Is death actually natural? in Psychology ·
I honestly view death as nothing more than a transition point. I’ve stood right on that edge—face-to-face with the reaper—more times than I can count, whether it was during the war, through family chaos, or just growing up in an environment where life and death were basically playing tug-of-war every single day. But the absolute worst hit? Losing my best friend and her sister to their own father. I was only 14 when that happened, and by then, I’d already been through enough combat and family trauma to feel like I was flirting with death constantly. It turned me numb; a part of me just died right then and there, murdered by circumstance. I still have emotions, don't get me wrong, but I bury them deep. When people close to me pass, I cry alone in the dark, never letting a soul see. People love to throw around labels like "psychopath" or other nasty adjectives, but they don't know my history, my childhood reality, or the DNA I’m working with, so their opinions mean zero to me. Death is just a doorway because I still talk to my friend all the time—spiritually, we’re still totally connected...

Andrew Price3 ...honestly, I’m convinced we’re living in the Matrix. Just look at this pathetic excuse for reality and peep what people actually post about online. It’s just endless loops of daily grind bullshit—bosses breathing down your neck, a sick parent, a sister losing her mind, some guy cheating on his girlfriend... just shopping, kids being bratty, constant sarcasm and irony... all while people spread gossip and malice just to get ahead. Sure, you gotta work and make a buck, but I don't see the point because I know we're stuck in this simulation, this total void. I know there’s a different world out there somewhere. Look around you—really look. What do you actually see? It’s just makeup, materialism, mindless gossip, flashy TV commercials, and a bunch of drama queens and kings. It makes me want to weep... it's all a scam, from the banks to the predatory loans. what the fuck is all that?? I used to be right there in the thick of it myself, and at the end of the day, all you've got left is either a hollow skeleton or your soul. And yeah, esoteric stuff is just as real as colloidal silver cures or the Zeitgeist world we're living in. Aliens are real, my dear friends, but not everyone is one of them.

Andrew Price3, you’re basically the only one who isn't walking around with their eyes glued shut like everyone else. Honestly, thank you for that. You've got this warrior's spirit—pure, raw, and real—which is a hell of a lot different from the fake-ass personas most people put on. It's like they all wear these masks just to survive in this modern-day Matrix, thinking it's the only way to get by. But look around... what do you actually see? Just life and death, and nothing else. People build up these psychological defenses because they can't handle looking into the void, and let's be real: emptiness is just existence without any stakes. Life only feels intense when you realize death is right there with you, even if that weight is a massive, heavy burden to carry on your back.
I bet you’re just asking for people to laugh at you. Look, as long as you keep hunting, testing the waters, and refusing to quit on what you actually give a damn about, you're fine. Plenty of folks took the easy route, worked some mindless grind, and completely snapped because they couldn't handle the heat. Now they're out there cleaning sewers or something, probably feeling way more content. Honestly, maybe you should give it a shot in the States, since people actually make their dreams happen overnight over here.
Why do some people just cave to peer pressure? in Psychology ·
The craziest people out there are usually the ones pulling off the wildest dreams. It’s always those "normal" types trying to shove the visionaries into some tiny little box just because they can't wrap their heads around it.

It feels like almost every woman is out to snake another woman, and honestly, there are plenty of guys cutthroat enough to play that same game too.
Peak Performance vs. Reality in Spirituality ·
Thanks, but I already know all the answers. Honestly, it’s better just to sit back and keep quiet about them. This whole topic is an endless rabbit hole; no matter how deep I dig, the mysteries behind how this world actually started and why we're even here just seem to stay out of reach.
Peak Performance vs. Reality in Spirituality ·
I'm talking Freemasonry, Nietzsche’s whole Ubermensch vibe, and those ancient Egyptian pyramid mysteries. Where can I actually find deep dives on this stuff? Yeah, okay, I've skimmed through all kinds of random junk online, but I'm looking for actual, substantial quotes and heavy reading on the subject.

I’m not even sure which sub I should drop this in. Since I've been spiraling down the esoteric rabbit hole lately, I’m tossing this into Philosophy because it’s basically a massive onion with layers from everywhere—we're talking Freemasonry lore, Nietzsche’s whole Übermensch vibe, and the ancient mysteries behind the pyramids. Is a human being actually designed to unlock every ounce of their potential—to live authentically, doing exactly what they love and need to do without stepping on anyone else—or are we just conditioned puppets, brainwashed by societal norms and those low-level, bottom-tier Masons who wouldn't know truth if it hit them in the face? How much can we actually evolve our character? How many people actually have the guts to chase the Übermensch ideal... to become the sun, the peak, a higher state of consciousness in everything they touch? Most people can't handle not being jealous, petty, angry, or selfish while trying to constantly elevate themselves. And how do you make sense of it all—the wars fought for "greater causes," people dying for a flag, national pride, or some religious dogma? How do you wrap your head around the fact that humans are fundamentally greedy and selfish, trampling over everyone just to survive within a pack of similar predators? What kind of answers would the true mysteries provide—that hidden, sacred knowledge about sexuality and its raw power to elevate consciousness, or the surge of Kundalini energy? How do you find eternal freedom within yourself while still being stuck in a society that doesn't get it? How does a sensitive person just quietly suffer inside, constantly wondering why the world is such a mess? How do you stay an individual in a world that demands nothing but masks and uniforms?
Why do we feel the need to hide our emotions? in Psychology ·
It’s just straight-up internal pain and misery. Totally off-topic, and I'm done talking about it.
Why do we feel the need to hide our emotions? in Psychology ·
Most of my closest friends were brutally taken from me during the war, and growing up in such a violent environment left scars I’ve never breathed a word about to anyone... I just don't think people actually want to sit there and listen to that kind of heavy stuff, so I just handle it all on my own, playing my own therapist. But honestly? I can't help but feel like death is just one big release from it all.
Why do we feel the need to hide our emotions? in Psychology ·
Sure, but honestly? Death is the only thing I'm actually craving, even though I love living life

carpe diem :How much of our baggage do you think we actually pick up from our family dynamics when we're kids?

Honestly, pretty much everything. It’s like the entire blueprint of the environment you grew up in gets hardwired into your brain. Sadly, it shapes my whole damn life, and there are days where I seriously regret even being in this world because of it.

"Forget about being 'normal,' you either have what it takes to be a parent or you don't. Making a kid is the easy part—any idiot can do that."

I'm right there with you. Any moron can knock someone up... honestly, where is this world even heading? Parenting isn't for everyone, but some people just refuse to admit they aren't cut out for it.
Friendship and common ground in Psychology ·
That’s just your typical ego-driven American right there—acting like they're some genius who’s seen it all when they’re actually about as bright as a broken bulb. You hit the nail on the head: they aren't looking for feedback or trying to help, they're just flexing their muscles to try and talk down to you. It's nothing but pure haters and trolls through and through.
Friendship and common ground in Psychology ·
Honestly, it’d be a total win if people actually took their Halloween masks off instead of just throwing them back on again
Friendship and common ground in Psychology ·
What’s your take on people who constantly play down to someone else's level, whether they're dealing with a total pushover or actually someone smarter than them? In the first case, they’re basically just looking for easy prey—someone naive enough to be a perfect target for manipulation, whether it's an employee, a partner, or just some friend they can twist around their finger. But when they run into someone truly sharp and genuine, they pull this fake act where they pretend to be just as smart just to fit in, even though they're totally different underneath. It’s all a game. What kind of people actually click, and why? Is jealousy baked into our DNA? And honestly, how many people are actually real once they strip away all those social masks we wear? Why do we gravitate toward certain people while ignoring others? Do you guys actually respect people who are smarter than you? I was just hearing this story about two high-flying narcissists in the corporate world who were supposed to be best friends, but it was pure poison. One was constantly sabotaging the other, stabbing him in the back, and turning his back the second things got good—he just couldn't stomach the other guy having more success. Can two powerhouse personalities ever actually be true, honest friends, or are they always going to see each other as threats? What is the human psyche actually made of? Are any of us truly equals?
Are people born good or evil? in Psychology ·
Evil is just a byproduct of all those subconscious patterns we pick up during childhood. People didn't get the love or attention they actually needed, so they end up projecting that void onto the world through judgment and a deep-seated hatred for anything that doesn't mirror themselves. They’ll kill just to prove they were right, because at the end of the day, they don't hate the world—they hate themselves. That’s how you get wars and murders, plain and simple.

Nicholas Barnes52, come on, man, quit playing—what's the deal with this quote: "A flirt's job is to charm every lady he meets, while staying faithful to absolutely none of them."
