(Personally, I’ve never understood why women put themselves through the struggle of wearing those things... 🤷)

But I'm a guy, so what do I know? 🙂

If I throw on some heels, I’m pushing 6'3".
In the dark, though...
You guys can't pull a fast one on me if you try.

But you want to... don't you?... don't you really? 😵 😁

Wear the heels. Hahaha, just kidding.

Don't push me. I actually snatched her pajamas. Just a little souvenir. They’re sitting right there in the closet now—freshly washed and perfectly pressed.
No way.

Well, they really are top-tier pajamas—they look fantastic paired with a navy blue robe and those cozy socks over the tights.

Just so we're clear, I'm reporting you. 🙂

And don't pull any more of your nonsense, or don't bother showing up at all.

Arthur Scott5 said:Why on earth would I troll anyone? I have been to the psychiatric wards at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA three separate times now, and my condition is honestly just spiraling further and further downhill. It feels like there is absolutely no help to be found. I am desperately searching for an antipsychotic that actually works, because nothing the psychiatrists prescribe seems to touch the problem. I am currently taking Haldol, Zyprexa, Faverin, Seroxat, Remerica, and several others, but I truly don't know what else I can possibly do. To be honest, I am terrified.

That sounds incredibly grim, but you have to fight with everything you've got—because you're fighting for your very life here.

They will eventually find a better medication regimen for you, but you absolutely have to be persistent—insist that they try introducing new medications if the current ones aren't doing the trick. If you aren't in a state to advocate for yourself right now, please, ask your parents to step in and fight that battle for you.

So, standing there by the monument, we were actually pretty easy to spot... I mean, restlesstiger49 is easy to identify with that long hair and those glasses, and while I’m a bit taller and broader than the average guy—plus, I’ve got my own pair of spectacles—Carl Rivera43 is just this skinny, younger kid. Honestly, it wouldn't even be a stretch to just walk up and ask, "Hey, are you guys the crew from the forum?"

obviously

We’ll all just be wearing those ridiculous blue pajamas you get at a roadside motel in rural Nebraska.🙂

Arthur Scott5 said:I suppose I go to Mass and pray to God and all that, but honestly, none of it seems to be helping. Today, I experienced a crisis where I was alone in my room, just falling apart, and I don’t believe in coincidences—let’s just say things happen for a reason. For instance, today I saw the exact same man in my own room who told me that if I don't lacerate my arms until they bleed, I would be forced to eat animals—specifically their brains—in order to acquire their power. Right now, I am searching for a new psychiatrist who will actually prescribe a standard course of medication, rather than what I have currently. With my current doctor, I barely get five minutes of his time before he hands me a prescription and tells me, "Just pray to God, He will surely help you." What more can one even say to that?

Are you actually this unwell, or are you just trolling us?

Nicole Barrett76 said:One cannot help but wonder: does this same miraculous logic apply when one is facing the complexities of schizophrenia?

To be perfectly honest with you—and I mean truly candid here—those psychotic thoughts and the deep depressions have largely retreated from my life. What remains is the OCD... though, frankly, I've simply learned how to navigate around it and live my life despite the constant mental noise.

Back in 2008, when I first checked myself into the hospital—it was quite a grim situation, really—I never could have imagined, not in my wildest dreams, that I would eventually feel this much better. Believe me when I say that.

Nicole Barrett76 said:There are absolutely no signs of improvement.

Currently, I can only see ten percent out of my right eye and a mere two percent through the left; can you imagine how much my vision is failing me?

Some fifteen to twenty years ago, my vision was still at twenty to twenty-five percent, yet I am constantly struggling with endocrine issues that I must manage with synthetic hormones.

I’m sorry, my friend—but then again, who really knows? Modern medicine performs miracles these days—sometimes it feels like we're living in a science fiction novel just to stay upright.

Nicole Barrett76 said:Not in any way, thank God.

Unless, of course, one considers the unrelenting and smoldering depression I endure due to my worsening physical condition.

What kind of illness are you dealing with? Is there even a glimmer of hope that you might pull through this?

I mean, seriously—where on earth are all these women in their 30s hiding?

To all my fellow folks living with schizophrenia... I have to ask—how much sleep are you actually getting? Is it enough to keep the gears turning, or are you constantly running on fumes? And more importantly, where do you stand on the whole concept of recovery—do you truly believe in a full healing, or are we all just aiming for a slightly more manageable version of "getting by"?

Jeremy Scott said:Exactly. They’re drifting toward your delusions and absolutely nothing else.

The man clearly wasn't in a full-blown psychotic break.

Carl Rivera43 said:I hope you're up for it! A few girls from the Psychic chat were actually asking about you.

Well, if they were so interested, why haven't they hit my inbox yet?

I’ll most likely be there.

I was wide awake by 3 AM—can't sleep when there's anticipation in the air—and since tip-off isn't until 11, I'm just sitting here counting the hours until I can finally get on the court and play.

username said:Honestly, things are going great—I actually had a two-week stretch of total, crystal-clear lucidity, which is basically a personal record for me. Now, I get these odd little thoughts popping up here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary... it’s fine. 🙂

Superman!! It sounds like everything is moving in the right direction. I'm genuinely happy to hear that. 🙂

placidheron7, how are things holding up?
Are you actually feeling any symptoms yet?

Carl Rivera43 said:16 on the road, but honestly, four in the driveway is totally fine.

Alright, now let’s check out the location.

Let's just hit somewhere downtown, like usual.

Hey, Carl Rivera43, you make the final call if everyone else is on board.

I’ve been hearing whispers that you’re trying to coax some of the ladies on here to join, and they’re being stubborn about it—not very polite of them, I suppose... anyway, I’m going to go catch some TV; I can't sit still, all this greasy food is making me feel absolutely terrible.

Take care, Carl Rivera43, see ya around.

I might be able to make it this Sunday, though—if I can swing it—I wouldn't be able to roll in until about 4:00 p.m. at the earliest.
