Breast pain/tenderness in Women's Health ·
Maybe try those mushroom extract capsules blended with Vitamin E—or honestly, just go heavy on the Vitamin E itself.
But look, you really ought to run it by your doctor first if you're on birth control or any other meds, because Vitamin E can thin out your blood... which isn't something you want to mess with without advice.
It worked wonders for me. Honestly, these breast pains? They don't always have anything to do with your circulation or hormones—sometimes they just *are*, and it feels like most doctors barely even grasp that or don't know how to handle it. I got lucky years ago and had a physician who actually suggested Vitamin E, and now they’ve come out with this new combo using mushroom oil. You can grab it at places like CVS or Walgreens, and a bottle usually lasts about two months $33... you don't need to stay on it forever, either. Just take it until the soreness dies down, then take a break, and just do whatever feels right for your own body.
Wage garnishments and collections in Law ·
Nah, they aren't looking for any kind of compromise... we're talking about a local utility company in some small town, where the director is also a lawyer and all that—and I’m pretty sure he’s got a little side deal going with a notary who’s clearly making a killing this way... It's obvious they start pushing legal collections the second you're even a couple days late on a bill, just so they can rake in those sweet notary fees 🙂

Honestly, sometimes I just want to burn everything down and buy a one-way ticket as far away from this country as possible 🙂

Does anyone here actually know if there’s even such a thing as a grace period—like, what’s the absolute shortest amount of time a debt can sit there before they’re legally allowed to start seizing assets?
So, here’s the deal... I got sued over some debt from back in June of this year, looking at roughly $67, and we’ve already had one court hearing 😲... Honestly, the money in my account isn't even the issue—they send out statements quarterly and this one just happened to hit right while I was on vacation—I could settle it immediately if I wanted to. The real headache is these massive fees they've tacked on top of everything... is there any rule that stops them from jumping straight to garnishment or whatever?
Anyone have experience with JP Morgan Chase? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
So, last winter I tried pulling a loan through JPMorgan Chase... At first, everything seemed totally fine—I mean, my credit score is solid, I’ve got plenty of collateral, the whole nine yards, and they tell me, "We'll be in touch in about a week." Yeah, right... Then silence. Total radio silence for nearly two weeks before anyone even bothered to reach out again... Typical.
So I head down to JPMorgan Chase, right? And this lady behind the counter—totally deadpan, too—just tells me straight up that we’re gonna have to stretch the loan out over a longer term because of my credit score... which, honestly, isn't exactly stellar, but whatever. It’s not really my idea, but hey, just give me the cash already. When you're trying to pull the trigger on buying a house, everything starts feeling like a massive existential crisis... just give me the money and let me deal with the fallout later...
So, she tells me—this lady from the bank—that we’re supposed to touch base next week so I can get all the paperwork squared away. And of course, they go radio silent again... typical. So now I'm stuck trekking down to JPMorgan Chase just to hear her tell me that I need to clear out every single cent of debt on my revolving credit cards before we move forward. Like, excuse me?! Are you kidding me right now? 😕
Fine, I'll get on that. I'll pull some cash together and just wipe the slate clean—close out all those debts once and for all. Of course, I’m making sure to grab a formal statement for every single card first... because you know how these banks are, always looking for any little excuse to hit you with extra fees... $17I mean... honestly? It’s just... yeah. Just like that. $33 So, the latest report from the NYSE just dropped... and honestly? It’s totally out of date. Typical. You can't trust a single number in there—it's basically useless. Which means, once again, I'm stuck doing the legwork, trekking from one bank to the next just to get actual, real-time confirmations of what's actually sitting in the accounts... what a complete joke... 🤣
So I show up feeling all optimistic—you know how it goes—and she’s telling me everything is just peachy, we’ll talk later, the usual... yeah, right. Anyway, to make a long story short...
So, they came knocking, trying to get me to move my entire checking account over to their bank—obviously, I told them to shove it. Then it was "Oh, you really need to get full life insurance through OUR provider," and "Why don't you just close out all your credit cards?"—not even talking about paying off the balance, mind you, but actually canceling the accounts entirely... like that makes any sense. And then—get this—they insisted on having one of their own appraisers come out to look at my house. The appraisal they handed back? It was somehow 30% lower than what I actually paid for the place. And the excuses they used to justify it were just... ridiculous. They claimed the windows were cheap PVC instead of high-end wood, said it was basic single-pane glass when it’s clearly insulated, and acted like there were zero utilities installed when everything is fully hooked up. To top it all off, they had the nerve to claim I still needed another $20,000 in work just to finish things up, even though the architect's blueprints alone cost me $15,000... and of course, they charged me a massive fee just for the privilege of giving me such a garbage estimate... $500.
And then they had the nerve to start breathing down my neck about that car loan—you know, the one that wasn't even a headache until suddenly it was... just one thing after another, I guess. 👎 So... after three months of basically being dragged along in this endless limbo—just constant stalling and nothing happening—she finally drops this bombshell on me. She actually looks me in the eye and says, "The truth is, we’re just really nervous because there isn't a husband in the picture and you're trying to take out a mortgage all by yourself..." I mean, seriously? After ninety days of playing games, that's the big reveal? It’s like she thinks I haven't spent the last few months wondering where the hell this was going... but no, it turns out it was all about my credit score and my lack of a spouse... unbelievable... 😕
You guys... I honestly couldn't believe my ears when I heard this. Seriously. I mean, look, I’ve got a pretty solid setup—I work at a massive corporation with over a thousand employees, full benefits, the whole nine yards... I even own my own house and have more than... $3.25 So, here's how I see it... looking at the net pay... the plan is to take out a loan for about two-thirds of the property value—you know, keeping things somewhat sane—while I cough up the other third in cold, hard cash. It’s safer that way, I guess. I'll be insuring the place, obviously, and making sure I'm covered too... just trying to mitigate the chaos of it all...
So, after everything that’s gone down...
I basically just gave them a big thanks for all the harassment—really sincere, too—and then headed straight over to New York City. And honestly? They cut me a check for the exact same loan amount with way better terms in less than a week. When you look at the math, those clowns actually cost me a few hundred bucks in unplanned fees... not even worth mentioning the sheer headache and the endless walking just to deal with their nonsense...

Home Savings vs. Mortgages in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
All I know is that Hypo dragged me through the mud for nearly three months over this loan... they kept spinning this whole "everything is perfect" routine, all while smiling at me like nothing was wrong, just to pressure me into buying extra insurance, closing out old accounts, and all sorts of other nonsense. They had me running around gathering statements from every other bank—and get this—they even counted my credit card limits against my debt capacity, even though the balances were sitting at zero. Just total nonsense... they kept moving the goalposts constantly. On top of that, they’d just go MIA whenever I tried calling them...
After two and a half months of being jerked around, they actually hiked the interest rate on me—claiming the new rate would apply even though I'd turned in everything ages ago—and honestly, I just snapped. I walked right out of there and headed straight to Chase.

Chase sorted the whole thing out in ten days flat, including the payout, and stuck exactly to the terms they gave me during that first meeting.
Not wanting kids: Is it just me? in Psychology ·
I don't want kids.
Honestly, I’m pretty much anti-child—I actively dodge any place where they hang out in massive numbers (think McDonald's, Grand Central Terminal, you name it)... And man, those women who lose their entire minds after giving birth? It drives me insane. They act like they can't read anything anymore that isn't about their precious little baby.
It makes my skin crawl—and honestly just pisses me off—when I'm at the salon and two moms start deep-diving into every single detail of their labor... excuse me, but I really, *really* don't care how dilated someone was, or the specifics of the tearing, or how many stitches they had to get... 🤮
Don't even get me started on the people trying to lecture you about how "it's a duty" or how it's "the greatest blessing ever"... total nonsense.
I am not willing to trade in my career, my car, my life, my long nails, or my expensive skincare routine just to raise a kid. Yeah, call me selfish. Fine. Whatever. Just leave me alone to make my own damn decisions. Maybe—and I mean *maybe*—I'll eventually decide to have one, but only if I were 100% certain some lowlife man wouldn't be cheating on me behind my back. And unfortunately, I know way too many guys who spend all their energy fooling around while their wives are dealing with swollen bellies, hemorrhoids, morning sickness, and feeling absolutely miserable... plus, who would watch the kid if I actually wanted to go out for a drink? Or if I didn't want to sacrifice everything for a toddler's whims? etc., etc...
Bottom line: I'm just not ready for that level of self-sacrifice. I'm not. Period.
