I’ve popped in here quite a few times before, and honestly, I always seem to run into someone else or encounter something that just gets under my skin... though, if I'm being totally real with myself, I think I'm my own biggest headache. This pregnancy is such a complete 180 from my last one—back then, everything was smooth sailing, but now? It feels like there's a new ache or discomfort every single day, and it's making me turn into such a total hypochondriac! You wouldn't believe some of the wild diagnoses I've been running through my head... oh man, it's been a ride. Every time my hip twinges, I feel like sprinting to my doctor or at least blowing up their phone. I swear, I probably can't wait to finally give birth just so I can stop bothering them! There are still three whole months left on this journey, so who knows what other imaginary ailments I'll dream up by then...🙄
p.s. My first baby came at 35 weeks, so I'm definitely feeling a bit extra cautious this time around, but hey, better safe than sorry, right?🤦
Honestly, what’s getting under my skin the most right now is having to run to the restroom constantly. When I'm just hanging out at home, I feel like I could practically live on the toilet... It makes no sense, because as soon as I step outside, everything seems to settle down and stabilize perfectly enough.🤷 I didn't deal with any of this during my first pregnancy...
I see people debating about waiting in line... For me, the thing that really bugs me is when someone pushes ahead of me, whether I'm pregnant or not. You never truly know why someone might be in such a rush, and they might have a perfectly valid reason for needing to skip the line or for needing a seat on the bus regardless of how old they are... Take me, for example—whenever I get my period, I suffer from these absolutely brutal migraines. If I were to board a bus after a long lecture in that state, I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to stand up, not even for a pregnant woman or someone who looks a hundred years old. There was this one time when my little guy was only two months old; we were out for a walk and I had to drop off some paperwork. I told my husband to wait for me while I took a quick stroll around the area. There was only one person ahead of me in line... I called my husband to let him know I’d be right there since I was next in line. Right then, this woman walks in. To be honest, I didn't even realize she was pregnant, even after she took off her coat (it was freezing out!). Just as I was about to head into the office because the person ahead of me had finished, she turns to me and asks if she can go first. I told her I was in a hurry too, but then she mentioned she was pregnant and would be super quick, and she just pushed right past me into the room before I could even process what was happening! I was totally caught off guard. She was gone for five minutes—my husband was calling me in a total panic because the baby was waking up and asking when I'd be back (I told him, "Hold on, I'll have the pacifier in his mouth in five minutes!"). Ten minutes later, she still wasn't out... 😠 My husband calls again, and I'm like, "I'll be there in a second!" So, I didn't even get my errands done... If I had been able to catch her right then, 🙂🙂🙂 I don't judge anyone anymore, and I'm definitely not asking for special treatment or for people to let me cut in line... But please, just stop pushing! 😉

There was nothing visible on the ultrasound today, so I guess it was a miscarriage... damn. I just don't get it—how can everything go so perfectly with the first pregnancy and then this happens? 😢(((

Sometimes, it’s just nature's way of performing its own kind of selection. What you're going through right now is incredibly hard, but please don't think for a second that there is anything wrong with you or that this is going to happen every time.
Good grief, some people really have no filter... So, I was at the local farmer's market yesterday picking up some salad, and as I was paying the cashier, she just looks me straight in the eye and says, "Good luck! May you have a healthy baby boy!"
First of all, I already have a son... Secondly, even if I didn't, this is the first time anyone has ever said something like that to me, as if having a son is some kind of universal wish everyone should be chasing. And honestly? If I were to pick, I’d actually love a little girl... Of course, my biggest priority is just for everything to be okay and healthy, but you know what I mean.
Honestly, my brother-in-law is driving me up the wall lately. He keeps insisting that I’m going to have another boy, acting like it’s some sort of family pattern—as if nobody in his side of the family ever has girls! It’s pretty rich coming from him, considering he isn't even married yet and doesn't have any kids of his own. To be completely clear, I don't actually care what the baby is, as long as everyone is healthy and happy, but man, I would love to just shut him down. I want to look him right in the eye and tell him that I’ve officially opened "Girl Season" and from here on out, it’s nothing but daughters! Of course, I'm mostly saying that to him, because once this baby arrives, I am officially closing up shop and retiring from the whole pregnancy business. I’m currently at 12 weeks and 4 days, so we still have a little while to wait before we find out if we're welcoming a little lady or a little guy...
I was on Yasmin for about two years, and honestly, it just wasn't for me... it took forever to adjust, and I was dealing with headaches almost every single month—literally for twenty days straight. My libido completely vanished, and I felt hyper-sensitive all the time. I have a mild case of PCOS, and before switching to Yasmin, I was taking Triquilar, which was an absolute disaster for me. Neither of them actually cleared up my issues or made things better; every time I went in for a checkup, my results were exactly the same. But now that I’ve switched over to Logest, I can finally see some real progress! My ovaries are finally clearing up and those cysts are gone, plus the adjustment period hasn't been nearly as brutal as it was with the other pills. So, if you're considering Logest 👍

I actually ended up being one of the first ones to get caught in that cycle...😍
Sarah Adams3 said:Yes. I haven't quite figured out how many women have actually ended up pregnant like this yet.
I suppose I haven't had a drink in three days now, even though I was drinking pretty regularly before.
My fertile window was during these last two days, though.
So, you guys don't think there's even a theoretical chance?
When you're on the pill, you can't really track "fertile windows" because those don't exist in the same way—you just never truly know. And regarding your cycle, if you're on birth control, you still count everything from the first day of your period, not from the day you started the pack (unless it's your very first month taking them). I'm not 100% certain, but I believe the biggest risk factor is missing a pill during that first week of the pack (definitely double-check the instructions in the box). If you don't get your period within a week, there's a possibility you might be pregnant...
Frank Jackson5 said:It’s the 23rd, and I’m seeing this brownish-red discharge on the toilet paper. It’s not much, but enough that I actually wondered if I should grab a pad or if my period was finally starting. It happened a few times last night and once again this morning. Sometimes it looks brownish, other times it’s more of a light pink. Still no actual flow yet. Has anyone else dealt with spotting during implantation? Does it look like this?
When I first found out I was pregnant, I had some very light bleeding; honestly, it felt more like spotting right before a period starts, except it was a bit more pink than brown... and it only lasted for a single day. I basically woke up with it, put a liner on, and then it was gone. I'm really crossing my fingers for you that you are pregnant!🙂
