I see the same standard defense being used by everyone else, so why isn't anyone calling them out? Honestly, if those old-school radicals keep this up, maybe some smaller clubs will be next on the chopping block—they really need to take a good look in the mirror.

For now, my only takeaway is that Red Sox Nation is just a bunch of loudmouths and BBB is a group of total losers—that’s pretty much how they act whenever they travel abroad.

@gentlefox52/">@@gentlefox52 - I mean, that’s just how our news sites work—standard stuff. I was mostly just wondering if it actually went down or not.
And judging by how @Bryan Wilson11/">@@Bryan Wilson11 replied, looks like it did.
Also, I was thinking—at what point does a pack of guys/teenagers start acting like this? Like they totally forget these could be their own sisters, or someone's daughters—and honestly, given how old some of them are, maybe even grandmothers (not that I think they'd care how they'd react then).
Man... once the testosterone hits and starts mixing with everyone else's, we basically turn into a mindless mob—just a bunch of idiots that a few "influencers" can easily manipulate.

Man... you guys act like you've never seen a woman in a bikini before. Seriously, you're all acting like some middle schoolers—which is pretty wild considering there are guys over 50 in this group too. It’s kind of embarrassing, I guess.

Wait, what’s the deal with this gold cookie—are they seriously gonna try testing the bottom starting late 2015? I don't know, feels a bit too low to me if it doesn't mean it won't go even lower.

You gotta admit though, those long-range shots happen way more often—I mean, we used to blast them in like that against the Danes all the time—but I haven't really seen anything quite like this before.

anyone ever seen a goal like this before? 😬

Your logic is a bit off—Kimi managed to close the gap by about 0.2xx while Vettel actually let it slip by more than 0.3xx 😬. You’re kind of forgetting the driver factor too

Now they’re playing it like Red Bull did during their peak dominance—maybe a bit less top-end speed, but they’ve dialed in the downforce.

BTW—noticed nobody mentioned the new broadcast graphics and all the extra data we're getting.
Plus, we finally have a decent official YouTube channel for all the deep dives, interviews, and press conferences.
Americans really know how to run a show. 👍

It had nothing to do with undercutting Lewis Hamilton. The whole point of that tactic was just to get the slower lead driver ahead of the faster second driver. It was pretty straightforward—especially after that team radio bit.

Mercedes just moved to cover that play and control the race.
That wasn't even an issue for them—once the pit stops were done, Lewis pulled away by a few comfortable seconds again after just a couple laps.

The only thing they couldn't control was the wheel nuts on the Haas cars.

Unfortunate for Haas—it wasn't even the mechanics (man... those guys looked totally overwhelmed, I guess). It's pretty telling that the issue was on the same side for both cars.

The highs and the lows... (edit: Sky)

Lujo having a Facebook page before this? I must be dreaming. Someone pinch me, because this can't be real. Honestly, you'd probably just end up getting hit over the head...

Jack Kelly5 said:The way Lewis managed to claw back those 2.5 or 3 seconds on Vettel after that initial mistake—while Mercedes was just totally dominant—really shows how good he is.
It probably took him like 2 or 3 sectors just to get back into DRS range, I guess.
Nico Rosberg would’ve been leading this Mercedes through Indianapolis Motor Speedway, honestly.
☕

I don't think even Vettel was really putting that much pressure on him during that part, or even during the second stint, really. One thing I don't get is why Ferrari didn't just go out on supersofts in Vettel's car. They could've easily made it to the end. Maybe they were short on fresh rubber or something?

man, you're kind of losing the plot here, aren't you?
Australia vs. USA - March 25, 2018 in Formula 1 ·
It kind of looks like luck decided to give Vettel a taste of last year's 'favors' toward Mercedes-Benz—if I remember right, there were a few races where the VSC really played into the kitty's hands while Ferrari just got left in the dust

As for Hass, nothing has really changed—just look at those qualifying results from CNN Australia March 25, 2018
I guess everything is pretty much the same as last year, except maybe everyone just dropped off by about a second.
Australia vs. USA - March 25, 2018 in Formula 1 ·
I guess if you took Kimi's progress and applied it to Vettel's 2017 qualifying result, Vettel probably would've been about 0.2 seconds behind Hamilton.

Sebastian Vettel was right behind Lewis Hamilton, who probably tried to squeeze him toward Kimi's side at the start...
If Vettel gets a decent launch, he could easily pull away from both of them like a bullet train 😁

I wasn't talking about track position—more about the gap in time. If Kimi is trailing by this much while Vettel is at that level, then the issue is clearly with Vettel himself rather than Ferrari. Honestly, Kimi actually drove quite a bit better than last year when you look at the time gap to Hamilton. So, this difference seems to be just down to Vettel. Looking at the gaps, Ferrari made progress against Mercedes with Kimi behind the wheel, but they fell behind with Vettel. I mean, I really wonder where the issue lies.

stormybadger8 said:Not really...
When it comes down to those two, Australia belongs to Kimi.
Sebastian Vettel just doesn't seem to click there, whereas Kimi usually nails it...

And honestly, Vettel was clearly struggling all weekend in sector one.
Solid S2, pretty good S3, but usually just terrible in S1...
The real kicker is that he only had one decent S1 during qualifying—that first round in Q3—and then some kid messed up his S3 and everything just went south...

I mean, what else is there to say? Vettel totally blew it (and probably his pit box too). He probably should've been about 0.2-0.4 faster than Kimi. I guess it's either that he couldn't get the setup right, or maybe it's just him—someone who cares more about the drive than the result, which in this case makes it a massive loss for Vettel.

Man... what difference does it even make if at least the top three stay in the same lap.
Australia vs. USA - March 25, 2018 in Formula 1 ·
It’s pretty obvious Vettel was just rough today. I mean—if you get absolutely wrecked by someone dealing with stomach issues like Kimi, it’s basically a sign you had a bad day.

Mercedes-AMG seems way faster than the rest of the field, I guess.

Honestly, Massa is basically Rain Man given how these conditions kept shifting from wet to damp to semi-dry to just dry.
