If you just tackle both issues at once, you'll have the solution: let them move their production to a warehouse or a retail shop, and at least one spot will open up 😉

amberraven7 said:Hey, I'm new here, and I've been dealing with some weird "symptoms"... I'm trying to figure out if I might actually be pregnant—what do you guys think? My cycles are usually off by a day or two, but my last ones were June 30th, August 2nd, and August 30th. This last period was 8 days late, finally showing up on October 8th. It was super strange, too—it lasted two days, skipped two, and then disappeared—even though my periods are normally heavy and last about 7 days. On October 12th (the 5th day of that period), I had sex and my boyfriend finished inside me. Three days later, I started feeling this weird throbbing pain in my uterus... and for the last week, I've been nauseous, and for the past three days, my breasts have been so sore I can't even wear a bra. I actually threw up last night, and now I'm just feeling sick and exhausted. Logically, it seems too early for PMS, and these definitely aren't my usual symptoms—but is it too soon for a test since my next period isn't due until November 8th? I’m curious about your experiences—is it actually possible to get pregnant from having sex during your period? When did your symptoms start hitting you? Thanks
It's possible that last period wasn't actually your period and you were already pregnant, so you could take a test now and it should give you a clear answer; otherwise, it might just be a stomach flu, but either way, it's probably best to just grab a test and find out.
Hey everyone, I was looking at the timeline, and if I'm reading this right, the encounter happened about six days ago. Since symptoms started popping up just two days after the fact, I honestly feel like that timing doesn't quite add up, if you know what I mean.
boldranger12 said:I was wondering—does anyone know the actual odds of getting pregnant if some of the sperm leaks out? Like, how much actually stays inside?
Has anyone else here actually gotten pregnant without doing that thing where you keep your legs up after sex?
Most women end up getting pregnant without ever needing to hold their legs up in the air.

I don't really see many cases where tests failed that late; most of the examples mentioned above seem to be about women testing too early, though I could be wrong. As for Blue Cloud and her story about having two negative results, I’m not sure I buy it.
Douglas Taylor2 said:I took a test about a week ago, using one of those Clearblue ones... and it came back as a solid negative. But honestly, I did it before my period was actually due since last month's flow was pretty light and I was feeling all the symptoms, so I didn't really feel like waiting around to see what would happen.
My period still hasn't shown up yet, though—it's running about 4 or 5 days late now—so I think I'll go ahead and take another one today!
Well, that test was probably a bit of a waste of money $33 🙂 but you should definitely be able to see something by tomorrow 👍

But if that crappy Clearblue test is wrong about $33... ugh, I can't even.. 😁🤣
Well, didn't you take a test back on April 27th? If so, why hasn't your period shown up yet?
irondrifter7 said:My period is 26 days late. I've been noticing some minor symptoms that align with what's being discussed here—for instance, certain foods suddenly smell revolting to me, or I simply can't imagine getting them down. I've also had some lower back pain, headaches, fatigue, and increased discharge. Nothing feels particularly intense, though I suppose it is all slightly more pronounced than usual.
On the other hand, I still smoke and haven't noticed any issues with cigarettes. Alcohol doesn't seem to bother me either, and I haven't experienced frequent urination.
Could someone with more experience in these matters please offer some advice? It would be greatly appreciated.
I should clarify that I am young, and this potential pregnancy is entirely unplanned.
Thanks in advance.
The first thing I'd suggest is to hold off on the smoking and drinking until you find out if you're actually pregnant.☕>

Check your private messages, I sent you one.

Then you should probably just head over to the local OB-GYN.
Casey Hernandez92 said:Yo, does anyone actually know how long "little swimmers" stay inside after you finish?
We went at it again right after the first round—literally five minutes later!
Do I seriously need to run to an OB-GYN or go grab some Plan B right now?????
ughhh I'm freaking out...
They definitely stay in there, and for quite a while too! It really depends on things like how long your cycle usually lasts, when you're ovulating, and what day of your cycle you were on yesterday.
Did Douglas Taylor2 take the test yet?
rapidrider3 said:Specialized and rare? Please. You've got simple water-filled cysts, and then you've got the ones filled with, I don't know, blood? Most of them are just fluid-filled sacs that either burst on their own or require you to go in for some kind of drainage or laparoscopic surgery—something like that.

Then there's PCOS, but that’s a whole different headache altogether.
Let's not get too far off-topic here.
Someone explained it to me once, but I won't dive into the details since I don't really know much about the specific types of cysts myself.🤷
dustyraven33 said:I read right on the pregnancy test instructions that cysts can cause a false positive.
I think someone mentioned earlier that this happens because of some specific, rare kinds of cysts.🤷
Following that logic, we might as well have separate PDFs for wedding seasons or local elections from back in the day. We could just keep making individual files for stocks, funds, banks, insurance companies, loans, agriculture, soap factories, Star Trek, Star Wars, hair, decorative cosmetics, skincare, and natural cosmetics... Honestly, if all those trivial little things get their own dedicated PDF, I don't see why a massive, serious issue like infertility can't have one too!
I mean, you can't seriously tell me that every single type of nail, hair, and skin product can't just be grouped together under one single PDF titled "cosmetics"
Grace Walker13 said:steelcrane12 pointed out something really important that I completely missed: splitting things up would take such a huge load off the pregnancy forums, leaving much more room on both boards for actual helpful discussions and useful info. 👍
I totally agree, because right now the first page is just cluttered with commercial stuff like car seats and strollers, or heavy topics like IVF and trying to conceive... if you're looking for things like fetal heartbeats, you practically have to dig through two or three pages to find them.

So, my period is late—by my math, at least 14 days, maybe even 19. Honestly, I stopped tracking it for a while because last year I was such a nervous wreck about it. I’d spend every single month obsessing over symptoms that weren't even real, just stuff I was totally making up in my own head 😢. But luckily, I remembered when I got it back in February, so I started calculating again. My cycle is usually pretty steady, around 28 to 32 days, though it’s been stretching out a bit lately
.
Anyway, I took a OneStep test this afternoon and... I don't know. I saw a faint, super pale second line—like, barely there. The first line was nice and dark, obviously, but now I'm sitting here wondering if there was even a second line at all, or if I just hallucinated it after staring at the strip for five minutes straight. I don't know 🤷. Just to add to the chaos, I’d already downed four huge cups of coffee (not 😉) along with a ton of juice and water, so my pee was practically clear, almost white. Maybe the timing was just terrible for the test
.
So yeah, just wanted to vent/share with you guys. Part of me wants to bolt to CVS right now to grab another one, but there’s no point. I’ll just wait another 5 or 6 days and try again in the morning. Or maybe my period will just show up in the meantime
.
Oh, one more thing—I have zero symptoms. None. Not even the imaginary ones I used to deal with 🙂. The only thing is, for a few days now—and especially today when I went to the bathroom—I noticed this thick, clearish-white discharge. It doesn't smell, and it isn't heavy. Also, my stomach feels weird today. Not like "cramping before a period" weird, but more like early PMS vibes without the actual pain. Then again, that could also just be my brain playing tricks on me, so I’m not even going to count it
.
Anyway, if anything else happens, I'll check back in with you all 😉
You can totally test again tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure it'll be a positive 😍
