Someone should just add a little speech bubble above them that says "anti-capitalism"!
🤣

Apparently, I don't have to be strictly housebound—I can actually head out into nature or something, as long as I stay away from crowded spots. And get this—it looks like that woman who came by our office doesn't even have COVID.
Honestly, it might actually be better this way! At least I’ll get a solid two weeks of distance from everyone, which is a relief because I feel like I'm starting to trip out a little from all the stress.
I guess I feel a bit silly for not just going to get tested myself, purely for my own peace of mind.
Lawrence Reed3 said:So, here’s the situation:
My job just called me tonight to tell me I need to stay in self-isolation for the next two weeks. Apparently, a client stopped by my workspace today who—according to her—had been over in Germany just last week. Since we have to report stuff like this to a specific department at the firm, I went ahead and did that, and now I'm stuck with this. In the meantime, I finished my shift, hung out with my coworkers, headed home, popped into the grocery store... honestly, I was right in the middle of a run when they gave me the news!
Is the self-isolation period mandated by an employer actually the same thing as the official isolation ordered by a public health official? And more importantly, if I get caught out and about, am I still looking at a fine in a case like this?
I mean, we don't really know anything about this woman—whether she actually was in Germany like she says, or if she's even tested positive or anything. There could be a whole lot of nothing going on here, really.

It’s a huge misconception. I’ve actually crossed paths with quite a few people who possess that kind of charisma but use it for genuinely good things instead of just feeding their own egos.
Melissa Brooks6 said:People like that? Honestly, they’re just what you'd call charismatic.
hiddenhawk3 said:I mean, fine 😁 I don't know, that's really the only thing you mentioned about being unique 🙂
Yeah, I guess. It’s probably not easy being an introvert these days.

Once a person finally gets their own internal house in order, that heavy weight of guilt—whether it's from something you did or something someone else pulled on you—rarely follows you around anymore.
And there’s really nothing wrong with leaning on that old prayer:
"God, give me the strength to accept the things I simply cannot change,
the courage to go after changing the things I actually can,
and the wisdom to always tell the difference between the two."

A Circle has no beginning, no end, and no exit—just some messy blur inside...
But a spiral builds on itself and keeps moving forward... 😁
As for the doubt, honestly, I think it's perfectly fine.
Everything stuck in your "head" can be worked through, you lazybones (welcome to the club)🙄
And you won't end up in an asylum because of it.
You'll eventually feel when it's getting to be too much and know when to stop.
Take a break.
Then pick it back up and blah blah blah... 😁
