Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I am looking for recommendations regarding which hospital in Washington, D.C. employs the most capable, or at least top-tier, neurosurgeons to handle an incredibly complex surgical procedure.
Well, here we go again!:9I just got my urinalysis results back today leukocytesat 4(normal range is 0-2)
epithelial cells at 9 per high power field (normal is 0-1)
bacteria:present in small amounts
Erythrocytes look fine.
The doctor didn't offer any explanation, so I am wondering if I should be looking into additional testing for a possible UTI or something similar? Thanks for the help!
Gary Reed9, I appreciate you getting back to me. I’ve been trying to manage my potassium intake by keeping it at a more manageable level through my diet. Honestly, I overdid it on the sweet potatoes two weeks ago, and now the mere thought of eating them makes me nauseous. Even as I’m typing this, I can feel that wave of sickness hitting me. Uhhh.
I’ve gone through several different brands of multivitamins, but none of them actually include any potassium. Unfortunately, my doctor hasn't gotten back to me yet, so I'm currently switching over to a new specialist. Hopefully, I can get a straight answer from them regarding whether it's safe for me to take even a quarter of a Kalinor tablet. THANK YOU!🙂
I was hoping someone could provide some clarity here: is it medically permissible to take potassium supplements during pregnancy if you've been diagnosed with a deficiency?

I was wondering if anyone could provide a recommendation for a general practitioner in Seattle, specifically in the western area—ideally near Viškovo if possible. I am looking for a doctor or doctor who is pleasant to deal with, doesn't make things unnecessarily complicated, and is actually still accepting new patients.
Many thanks.

I'll just provide the answer myself since it's clearly necessary: yes, it is.🙂
If anyone actually needs guidance on this, you can find the instructions from the IRS on page 44.🙂

Does anyone actually know if there's a requirement to report anything to the IRS when a business closes for a 15-day vacation? Do we need to file some kind of notice regarding temporary closure or add a specific note during fiscalization? None of this makes any sense, and frankly, these regulations are just pure nonsense.

I agree that civil servants should be relaying this information directly to management, but let’s be honest—they aren't going to do it. What we actually need is an organized association of accountants to step up, because the current situation is beyond ridiculous. We are completely overwhelmed, yet there isn't a single soul in charge who understands the scope of our workload or how much this profession has devolved. To make matters worse, whenever we call the IRS help line, they are utterly clueless; we've had to correct their misinformation regarding fiscalization multiple times ourselves. And of course, they still collect a full paycheck.
The absolute worst part is when we register employees through the electronic pension system and then have to sit around for days waiting for a confirmation that should be instant. It’s just one single click on their end! Is that supposed to be normal? Employees are constantly terrified that we haven't registered them, but we can't even provide certified documentation from the Democratic Party until some genius decides to finally click a button. They have gone out of their way to make our lives as difficult as possible, leaving us with nothing to do but vent to one another. The Onion, I absolutely agree with you!

Frankly, I have zero intention of correcting their data entry errors just because they were too lazy to input information properly in the first place. I refuse to perform labor that someone else is being paid to handle; I am not about to work for free simply because they failed to fulfill their basic responsibilities in the ledger.
I am also completely fed up with bank representatives sending business owners to accountants just to ask questions they should already be able to answer themselves. It’s infuriating when a bank representative sends a client my way to fill out a loan application—an application the bank then charges several hundred dollars to process.
I will sit back and wait for them to actually populate their own databases correctly, or until some official regulation is passed mandating that I do it for them. And knowing how things go, they'll expect me to do it for free again.

John Doe, you hit the nail on the head, silverbadger. They seem to think we accountants are just easy targets they can exploit for free labor. It isn't just the IRS or the big banks; even Social Security ends up dumping their paperwork on us. We spend all our time manually entering data that should have been automated, leaving us with no time to actually manage the books. We're essentially doing their jobs for nothing, and it's a total scam. I honestly wonder why there isn't a more aggressive professional association for accountants out there to call out how badly we're being screwed over.

I realize I’m not offering any direct solutions here, but I felt compelled to share this link to an excellent article along with the discussion underneath it. It perfectly captures the absolute nightmare we're all dealing with because of their application—especially for those of us managing complex client relationships, much like the author of the piece itself.

Ivy, it is simply because they abolished the corporate tax last year! 🙂

I appreciate the effort, Ivy. We finally pulled it off, though God knows how we managed to get that workspace designation accepted after a hundred failed attempts... it finally took a single unit.
Now we’re facing a whole new set of headaches because nothing makes sense. We have plenty of cafes operating on all sorts of different schedules regarding holidays and special dates; it's different every single time, and we have no idea how to input all of this ahead of time. The rules state we have to report every single deviation from standard operating hours no later than the day itself—but who on earth is going to manage that and file everything in advance? They've lost their minds. We simply don't have the bandwidth for this kind of administrative busywork when our actual job is the bookkeeping, which is what really matters. Instead, we're stuck doing everyone else's tedious side tasks... Ahhh, I just needed to vent. 😉 Thanks, everyone. Whatever happens, happens. 🙂 But honestly, you’d need a dedicated person just to track all this madness, someone who isn't even doing the accounting but is just juggling the electronic tax and pension filings. It's sheer insanity!

We almost managed to pull it off just now, but we're still hitting a wall at the stage where we enter the business premises code, which is number 1 . The system keeps flagging an error claiming a business space with that exact designation already exists. Has anyone else run into this specific glitch?

Additionally, regarding the activity code section, it keeps demanding both the start date for the OD and the start date for the DO ... I'm left wondering which date they actually want here. Is it the official commencement of operations, or just today's date? :-) Managing these dates is a total nightmare because their calendar interface is incredibly clunky—even on my machine, and I'm running Chrome... what a complete headache 😢

Larry Edwards3 ..we’re stepping back for now.. we decided to pass because we already have enough on our plates🙂 today is a break;🙂

Brenda Chase3 -.--from what I can see, we’re going to end up handling everything ourselves for all the clients, and there’s absolutely no mention of us being compensated extra for it.. though we never charge anything additional anyway.. Of course, we’re just the staff.. we don't make the executive calls... but it really wouldn't be a bad idea to charge more, considering we're essentially performing the duties of the Social Security Administration, health insurance providers, the IRS, and everything else in between; they've offloaded every single responsibility onto us.. and now they're adding this to the pile!

I am at a complete loss here because nothing about this system seems to make any sense. For instance, when we attempt to enter a business space designation marked as number one, the system immediately flags it, claiming that a space with that specific designation already exists. Has anyone else run into this particular roadblock?

We haven't been able to determine if this is an issue stemming from Chrome or Edge, but even on mobile, nobody is getting a response. We actually managed to successfully input some data for one client, which allowed certain details to save, but that was a fluke.
Every single time we attempt to file for a different client, we encounter a brand new hurdle. Take this one case: a client owns both a coffee shop and a gym at the same location. They operate on entirely different schedules—the coffee shop is open from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM, while the gym runs from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturdays. The interface only provides a single field for operating hours, making it impossible to list them separately for the cafe and the gym. It is a total mess. If anyone has dealt with this exact scenario, I would appreciate an explanation. 😢 Everything is located at the same physical address and falls under the same business premises.

Larry Edwards3, you're right... it isn't working for us either. We've been trying everything, but we're getting nowhere. And what exactly are we supposed to enter in the opening date field? The system is forcing us to select today's date, which makes absolutely no sense if we're trying to input the actual start date of operations.

It’s clear the system hasn't actually gone live yet. Did you happen to get someone on the phone who could confirm that this functionality is still broken?

At this rate, how are we ever going to finish entering all this data for our entire client list? They are losing their minds over here!
I really appreciate it, Angela Wright. I had honestly assumed that participating was strictly limited to those specific clinical trials—the ones you mentioned to me just a few pages back in this thread. Let’s hold onto the hope that one day we’ll finally see a targeted cure for every single one of these cancer subtypes. Thank you so much for taking the time to walk me through all of this.
Greetings to everyone participating in this difficult discussion. Does anyone here happen to have any insight regarding this relatively new cancer drug called Keytruda? From what I gather, it is supposedly used to treat various types of cancer regardless of their location, provided the patient presents with a high number of mutations. Does anyone actually understand the clinical implications of that? I saw somewhere that it costs 15 $0.00 per pill. For instance, it says something like this here:

Is there anyone actually here?
