’s nothing about a two-digit code—just the full phone number itself.

I know for a fact that when I was sending money to my boyfriend, I didn't type any kind of model code and it went through just fine. Can I just do it that way again? 🤷
